I got excited to go in and shop, but the way the employees treated me, I wouldn't spend a penny. There was one guy outside wearing a store t-shirt so I started chatting with him since I was about to go in HIS STORE, and he literally just stared at me like I was from Mars. Didn't even reply to my speaking. So I went in to browse and there were several other employees in the back area who clearly saw me but couldn't be bothered to greet me, welcome me into the store, ask if they could help me out in any way. Turned around and left without buying anything, because let's be real: everything in that store is available online and cheaper. The only reason to buy at those prices is to support local, but if local can't treat you with a shred of dignity, why would you?

Games that encourage creativity, cooperation, thinking skills and more can be found on their shelves. It is a great place to find unique gifts along with current favorites. I've taken classes to learn Mah Jongg and pinochle from Bernadette (the owner). She's a great teacher and very encouraging to all. I highly recommend taking classes from her! Once you have the game routine down she works with you on strategies. She and her husband are very open to new ideas and have even invented some of their own games which you can purchase there.

Years ago, I had a board game 50th birthday party and loved that I was able to pick up game boards to decorate the tables and bits and pieces to use as table scatter and in goodie bags. The bits and pieces are one of my favorite things because you never know when you're going to lose a meeple or cube, or maybe even just want to replace some boring dice with some snazzy ones.
