I am the seller, the buyer hired Bee Sure for their home inspection. The gas was turned off for the…read morehouse, the inspector turned in written documentation to the buyer stating the gas furnace and water heater were not working and required a professional to come in to fix or replace them. (Did not even check to see the line was turned off. The gas company even tagged the connection as being shut off.) Upon have the utility company come back to turn the gas line back on, they inspected the furnace and seen someone had been messing around in the furnace and broke off a piece of the ignitor. I have documentation stating the inspector had opened the furnace trying to start the furnace. The furnace is less than 12 yrs old and was working great, up until the inspection. Coincidence . . . I don't think so. Now as the seller, I get to pay for the repairs!!
