I love this food. It's a little more expensive than it used to be but it's still worth it! I love the refried beans and they have the best corn tortillas ever. My favorite things to order are the Cheese enchiladas (that for some reason come out as cheese tacos), the carne Asada street tacos and the carne asada fries. One word of caution: this is the opposite of health food. the ingredients are really fresh but there is a lot of cheese and a lot of frying going on. We live in the neighborhood and walk up to the store for some take out Mexican food. The food is great try everything we love the Burritos. You can sit at the tables to eat or take your food home. This review is for the mexican shop inside, but posting my review here as well to get more awareness to both places :) We heard of this place from looking through yelp and am super happy that it's close by to home. Definitely will be a go-to place for some tacos and fries whenever I'm craving for them. This place is located inside Top Market and Deli, and you would order at the cash register of the store. The people was nice and they brought the food to our car so we didn't have to wait indoors for the food. We got: Carne Asada Fries: mmmmmm this was sooo good. Fries filled with cheese, beef, and sour cream. It was hot and fresh and just delicious. And for around $9, you get a generous portion. 3 tacos ($1.75 / piece): We got chicken, chorizo, and beef. THese are pretty decent tacos, filled with meat, onions, and cilantro. They gave us a few radish and carrots as well. The meat was a little dry and kinda bland but the sauce they provided us definitely balance it out. Speaking of sauce, these sauce are pretty delicious. Definitely will be back to try their other dishes for sure. read more

The Top Market & Deli "Mexican Menu" replaces Monte Rico, the previous kitchen. Notably, TM&D-MM allows diners to pay with credit card in addition to cash; transactions are now conducted at the front register. There is a slightly larger seating area for eating in than Monte Rico. I ordered 3 Steak Tacos and 1 Steak Burrito from the register, and received my food within 5 minutes. The Steak Tacos were excellent, and correctly garnished with Onion, Cilantro, Radish and Lime. The Burrito contained Beans, Rice, Steak, Sour Cream, Cilantro and Onion. The steak in both items was heavily marinated, and quite tasty. Both Red and Green sauces were provided in the take-out bag without my asking, and both are very good! The green has a wonderful color and thick consistency, and the red is spicy but not TOO spicy. Important Note: the Coke & Sprite that comes in glass bottles (required) is now found on the lowest shelf in one of the coolers against the rear wall. I am excited for authentic Mexican food in my neighborhood again, and am looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu! read more

Everyone raves about the Mexican takeout here and over NEVER had it!! I give this lovely little corner store five stars for selection of local beer including growler fills on tap. It also has a very useful amazon locker location. Lots of space for social distancing. Well lit. Eventually I need to come try the take out because apparently it's fantastic! read more

What a hidden gem!! At first it seems like your average korean owned convenience store with all the usuals. What makes this place special though are two things. 1. THE IS A BOMB LITTLE MEXICAN JOINT IN THE BACK THAT SERVES UP AWESOME TACOS DORADOS, as well as other classics. 2. The staff is incredibly friendly! I mean go out of the way friendly. This place is a hidden gem. If you are in the Kirkland, Woodinville, Bothell area, and are in need for some yummy tacos, then this is your place. It's located inside of a corner store, but operates like a restaurant. There are tables, beer on tap, and a grill. Its authentic and yummy! The tortillas were fresh and hot. We ordered the carne asada, pollo, and carnitas tacos. My favorite was the pollo. The salsa was pretty decent as well! I will definitely return! read more

I HATE that I'm having to give this place 1 star after having such amazing food there before. The owners are very nice and were even sweet enough to add the extra touch of "enjoy your food" on the to go boxes but I had the worsssttttttt stomach bug a day after eating it. We had ordered one chicken burrito, carne asada fries, carne asada tacos, the spicy shrimp and horchata to go. My sister really enjoyed her chicken burrito - she wouldn't stop saying how big it was! and my boyfriend ate all of his spicy shrimp even though it wasn't really spicy at all. But my other sister and I ate the fries and tacos and felt SO sick the next day. It's so unfortunate because I've eaten their tacos a handful of times in the past!! I'm so bummed out about it but I probably won't take my chances here again. read more

Cash Only! Highly annoying! Of course have they a fee ATM in the corner. I usually don't frequent places that are cash-only, there is no recourse when there is an issue. The food is okay not worth paying ATM fees. I don't like carrying a lot of cash on me or paying the fees. They need to get with the times. I will come back when they do. read more

I wanted to try Denise's Cafe next door but I got there two minutes after closing so I wandered in here to grab a Coke. It's your typical convenience store, with an emphasis on beverages. I'm not a drinker, but it looked like they had a decent selection of wine and beer, plus all the usual pop, chips, and other junk food. It wasn't open when I was there but they also had a little cooking area in the back where they had burritos, quesadillas, and other offerings. I'm very skeptical of any hot food at a convenience store, but there was nothing but Spanish being spoken back there, so I guess there's a chance the food is OK. This place has indeed changed owners and the new owner is making positive changes. They have improved Mexican food, well priced growler fills, UPS drop off and amazon lockers. The burritos are much larger than before and the meat is better marinated. The Horchata is also good. The prices appeared to be high than before but mostly justified. read more

A great neighborhood shop. The owners are super friendly. I love the assortment of snacks for sale that range from my favorite donettes, ice cream sandwiches, chips, or $1.50 homemade desserts like giant muffins, pastries, and cheesecake. I was taken aback by a fly getting cozy with everything in the dessert case, but I'm not a germophobe so eh. The cheesecake tasted fresh and was half the cost of the stale desserts at Safeway. Note that the ATM has a $2.25 service charge so plan ahead if you're here for Monte Rico (the cash-only restaurant located in the back). Two or three stars for cleanliness and five stars for service, selection, and price. read more
