I recently changed phone providers and have a new phone number. PSA apparently does not allow their customers to change their phone numbers or their account will be locked out. I called customer service because there is no way to contact them for website issues and the lady I spoke to didn't know how to fix it. Not surprised. She told me I should just create another account. I tried, but I get a message stating an account already exists for this person. So, unless I move to a new address and change my email address, I can no longer have an account with PSA. No big loss, as I can get anything they sell at many other online retailers. They were convenient, and I was trying to support a US based business. But businesses like this make is so hard for me to continue trying to support US businesses. So, don't change your phone number without first getting permission from PSA. LMAO. What a sorry excuse for a business. read more

Very creepy. I simply called to ask a general question and they harassed me wanting to know my name and contact info. I didn't give it to them, but still got an email asking me to leave a review (well, you get what you ask for, here it is). I can't stand data mining and this company just took it to an extreme. Cancelled order because "information could not be verified". Same address and card information that we've already received FFL and ammo orders from. Website chatbot was completely useless. No option to talk to a human and zero useful information. Phone call to customer support was also unhelpful. Edit - Apparently one of the customer service reps has now flagged the order for fraud because my husband called about it. Disgraceful customer service and communication. Way to lose customers! Let me start off with local vs online. I do like shopping at PSA in store only. The folks who work in store have gotten way better and I enjoy talking to them and them Helping me find and get what I need. They're online not so much. I have ordered a several times online and the last few times I get burned. I can not recommend buying online from PSA. You can find better deals from other sites and or locals shops around town most of the time. They don't really sell the items they just drop ship most of it charging you a bit more. But if you can do work in finding it I guess you pay for it. I ordered something at 11pm at night and within 12 hours the next morning I found it at the shop and tried to cancel the item. They said it had already shipped and can't cancel it cause it from a drop shipment. I will never order from them online again. They lost me as a shopper for online. You could do better. read more

PSA's customer service is abysmal. Numerous attempts to contact them regarding product questions, concerns, and/or other miscellaneous inquiries have gone unanswered. I am not talking one or two inquiries, I am talking about at least a half-dozen over the course of several months. To add insult to injury, one CSR rep hung up on me when I pressed for a product question to be answered. Why PSA's management would not only allow this, but tolerate it, and apparently encourage it, by their lack of intervention, is beyond me. Their only redeeming feature is their prices. But even then, at some point, that is not worth the headache of dealing with them and/or getting questions answered. read more

The only way to cancel an order is to call. And you have to call before they ship your item, otherwise you have to pay to ship it back. Just use Amazon or MidwayUSA. Otherwise, PSA brand firearms and products are really really good and affordable. Just wish service was better. read more

Right out of the box I had Multiple failures to extract and stovepipes making the PCC unreliable and unusable. PSA tried to get me to bend/mosify extractor to make it work while it was under warranty. read more

Terrible service!! Had an FFL dealer listed that doesn't seem to even be open any longer. Firearm was shipped and because no one was there to sign its been shipped back to PSA yet I still cannot get any new information. No idea where to pick up, no update on delivery. When I finally did get someone on the phone after trying for over 3 hours they instructed me to wait for an email with options instead of taking initiative to get me some assistance. My call started with calling the customer service number, whereupon I was connected with the ever present robot giving me a list of options that I could select. Unfortunately, my issue didn't fit any of them, and there was no option for "everything else". In addition, virtually every option required an order number, again, which my issue did not involve an order. Frustrating, and I was practically screaming when i hit the right combo of words and was connected to Donald in customer service. Donald was pleasant, and took care of my problem in just a few minutes. Its too bad that it took 10 times the amount of time to get to a human than it took to solve the issue. read more

Firearms buyers beware!! PSA's FFL list is bloated with FFL's that have no intention on transferring your firearm to you. PSA takes and accepts no responsibility to police and maintain their list. When you order a firearm, and you select an FFL from their list on their website they control and you select the wrong FFL, you are left without your purchase and a restocking fee of up to 50% or more. After contacting customer service when the FFL that received my items would not transfer them, not only did they not help, the supervisor poked me in the eye by sending me their FAQ, and basically told me it was my fault that I trusted them and their list. I will consider this an object lesson on how and who not to purchase a firearm from that I will use in "selecting and buying a firearm" portion of my classes. I am sure my students will appreciate avoiding this nightmare. I was a long time customer that advocated for and stood up for PSA (even when they were being badmouthed in my circles). Unfortunately, that will not happen moving forward, and I will have to add mine to the chorus of voices with poor PSA experiences. It didn't have to be that way... Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY from PSA and find an online retailer that has a "preferred FFL list" that will transfer your firearm, so you aren't screwed out of a gift for your wife and 50% of your purchase price. read more

After I unboxed a Mauser .22 cal ordered from Palmetto, I discovered a missing part from the gun. It was a cocking lever pin and essential to firing the rifle. After contacting Palmetto, they refused to do anything about it, and proceeded to tell me I had to contact the Mfg in Germany to request the missing part. I could not fire the rifle due to no fault of my own. IMO, they should be the one contacting Mauser and request the part on my behalf instead of claiming no responsibility or concerns, and shoving the ownership of this mishap on me. Purchased a firearm online through this place. Horrible experience. Not only did their website glitch and routed my package to the wrong FFL as it turns out they no longer were an FFL. So even trying to pick up the firearm is futile as it's against the laws regarding firearm transfer. Katrenia is a sorry excuse for a customer service representative. She had attitude and talked over me when I attempted to explain the situation. I ultimately figured out online how to have UPS send the firearm back so that they may send it to the correct FFL even though I don't possess the firearm to take it to a UPS location. I am unsure whether to tell them now to refund me minus my restocking fee or go ahead and send me the firearm. After doing some digging, I found their price was higher than other vendors out there. I would call customer service verify everything is correct and they would blame it on new software And tell me to reorder. Bought a semi auto 12g firearm. When I got it it was missing the magazine. So upsetting. So I contacted PSA and they said I had to call the manufacturer which I did. I went to get a Glock gen 6 g45. I called to make sure it was in stock. When I called I had to talk to someone at a call center. Not a fan of that part, when I want to ask about a guns availability I want the person I'm speaking with to be looking at the item I'm asking about so there's no confusion. Speaking of confusion I was told that the price of the gun was $620.00. So, I drive an hour to the store to find that the gun was in stock, and was priced at $669.99. I did end up purchasing the firearm and the only reason I still bought it was because they were the only store within 80 miles with one in stock. never have a problem with the store. they are always very helpful and knowledgeable. but PSA i rather not talk to anyone rather than get the wrong information and have to pay to own an item. read more

First, let me start by saying PSA is not only a strong supporter of 2A causes, but offer quality products at a price point unmatched by other vendors. I've been a customer for a decade and not once have I had an issue....until now. The laws of statistics caught up with me. I had ordered one of their PSA branded single stage triggers a few months back for an irresistible price. It wasn't an immediate need, just to have for my next project. Well that next day came, well beyond the return/claim period, only to discover that the very important trigger pins were missing. I submitted a customer service request and received a reply that it may take up to 3 business days for a reply. On the third day I received notice that "Janet" was sending me replacement pins. No questions, no hassles, no "sorry, too late" BS! They took my word for it, made it right, free of charge! I am NOT in any way compensated by PSA!
