This place is huge in comparison to a lot of the other nerdy type stores I've been to. And, unlike…read moreother nerdy type stores, this one is well lit, with plenty of huge windows up front, and clean floors and empty tables with chairs for people to hump in and play together. They have a game library where you can do an all-you-can-play for $5 a head, and there's plenty of space to play it! They also have community days where you can borrow the games for free! If you're here shopping for the game nerd in your life, and you can't quite afford a full on game, they have little enamel pins and stickers and such that will be a nice little small gift for your gaming friend, while not breaking the budget. I liked that the stickers were made by a local artist, whose name was on the board where they were displayed. At $4 each for a vinyl sticker, I'd say it was a pretty decent buy for something that supports a local artist. And yes, you could buy similar themed stickers at online retailers, but those are generally a bunch of stolen art work slapped onto sticker paper and sold, or a bunch of AI garbage. These stickers looked like they'd been made by the person who was putting their name on them. They also have a private D&D type game room that you can rent to play your more involved pen and paper RPG's in. It's got a table, some chairs, and a door that closes so that you can have your privacy. We went in on a Saturday, and the place was absolutely jumping. People playing card games (Magic The Gathering I think was prominent), board games, or just having snacks and hanging out. This place is a cool spot to check out if you want the company of other gaming types without having to go spend a fortune on drinking.

They have stuff for the kiddos but also some adult oriented selection, notably some Warhammer and other Games Workshop offerings. Apparently they also do some sort of 'game rental' in which for a monthly fee they allow you to try out board games to see if you like them. This is the only place I've heard of this. Not the most comprehensive store, but serves its purpose and knows its audience.

As a parent (or grandparent) it is nice to be able to try some games with the family before deciding to purchase them. Rhinoceros has games for all ages. They also have a variety of games for sale. Games that encourage creativity, cooperation, thinking skills and more can be found on their shelves. It is a great place to find unique gifts along with current favorites. I've taken classes to learn Mah Jongg and pinochle from Bernadette (the owner). She's a great teacher and very encouraging to all. I highly recommend taking classes from her! Once you have the game routine down she works with you on strategies. She and her husband are very open to new ideas and have even invented some of their own games which you can purchase there.

I had played at their Friday night magic booster drafts on numerous times in the past year and this is where I have several complaints about their player base that ruins the positive experience for others. While I was playing there, I had been yelled at by a guy named Peter Mitchell who is very rude and obnoxious on numerous occasions. One time I put a bottled water on the table with the cap sealed and he acts like its going to spill and rudely told me the rules are to not leave drinks on the table. Another instance where he was being ignorant is when I brought snacks in the store to share with everybody and he acts as if I'm taking business away from the store owner. What I am noticing at this store is the poor etiquette of some of the players who behave rudely and has no common sense in socially acceptable behavior in public. I'm taking about a guy named Andre Desir who was caught cheating in a game of Magic the Gathering by drawing extra cards and he tries to defend his actions by shouting at others insisting it's not a big deal. Any form of cheating is wrong and can carry a temporary ban of 1 year at DCI sanctioned events at the judge's discretion but the penalties of cheating is not enforced at this particular store. Those are the main reasons why I view this LGS unfavorably and I would not continue supporting this store. I would highly recommend Gamer's Heaven in Phoenixville instead to play cards. The staff and player base at GH are more ethical in their actions and behaviors and it has always been a good experience there.

I didn't get to spend much time, as I was going somewhere else, but I was extremely happy with my experience. There wasn't any bar of entry. Sometimes I feel out of my league when going into similar places. There is a good amount of tables and seats for playing chess or Magic or I guess whatever else. Definitely give this place a shot!
