I've been to Top Nail twice and both experiences were great. Jane does the best pedicures including her wonderful calf and foot massage. I recommended her to my husband and he was very pleased with his pedicure. The entire staff is friendly, salon is impeccably clean and their massage chairs very powerful. They took my temperature and I was sat immediately for my pedicure. The staff is always so friendly and professional. My daughters and I started going to top nails this summer for gel manicures, the prices are good and the manicures were great. However, the last two times I have gone I have gotten the same girl, Candy, and after three days multiple nails had the gel peel off. Both times I went back and the first time had the damaged nails redone. Today I went and the gentleman at the counter was so rude and patronizing, telling me that it was my fault despite the fact that it not happened with any of the manicures I had with the other girls. Update: August 2019 It's been a year since my first visit and I still love this place. Do they always do an absolute perfect job every time? No. (95% time they do though.) But the quality is still great even when they're in a rush. My friend and I visited a brand new salon today in Levittown. The owner has had 20+ years experience and the reviews were good so we thought we'd try it out. To make a long story short, it was *awful*. While it was clean and cute, they did a terrible job on both our manicures and pedicures. The staff was unfriendly too, the tech that did my nails was on her phone constantly and her own nails had dirt under them. This experience made me realize how much I really appreciate the work and quality that Top Nails provides. I won't stray again. Yesterday was my first time visiting Top Nail and Spa and I think I've found my new favorite salon! It's Mother's Day weekend so the salon was pretty busy, but the wait wasn't more than 10/15 minutes. The salon was nice and clean, but a little congested since they have a lot of staff. It's a very quaint place. I ended up get a powder manicure (it was my first time trying it out) and it turned out AMAZING! It cost me $35 for the powder manicure with two accent nails. A gel manicure costs $22. At my old salon it cost me $30 for a gel manicure (that chipped in like a week and a half) so obviously with Top Nails and Spa you get more bang for your buck. I honestly love how my nails turned out and I can't stop admiring them! The staff was accommodating and the nail tech was great. I asked her to clean up my cuticles and change the design I chose and she was great about it. She didn't say much, but it didn't come off as an awkward silence or rude. In fact it was nice to just sit there, relax, and enjoy the quiet time. She also offered a free shoulder massage (you can say no if you'd like) which was really nice and relaxing. What I also liked was the salon offered a frequent visitor card. When you go 10 times you get $5 off you bill! I was really happy with my experience and have already recommended the salon to two friends. I can't wait to go back and get a pedicure. read more

I wish I could give them 3.5 stars because I thought they were better than the average nail salon but I don't think they quite make the 4 star mark. The tools that were used on me came out of the UV light cabinet but they weren't cleaned or rinsed after being used on me before they were shoved back in there. The file they used had remnants of other people filings which made me a bit grossed out. I prefer the salons that break the files into pieces and use one per customer (no reuse). I mean we're talking about other people's dead skin cells here!!! (and fungus and god knows what!) The staff were all very friendly and spoke English pretty well which was a nice plus, but the nail polish choices were slim. Only two small display cases that repeated a lot of the colors and were pretty out of date. The bathroom was clean and smelled reasonably well and the massage chair I was in worked well and seemed pretty new. I got a massage from the front desk guy after my pedi while I was in the nail drying station - it felt nice but it was kind of odd to be massaged by a random man while sitting in the middle of a nail salon - kind of awkward. I wasn't offered any water and no one came to test my nails and deem me as done drying - I just sort of packed up and left after 20 minutes and no one really even said bye. I'm going to try a couple other salons before I decide if I'll come back. Not bad, but could use some improvement. read more

Really bad quality. Came for a gel manicure, was told we didn't need appointment if we came at 12:15, we went at 12:15 and had to wait 15 minutes. The nail stylist I got was really rushed, barely filed my nails, still very uneven, and barely touched my cuticles that needed and TON of work. She was going to start painting and I asked her to do more, the owner came over and said it was Ok, I argued back that my nails still looked really bad and he kept saying it was ok. I ended up walking out with paying $12 for NOTHING. I went back in and complained and I got my money back but still. Terrible service. read more

I've been going here off and on for the past year for gel nails and, for what I've experienced, like it. This is the first place I've ever went to actually have my nails done for me, so I'm a bit scared to "shop around" for different places. With what they offer and how they do my nails, I'm okay with it there! The prices are very decent compared to other places (for what I see with gel and normal manicures). Something I dislike though, is the designs. They have some very cute ones that they offer right at the front, but if you ask for it in a specific way, or show them something on your phone, they may just say no (I had came in asking for music themed nails I found on my phone, and they instantly turned it down just because they thought it would take too long. It was part of a music staff and one note?). They do this crazy artwork for acrylic nails all the time, but they don't seem to want to try to make gel nails that nice. Although, some of the employees do, you just have to find the right ones. I'll probably continue going there until I find a place with about the same prices, just better designs for gel. read more

The ladies really do a great job taking their time with each individual customer. I never felt rushed. I got a "French pedicure" by Angela- all she did was cut my nails, scraped underneath and then painted horrifically. 3 of the white tips on my nails covered my full nail... when I asked her to fix them to make it thinner she got frustrated and fixed the line, but did not put a base coat or top coat on it. I paid 30$ for something that looks like I did it myself. All the good technicians are gone and I will never come back here. read more

My daughter and I came here today. She is 7 and got a mani/pedi and I got just the pedi. Our total bill was $60! I have never spent that much when we both got a mani/pedi. The pedi was nice and the people were friendly but since they don't post prices, I guess I should have asked what services cost and I suggest you do the same. My neighbor told me to go here as they only charge $12 for a mani for her daughter. This has been my go to salon for over a year. They do amazing pedicures. The massage is heavenly. And they usually do very clean work. But I have watched it go downhill. They doubled the amount of tables in the place, and doubled the amount of employees. It didn't used to matter who did my nails, they were all great. But the last few times it has been poor. They can't do a simple design. Or a modern shape. They really need to keep up with modern nail trends, they are starting to become very out of date. I went in and asked for coffin nails, a simple nail with just a narrower top. Showed the picture I attached. She said ok I can do that. Awesome. She starts going away at my nails. She cuts the sides, they're still pretty wide, I tell her narrower. She says she'll file more after acrylic. Ok. Acrylic is on and now they look super square. She files away I keep telling her thinner. Show her the picture again. Ok. Now she's filing so furiously she cuts my f-ing finger with the file. Ugh. Ok. So she keeps working, I'm not liking the way it's looking. Manger comes, I tell him, he tells her in whatever language and motions to make them more narrow. She says ok. Filing like crazy. Now she cuts me again. I'm annoyed. Nails are looking ugly and crooked. It's getting late. I can see I won't like them. So I say take them off. They're not what I want. They're not going to be. He says someone else can fix them. No thank you I don't want to be here for another hour. So they agree to take them off. She must've been mad cause she burned me with that stupid sander countless times. I honestly almost cried. It was like I was being tortured. Now my fingers are jacked! She filed some of my nails so much they hurt to touch. Now I'm still a decent person, so I pay for my pedi, tip my pedicurist, and tip the woman who attempted to do my nails, for her time. My bf was mad so he called the next day and spoke to Ken, the manager. Now I thought he didn't know who I was because I hadn't been there in a while. But he told my bf I've been a customer for a long time. So he knew exactly who I was and didn't offer a discount or anything to make up for my wasted time and my jacked hands. If had done that I would return. But he lost my business for good. I'm over the pushy employees and lack of modern nail techniques. This place is outdated, and overstaffed with piss poor nail techs. I am so disappointment by the work I just had done here. I got a regular manicure, with basic color. I asked the lady to only cut my nails a little bit and she cut my nails so short! And the paint job is only decent. She didn't paint my nail all the way to the edge, left some nail polish on some of my fingers and did a real shitty job on my cuticles. Then I had my eyebrows waxed and the lady took off half of my one eye brow, they are uneven and she left wax on my face! I am furious! I will never step foot back in this place again! read more

This was our go to place for many years but everything we loved about this place is starting to slip due to its popularity. The staff are now rushed and do not spend anytime on the nails- it is a quick cut, file, and very little work on the cuticles. Hope you don't mind skin from others because to speed up removing calluses a battery operated machine is literally past from person to person without cleaning it in between. Don't pay for the spa pedi which use to include extra massage and hot rocks but since that takes time for hot rocks these have been eliminated making the spa pedi no different from the regular pedi. After nail service the staff always spent a minute giving neck massage now if you get 10 seconds you are lucky. Too bad management cannot figure out how to manager volume with the same service they use to give in the past. read more

The prices are very reasonable and they are good at what they do. Annie is a perfectionist and will make sure every nail is straight and even with the others. The spa pedicure is only $35 and it's a really nice treat. They give massages while nails are drying and offer a free paraffin treatment. Overall I'm really happy with this place. The only negative would be the small color selection. Because of this, I have to use a secondary salon, as I've already used most of their gel colors :( read more

One of the best places in the area for a pedicure. They give a great foot massage. I prefer walk-in appointments and sometimes you will wait a bit longer than what I would deem appropriate. Manicures are also well done here. Prices are reasonable and staff is pleasant. Wait time is the reason for not giving 5 stars.
