Easy enough to find when someone clues you on on it's existence. Definitely a dive bar although not a Biker dive bar. Mostly old geezers like myself and popular with the townies. I always get the vibe that I am the only outsider in the place when I'm there although the people seem friendly enough. The big draw is the cheap booze and the gambling options. I'm happy with anything cold on tap and I don't gamble (or play pool) so I mostly just hang out and enjoy a decent sandwich and a cold one. The bar (which is where I usually sit) is typically fully occupied by locals who look to be ranchers and other blue collar types although mostly long retired guys. I come though Goldendale a few times every year but I have other fave stopping places for grub so I don't stop in here that often. Nice place and nice people, as I said but I don't have much in common with them except for a preference for non-flashy, reasonably priced dive bar food and beer.

I found this place in the small town of Rufus, OR because the menu looked great and wanted something local. We arrived and it looked pretty busy, which is a good sign.
