We used to love taking the bikes here with our group of friends, however, after yesterday we won't be coming back. The bartender, I was told was the owner's significant other, was incredibly rude. Absolute worst personality for someone in the hospitality industry. Very disappointed because we typically do enjoy riding and eating there. She needs a serious attitude check and maybe a proper lesson on how to not be so rude to people that go out of their way to be kind even in those situations. I was told that the Top Fuel Saloon was just a biker bar, and I should avoid it... but I don't like to be told what to do, or not do... So I tried it out. Glad I did ! Biker Bar, Dive Bar, Whiskey Bar.... whatever you wish to call it, you owe it to yourself to visit this place ! I've been in for drinks and/or food many times... Freak (the owner) and his staff have always been nice and attentive to their customers. And yes, there are bikers there often, but this place is far more then what images come to mind when someone says "biker bar"... Bikers are generally good people ! I've seen all types and ages of people in there... (I've even seen a few pets drop by to say "hi"). Top Fuel Saloon is a great place to hang out with family or friends.... or even strangers. Food is excellent, I have not had anything yet that I did not injoy. Food and drink prices are about right. Freak is a very kind hearted man, he loves to give back to the community in many ways... heck, he even has a Food Pantry at the Top Fuel Saloon that is opened to anyone who needs it. So, if for no other reason, stop in to the Top Fuel Saloon for some good food, drinks, and good company... to support the man (Freak) who helps support the community!! This is a DIVE bar... you have to understand that first. Don't expect something fancy. With that being said the Food is fantastic, the beer selection is very good and the place was clean. The menu is fairly eclectic, including alligator and shark but still has burgers and fries. They do have a restaurant side with tables and chairs but we were there for lunch and ate at the bar. Service was quick and friendly. And they do take Credit cards. I will return! read more

I was going to give 2.5 stars but obviously couldn't. I went here on Columbus Day 2016 with my two 12 year old boys. After we arrived I sat in the parking lot for a few minutes wondering if they would be allowed inside as it is a "Saloon" and served alcohol. I couldn't find anything on their site nor within any of the reviews I could find on short notice. Well went for it and were greeted by the bar tender as she was in the front of the restaurant having a smoke break. The place has very few tables and a bar with maybe 12 or so seats/stools. No way to identify this as a speed related "Saloon" as their was no associated decor. We seated ourselves and were brought menus by the bar tender we saw outside. The menu was just one piece of paper printed on both sides or maybe two pieces of paper inside a binder sleeve. The food was above typical bar fare with burgers, beef, sausage, combos, wings and other similar bites. She asked us what we wanted to drink and I asked for an iced tea and to my surprise she said they don't have iced tea. What kind of restaurant does not have iced tea??? My boys had Coke and diet Coke. To be honest I was ready to get up and leave at that point but we stayed. We ordered the Top Fuel Fries, two single cheese burgers and a double cheeseburger. The Top Fuel Fries were actually really good. The fries were hot, the bacon I believe was fresh and not from a shaker and the cheese was fresh and hot as well. The jalapenos added just the right punch without going over the edge. The burgers were done to a standard as we were not asked how we wanted them done. We all prefer our burgers medium and these came a very medium to almost medium well. Very little pink at all. They were good though and were fresh hand made patties and not frozen. We also ordered the fries and they were on the line of Gene & Jude's. Service was pretty good overall. The bathroom stalls do NOT HAVE DOORS ON THEM. WTF is that? I understand this is a "Saloon" but really??? I know that later in the evenings or when concerts are going on fights and breakages occur but really??? Also, what's up with the transmission in the bathroom??? Well our time was up and our bellies were full so the bar tender brought us our bill and I pulled out my debit card and she tells me they don't accept credit or debit cards. Once again WTF?!?!?! They just so happen to have an ATM in the "Saloon" that charged me $3 for my money. Well the bar tender lost on that deal as our bill was $37 and change and I got just $40 out of the machine so if you're wondering why your tip was squat, call the ATM owner and get my $3 surcharge and keep that as a tip. So overall the experience was not all that good and we will not be back until they square themselves away. Maybe a call to John Taffer??? read more

Hands Down, the best local food around!! Have been here 3 times in the past few weeks, and would like to eat here every day of the week! Awesome burger that the know how to cook medium-rare! Gator Taco's were delicious as well as the cole slaw! Wennie Wednesday Chicago Style hotdog with old school fresh cut fries get 3 thumbs up. Friends have been bragging about the Fish Fry too. Worth driving any extra distance to get to!! I also hear their Pizza is way good too. Next on my list!! read more

Bumped into a friend while riding. He said he was on the way to this Saloon. He said you are going to love it. So...we followed him. We had the best time!! All employees were great not to mention Freak talks to everyone, works the bar, delivers food, just does it all. Great band was playing! We had burgers and onions rings which were awesome!
