Not only do you get amazing toys for the kids at a very reasonable price but also Anime action figures as well. Sarge is an amazing person and blessed us with the story of his mission but also gifted my son and husband with a Brett Favre Funko doll and my son who has autism a sensory Pikachu pop toy. For collectors, that's an incredible value considering the tailored service you receive. Will this model be for everyone? No, and that's okay. If you're someone who just wants to walk into a store, grab a comic, and leave with minimal interaction, there are other comic shops in the Antelope Valley and countless online retailers that can meet that need. But if you're a serious collector who values personalized recommendations, pull list management, and owners who genuinely invest in helping you build your collection, Horizon Comics has created something special. Pricing is at least 50% off retail with a free membership that you can sign up for while checking out. The sale items are discounted even more. There is something for everyone here including adults. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Stock is replenished often and there is a variety of brands available. Limit is 50 for the same item. Be sure to take the time to peruse through everything. One tip is, if you see something you like, put it in your cart immediately. It may not be there during a second round of browsing. True story.

Let the kids play with the train in the center of the store and waited by the register for someone to acknowledge me. Never happened. Left after 15 minutes of being ignored. Hopefully the next business in that location will have people who care about customers. Prices of items were super inflated. I could get the exact same Melissa & Doug items off Amazon with next day delivery for much cheaper.

Lucky for her, we were able to locate the last NeeDoh ice cube for $3.99. We were excited about the price because anywhere else they priced them at triple amount which I find it so insane. My son bought a small airplane toy and I had to get a Lake Arrowhead magnet for my fridge. Love the prices on those too. Total came to about $13 for all three items which isn't too bad. There were so many toys within the store though. It was a bit overwhelming, but lots of cool stuff. Some toys were pricey and some at reasonable prices. I was trying to buy squishy needles for my two teenage children, who are only 13 and 14 years old. She refused to sell them to us because, according to her, they were "not kids." The way she handled the situation was unnecessary and made both of my children feel embarrassed, disappointed, and angry. Afterward, I called the store manager to share my concerns and provide feedback. Unfortunately, I felt that the manager didn't seem to care about my point of view or the fact that the interaction had hurt my family's feelings. The way we were treated left me feeling unwelcome. While I can't know the reason for how we were treated, the experience made me wonder whether bias played a role, and it left me feeling as though we may have been treated differently because of our race. No customer should leave a store feeling that way. I am without words after reading other reviews here, that totally make sense on our experience at this store. It is sad to see that my family and I are not the first and definitely not the last people that would have this type of experience at this store. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this store, and I hope management takes customer service and respectful treatment of all customers more seriously.
