Unprofessional, liars & thieves. I ended up having to clean AFTER they were hired because they didn't do ANYTHING. The owner also verbally attacks anyone who shares their negative experience instead of owning their mistakes and bad business practices. And the owners claim that my mom refused the refund is a complete lie. Who would refuse a refund for a service that was never done by the people hired?!?! That doesn't even make sense. That's $450 wasted, while we still had to do ALLLLLL of the cleaning. Owner continues to PROVE what a dishonest business she runs in her response. read more

I've used the service of Top of the Class Clean twice in since March. I've been struggling with my health and the thought of walking into a dirty house and not having the strength or energy to clean it myself is daunting. Having the lovely ladies at TCC come in and make everything sparkle is definitely a mood boost! They tackled some dirty jobs that were long overdue, and didn't make me feel embarrassed or guilty for letting stuff go for so long. The absolute worst. And, I know the owner is going to reply and try to tear me apart. But, I hired them for a move out clean. I was open that the house wasn't in the best shape on the intake form(even parked the conditionas "poor"), but also informed the crew they sent out of areas not to worry about because the landlord was going to do repairs and renovations on. We also informed the crew there were a few items left after our move, and that we would be back the week after to pick them up. Was given a quote and, although hesitant about the price tag, we agreed and had 2 workers come out. We figured the high price meant good work. Just a few hours later, I received an email stating their workers felt the job would take longer than expected, and had left early. Reasons given were the same issues we told them to not worry about because the landlord had to come and fix. Got another email later saying they cancelled the job, but would be billing me for the whole time quoted. As we were out of town, our friend came by to take a walkthrough, and found the crew had left the house a pigsty. Piles from sweeping left in the middle of the floor, cleaning products left around, and only minimal cleaning noticed. When I reached out to the company, the owner replied and immediately began degrading my wife and me, and changing the terms of their "move out cleaning". She accused me of fraud because I hadn't changed the address with my bank yet, and as such had the billing address as the address we moved from (because, you know, it was the address the bank had), and of having one of the most "disgusting houses" her team had ever seen, despite leaving the house mostly clean besides the typical mess from moving and some things for the landlord to follow up on. Every email I sent to discuss the situation was met with rude remarks from the owner, and threats of collections if I was even 1 day past the payment due date. The following weekend, my wife and I returned to collect the remaining few items (maybe 2 small boxes and a Swiffer mop, and some frozen food our cooler wasn't big enough for the first trip). They billed us 4 hours for 2 trained cleaners to sit around and do nothing, but claim they cleaned 2 rooms. My wife and I (disabled and not professional cleaners) took 5 hours and cleaned the entire house, top to bottom, clean enough the landlord refunded the entire security deposit. Which, in the Springfield/Eugene area is a pretty hard feat. read more

I'm very disappointed in this company. Pam the owner was supposed to meet with me. I never showed called me an hour later. Rescheduled we went through everything in the house her cleaners were over an hour late. And then they did a really bad job I do not recommend this place. read more

Recommend against hiring. Workers came late in the day and requested to leave early because it was Halloween. I left for the evening and was out of cell phone range. The next morning I received a text (sent the night before) demanding that I meet the cleaners there at 830 to go over the work so they could finish up the final 1.5 hours. I was not close to town and could not accommodate them, despite having accommodated their request the night before. I anticipated after having already had cleaners in there for 2 hours, and being told they would come back for 1.5 hours in the morning, that the majority of cleaning would be done. Given that I was unable to meet them, I agreed to finish the job myself. When I arrived it appeared that very little had been done except the windows and glass, which were paid for separately. Surfaces and fans, which I specifically requested by cleaned, were not cleaned. Cupboards which I was told were cleaned, were not cleaned. Floors were not cleaned. There was hair in the shower. When I checked the windows, a specific area I'd requested, there was still loose dirt around the windows. Basically, it looked about the same as when I left it. I took pictures and requested to straighten the issues out but was treated rudely and no call was returned. I was charged for 5.5 hours of cleaning while I only received 4 hours of cleaning and can prove that based on phone call records. I was contacted a week later about why I hadn't paid the bill. Given that we'd been in contact via text or phone call, I'd expected a text or phone call in return to straighten out the issues, as I'd received a text saying they were going to straighten this out. Instead I was told it was straightened out via an email, which I never received. In my opinion this company has low integrity and does a poor job. Next time I'll take a look at the BBB web-site reviews before hiring! read more
