It's one of a few that are downtown. This is actually right next to another one. Maybe drinking is the only thing to do around here. One can do that here and eat too. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail. There's a decent amount of liquors including a few whiskeys. It's about $4 for an appetizer. Tater tots are a good choice for any occasion. I work near by and frequented them 3-4 times monthly. I truly try my best to support the small business instead of the corporate America. My go to was two dogs and a small cheese fry. I always asked for diced onions on my cheese fry for $5.99 plus tax and then the older lady (The grumpy one) decided to start charging me .80 cents for the onions. Why i asked, since don't when your hot dogs and she said that's what they do! So my small cheese fry with onions is $7.30 with tax. It should be $7.15 with 6.75% tax. So figure that one out? I have never posted on any of these sites. My hope is that the owners would read this and take note. I sadly refuse to go there any more. My $15 lunch purchase 3-4 times a month wont be missed. We ordered two brisket sandwiches and an order of pulled pork nachos. The food was good, brisket was a little dry, but no real complaints. They had 3 sauce options you could put into to-go containers yourself to try out, we opted for the southern comfort I believe and it was good BBQ! Also a nice touch I saw is they sold farm fresh eggs. My only two critiques would be phone etiquette and inventorying expired product. We called ahead of time to make sure the restaurant was open with it being a holiday weekend. Once the phone was answered on the other end, it was silent for about 30 seconds then we were given just a "Hello?". We had to confirm we were calling Cherry Red Roasters instead of calling someone's personal phone. We were given sour cream I believe in a packet to go with our nachos, but the expiry date on the packet was 5/13/2025 when the date we dinned was 5/25/2025.

We went in and initially was going to get it to go however decided to stay because it is very spacious and the hostess was friendly. We were seated and not long after sitting our waitress came to the table to take our order and was friendlier than the hostess. (Big plus for that alone) We ordered our beverages and an appetizer at the same time. By the time the waitress was back we were ready to place our order. We ordered a Wing Bundle which came with quite a bit....we kind of didn't need to order an appetizer and the food came out rather quickly!
