I had great service for my first appointment, but not excellent. The colors matched exactly what I was looking for based on a picture, she did a color test as well. The shape was what I asked for, the length was good, the acrylic thickness was not too thick or thin, but the shape was not even on both sides for most of the nails. Slightly off to where I notice. Also the French tip color white was not fully covering each nail completely. I got sat down immediately from a walk in and everyone was nice. Friend came with me to get pedicure and she loved it. Came twice but it's a bit too pricey... my dip powder French acrylics were $55 without tip-- but that's probably the cheapest you can find in boca. The workers are a little too rough on the fingers. Second time I came back to remove them the worker was doing well till the end when I asked her to file it down some more because she missed spots and the nails were patchy, she then got really bothered and rolled her eyes... she did it anyway but still, rude treatment towards customers shouldn't be handled in that way. UPDATE: I was contacted by the manager of this establishment and he had some colorful things to say. He was kind in the beginning when he wanted me to come back and have them fix my nails. As soon as I declined and said nothing would make this right aside from them not having charged me what they did he showed his true colors. He said he could also say things about me online... sounds like a threat. In my photo there is a pencil which he mistakes as a nail drill... He believes I'm a spy sent by competitors to review this place... but he ignores the photos of the horrible work done at this place. I have been going to this place for a few years now. After today, I will never return. This place used to be spotless clean, experienced staff and all. Today, the place was filthy, slippery floors, no air-conditioning. The older gent that was assigned to me couldn't even see what he was doing, ruined my toe nails so I had to cancel the polish so it wouldn't be so obvious. He did not provide full service I paid for! No scrubbing of dead skin on bottom of feet, left some of the toenails uncut, with cuticles not cleaned. I could go on and on. For a deluxe 50 dollars pedicure, it's an absolute shame. read more

I got Nexgen on my natural nails and I love the color and the application.. it's day 1 so I may update my review in 2 weeks and let you guys know how they are holding up.. my last Nexgen mani lasted me a little over 3 weeks (done at a different, more expensive salon) so if these hold up then then this will be my new nail go to. I just moved in the neighborhood and went here for my first time. I got nexgen (which I have been doing for over 2 years at my previous salon) and I wasn't thrilled about how they turned out. They were uneven, lumpy and a little messy on the outer parts of the sides of my nails. However, I am not picky so as long as something isn't noticeable at first glance, I can roll with it. Then 5 days later 2 of my nails popped right off like a drug store press on. In my experience, you have to literally pencil in an entire extra 30-40 minutes when you need to get these removed because not even a chain saw will do the trick, LOL, so for them to pop right off was strange. I went in and they promptly fixed the 2 nails. Then the next day 2 more popped right off. I had to return to get them fixed in which I waited about 25 minutes for an available tech (understandable for a Saturday but given the circumstance) This morning another nail popped off. I'm going to have to just go somewhere else entirely because as a full time working mom, I just don't have that kind of time to get a nail fixed every day. Not too mention I wasn't thrilled with the cleanliness and organization of this establishment. read more

My favorite hidden gem of "cheap" nail places! Owned and managed by Mimi and her family for the past decade or so, this place is always inviting, reasonably priced, and close to home. I always get the "dip it" Next Gen, and I'm shocked by how many of their technicians not only know how to do it, but do it WELL. Most places have 2, maybe 3 that can do it, but I've been to about 6 different people for the "dip it". Although they always seem busy, I've never had to wait long, even if I just drop in. Mimi & Jason are my favorites, but I honestly haven't had a bad experience. I'm getting married in two weeks, and plan on having my bridal mani/pedis there with the girls, compared to other overpriced "luxury" nail places in Boca (that seem to leave me underwhelmed with the quality of the manicure anyway). That was the most CHAOTIC nail appointment I've EVER been to. I tried this place out for the first time today. Before sitting down I had to use their restroom and the back of the store is APPALLING and frankly gross. The guy that "tried" taking my acrylic nails off took about an hour and cracked 2 of my natural nails in the process which hurt very much. Then I was I instructed to go to a different table with no explanation. A woman began doing my nails which I later learned was the manager. Every 5 minutes she would leave and help another customer or answer the phone or instruct another nail tech. She was all over the place and strung out. I finally had to tell her to please stay with me because I had already been there for over an hour and my nails did not even have tips on them. She then scolded me for not making an appointment which I actually did earlier that day....I don't even think she looked at my face once she just talked to me about I don't even know what. Overall my nails turned out pretty good but the whole experience was traumatizing and I will NEVER be going there again. Will not recommend to ANYONE read more

A nail tech named Vicki did my nails. I had the nails on for about three weeks now. I'm never going back to this salon again. I brought friends and one of the nail techs told my friend she was "too sensitive" after hurting her while cleaning her nails too rough. That was until the trip before last that has prompted this update. Let me explain, I got a gel mani the night before I left for a business trip. One nail chipped while away, and then another within days of my mani. This has never happened for me with a gel mani by THN. I was bummed and my schedule was tight so I debated going in for repair. Alas, I decided to call and they were more than willing to have me come right in for repair. Tracy happily repaired my nails and MY error in recalling how many coats of polish I had resulted in uneven color (not drastic). Tracy INSISTED that she fix them all so they were perfect, at no cost to me, even though we were quickly approaching closing hour. Top Hit was Top Notch! I see a few reviews that talk about the staff being nasty. I have to disagree they are nice. Unfortunately nice can only take you so far. This is your typical chop shop nail salon. I could rub my foot with a feather and it would have more pressure then the massage the women gave during my pedicure. DO NOT get waxed by them. I had a half leg wax and will more then likely go home and shave. I'm a little picky I guess I work in the beauty business so I know how the procedures go. The pedicure is decent the polish looks good the shape is ok but, none the less I can wear open toes. So for a quick get in get out its fine. There are better places out there for sure. It's valentines days I wanted to do something nice for myself and get relaxed. This is not the place to go. UPDATE: 2 stars was just too many. Went in for a quick polish change. I couldn't have made it easier for them. I brought my own polish, the girl I believe the owner drilled my nails to try and get me to get a fill. I did not need a fill and she made crazy drill marks I should have just left my week old polish. read more
