Met some colleagues here for dinner and was impressed with the cleanliness and prompt level of service. They have a wonderful variety of Mediterranean dishes and much of the menu caters to vegetarian diets. Today I tried the baba ganoush and the falafel. The eggplant dip was properly roasted with that Smokey flavor and had the right level of acidity. The falafel were perfectly crisp, bright green on the inside and seasoned well. I'm few months pregnant, I was craving Mediterranean food. My boyfriend mentioned this place. We ordered a two protein plate (beef chunks and a 2 . And a side of cucumber yogurt + a drink. The drink itself was 4.25$ the cucumber yogurt was not it for 8$ it tasted just thrown together (no thin cut + oregano??). We got the plate and the thin small portions of the meat and beef we're appalling. Not to mention the ridiculous salad with what it tasted was tajin and lemon as the dressing. The rice had no aroma or flavor [bland] Disappointing) then the pita bread was brought to us in the bag it was purchased cold. I asked her to warm them up and they came back the same the bag was the only hot thing. Definitely need to work on the food. This was not Mediterranean maybe Mediterranean influenced or Inspo. Great Food! And I am a first timer to try Arabic Food in my life. My friend brought some for a retirement celebration and I must say, I was so impressed. The lady in front explained to us the plates which were extremely helpful, she also let us know it was going to be 20 minutes before we got our food. We ordered the 2 meat each, the portions were big, the salad was amazing, the chicken and beef kabobs were so flavorful and to make everything come together the garlic sauce sent it over the top. I wanted to give this place 5 stars. I ordered to go and the service was great. Really nice people. But my lentil soup had no lentils, all broth and to salty.
