    a variety of doughnuts

Fantastic donuts and coffee!! They have a variety of fun flavors and all of them are so fresh. I always go for a classic vanilla iced - they are so delicious here! We also enjoyed raspberry glaze (a must!), original glazed, Bavarian cream, and raspberry filled. No wrong choice here. They taste as good as they look! Mostly street parking. There's indoor seating for those who want to hang out!

    Salted caramel old fashioned.

After trying the Top Pot Doughnuts offerings in the grocery stores around where I live, I decided to come to the Tacoma store to try the salted caramel old fashioned since I was in the area for the 2023 Pac-12 Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at King County Aquatic Center. The parking spaces around the store were full when I arrived, but after waiting a short while a spot opened up and I took it. The entrance was easy to find, doughnuts on display were labeled, and they had the salted caramel old fashioned I was looking for. Placing my order and payment was quick, the price with tax was $2.70. Eating the doughnut, it took a fews bits for the caramel flavor to saturate, and it did not become overpowering by the time I finished. The old fashioned cake was fluffy and not too crumbly.

Quaint donut and coffee shop perfectly located on the corner. Warm and welcoming customer service. There's a few tables to dine in with a beautiful street view to people watch while the sun shines through the glass walls of the shop. There's an amazing selection of hand crafted donuts in flavors that you wouldn't think of off hand. I ordered an Americano with steamed coconut milk and caramel drizzle. The Americano was smooth and delicious. As a coffee lover, I'd defiantly recommend trying this place!

Hands down our go to place for doughnuts. Being a NOC shift worker, always on the hunt for great early morning eats. There are not too many things that trump freshly glazed Krispy Kremes. However, there is a caveat. Like many things, there's a window of opportunity to enjoy them. Because these are made early in the morning, I personally wouldn't get them after 1100. Dont even bother at noon . However, if you can, order them as early as you can. With all the app delivery coupons, we tend to get these via delivery. As for specific ones, I haven't had one I disliked. We tend to divvy up singular ones into manageable bites so we can sample.

Mmm old fashioned pumpkin doughnut is here! That is all. Prepare to find street parking, free WiFi, water fountain available on the side. Lots of event posters up to take your family and children to! grateful for a place like this to study or meet up with friends. Seems like all their items are eco friendly. Way to go seattle! $20 for a dozen delicious doughnuts

I came in for a soy mocha and scone. My daughter had a doughnut. The coffee was really tasty and the pastries were also delicious. The reason for the four stars is because the pastries are a little on the pricey side. $3-4 for a donut. Otherwise, our service was great and we were happy with our food and beverage.

Great gluten free options! The staff are very kind and have great recommendations (I can never decide what to get haha) they are also very respectful of my service dog :)

The doughnut case at the Tacoma Top Pot.

Hooray! Top Pot now has a Tacoma location! That is great news! I have been to Top Pot in Seattle a couple of times. In the past truth be told I felt like some of their doughnuts were perhaps a bit inconsistent. Some of their doughnuts I enjoyed while others were just fair. At this location however I went here twice in one weekend! I went here on my own on a Saturday and came here again on Sunday with Steve. Both times I really liked what I selected here. They were cake doughnuts with sugar on top which proved to be very enjoyable! One of the days here I got a small Chai tea which was good as well. The place can get pretty busy and a significant line can develop. It is most likely to occur on Saturdays when the Farmer's Market is going on here but on the Sunday we went here it our order was quite speedy!

Best coffee in the neighborhood, specifically the best lattes. Kinda pricey but worth the splurge.

It was good to have this shop during my conference, which took place at the university, especially in between different sessions. Diversions Cafe primarily serves the students here - and I was impressed that they serve Caffe Vita coffee, which is my favorite coffee. When the coffee is this good, a drip coffee is all you need, which I drank a ton of during my conference. But they have a full coffee and espresso menu and they also have Lotus Elixir energy drinks here. The pastries are few, but there's something if you need to nibble. I like that there's plenty of space if you want to hang out with your coffee, which I imagine is perfect if you're a student. It's centrally located on campus too and opens early. I was glad to have this caffeinated option on campus during my time here.

But no! I am very pleased where they built the coffee restaurant where you don't stand out amongst the crowds, and when you leave, you're able to just leave kind of towards the back away from the chaos. 5 stars!! I used to visit the Sacramento location, so it was a nice surprise seeing one nearby. My review is mainly for the desserts since I still haven't tried the coffee yet (though I'm sure it's probably great too since they're known for their Yemeni coffee). The menu seems very similar to the Sacramento location, but I'm giving 4 stars because they don't carry the one dessert I've been seriously craving: Turkish delight! The Sacramento location has it and I was definitely hoping to grab some here but I didn't see any on display or on the menu :( The milk cakes were thankfully just as good and super consistent between locations. We ordered the pistachio milk cake and the caramel milk cake (different pricing, depending on flavor probably). Both were incredibly moist, flavorful, and just really delicious. If you've never tried the milk cakes here, I definitely recommend them. They taste high quality, for sure, and a perfect treat for a sweet tooth. I had my husband try one for the first time since he likes caramel, and he immediately said it tasted so fancy he felt like he should be sticking his pinky out while eating it lol. I told him it *is* around $10 a slice, after all. We stopped by on a weekday afternoon and the parking lot was busy and the café itself was packed, so it definitely seems like a popular spot. They also have a points rewards program you can sign up for with just your phone number. I'll definitely be back for sweets again.
