This is my go to place for Uhaul rentals. Kind considerate staff, and they always seem to have trucks available when I need them unlike a lot of other locations. I can't speak for their automotive department, since I haven't used them for that , but if it's as good as the Uhaul department, it would be excellent! Had problems with what felt like a fuel system problem, possibly clogged fuel filter or fuel injection system, halfway through a long trip from the Bay Area to Menifee. I surely wasn't going to chance a breakdown on I5 on my return trip. My daughter recommended Top Tech as she said they do good work, and I'm glad she did. Not only did they pinpoint the problem, they did not try to upsell as a dealer would. I checked online what a typical charge would be and found the repair was competitively priced. Turns out the problem was with crank shaft position sensor. My 400+ mile trip back home went smoothly without incident. Kudos to Les and Matt on honesty and great customer service. read more

My ford fusion recently failed its smog check due to several code faults. I brought my car in here and they replaced my O2 sensor within about 2 hours or so and it wasn't too much over than what the part cost, so it was a good value. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF!!! Will never recommend to anyone.Should of read reviews not only star grading. Most reviews are for smogs.Brought truck in for A/ C not blowing cold air on 11/23/24. According to Joseph after diagnostic from their machine it only needed air cond refrigerant and no leaks were found Paid $478.98. Air blowing felt cool for just 1 day. Was Thanksgiving week so kids off for whole week went out of town did not use truck again until 12/1. Truck was blowing warm air, came in on 12/2 and were told to bring on 12/3 @8am was told they would inspect A/C. Called at 430 were told they didn't get to it. On 12/4 was told their machine is not working and needs to reboot. Truck there for 4 days and still not getting updates and when we called on 12/6 still diagnostic machine not working. We asked for refund and Joseph refused to give back even after his new machine failed to give correct diagnostic for leak. Joseph said they would have technician in on Monday to repair machine cause it's a new machine and they need help getting walked through it. Pick up truck on 12/6 so it wouldn't sit over weekend was told they would call us on Monday 12/09 but they didn't we came in on 12/10, We are getting run around supposedly machine still not working that it will take 2 weeks to repair.I told him I believe his machine never worked from the get go they must of just added freon of course he denied.We told him we were taking to dealer to get diagnostic because we can't continue to drive with kids in it, air blowing in is hot. Took to dealer paid $250 for diagnostic within 2hrs we got call that we have a leak on condenser that has been there FOR AWHILE and low on refrigerant. Dealer has photos and videos of work being performed which they send to us. Went ahead and had them fixed. I can not trust Top Tech to repair since they have not fixed problem since 11/23 and same excuse. Came to shop today 12/16 still never received call from them. Showed him what dealer found with paperwork in hand paid $1287 to dealer that did fix and found what was wrong. Joseph still did not refund our money even after his machine failed to diagnose the leak. He said we should of brought back and had repairs done at his shop but how if his machine still doesn't work.So basically my kids and self have to suffer in a hot vehicle . That's why we had brought to him in the first place not to just add freon. He still had the audacity to say bring it back for any other repair and he would... but I cut him off by saying We will never bring back or recommend and told him I wish I had read all reviews because he is a rip off before I brought here ,he said he has no bad reviews. I told him I read them too late and regret it and I will print the bad reviews and bring them to him, good reviews are mostly for smogs. This place sucks! They overcharge for the little work they do. They charged me 300$ to get my turning signal lights fixed and all they did was change out the lightbulbs. Now my left turning signal is out again and they don't want to cover the warranty and are telling me it's going to be another diagnosing fee and all this other bull crap. Took my car here on a recommendation from a guy behind me in line at the dealer. The dealer didn't have a reasonable time frame so I figured this shop could help me with my issues. They were nice people, unfortunately I paid almost $800 and the issue wasn't resolved. My car was having power issues and I was told the coils and spark plugs needed replacing, but I may also need a valve job too (which was quoted around $2,000). They said I should be ok with just the coils and plugs though. The owner did follow up, which I appreciate, but I had yet to really drive my car to see if it was resolved. After another mechanic also misdiagnosed my car, I finally went to someone who resolved my issue and now my car is running great. read more

We took our truck to Top Tech Auto to have the transmission rebuilt. It broke down 4 times and they fixed it incorrectly 3 times. The fourth time they refused to fix it because they said it was out of warranty even though they only worked on the vehicle for a total of 6 months. Realizing they were completely uninterested in fixing this, we contacted the Bureau of Automotive Repair before filing a claim. BAR agreed there were problems with the warranty. We appreciate Temecula Transmission who stepped up for us. They fixed problems and pointed out what had been done incorrectly. They even offered to go to court with us. After going to small claims and winning, they still refuse to pay. As an older couple on a fixed income, we find it difficult to believe they will not accept responsibility and pay us. Always go out of their way to help. I have went in with what I thought were major problems and ready to hear a price that was going to be out of control. I went to two other places and they read the code, went to the books to check labor price and then parts. It was well over 800 each place but here when I told them and showed other estimates I was told something very surprising. I was told "let me check something" I was like just fix it I am tired of running around. They once again said "hold on" took my vehicle back, we're gone about 20 minutes. Came back with what I thought was going to be an estimate but it was a 40 dollar invoice and I was told it's fixed. Ended up they know their stuff and replaced a 6 dollar copper pin took 20min and it was fixed. This is taking care of customers at its finest, that could have very easily went off the other shops quotes and fixed all the other stuff but instead just got me in and out. Very happy. read more

Joe, Mike, and their dad at Top Tech Automotive and Sons, exceeded mine and my boyfriend, Jeff's, expectations in repairing my Honda Accord. I had just got off work in Temecula, and something was seriously wrong with my rear passenger tire. It was slanted outward at the bottom, could be moved manually 2-3 inches, and looked like it is going to fall off, like the axel or arm shaft broke for the tire. It was not safe to drive, it was after shop hours, the mechanic I have used and trusted for the last 20 years had just retired, and I needed to find an auto shop who could fix it the next day, as I need my car to commute to work. My boyfriend and I decided to take it to Top Tech Automative and Sons', since it is near our home, and my car was unsafe to drive a long distance. We just hoped for the best possible outcome, that the auto shop would do a good job repairing my car, would be honest and affordable, have a quick turn around time, and good custmer service. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience at Top Tech Automotive and Sons in repairing my car, or asked for better service. It turned out that a screw had just fallen out of the arm shaft for the back rear passenger tire, and that it was the only thing that needed to be replaced, in order to repair my car. Which Top Tech Automotive and Sons replaced for me within a few minutes and free of charge. They did not even try to up-sale anything else that we didn't need repaired for my car, either. Which I greatly appreciated their honesty, ethics, and kindness, and them not trying to charge me an absurd amount to replace a screw that had fallen out on the arm shaft of my car, and them actually caring for their customer. Therefore, wanting to give them my business after this great experience I had with them, I knew I needed new breaks and rotors, and asked them, if they would be able to do so that day, since my car was already at their shop. Which they had no problem doing and were more than happy to do. They ordered the parts, and said, my car would be ready for pickup with the new breaks and rotors installed by 5pm, which was in a few hours. Unfortunately, however, my boyfriend's truck wasn't available for use, in order for me to pick him up from the auto shop, so Mike actually offered and gave him a ride back to our house, so he wouldn't have to wait at the shop for 3 hours for my car to be completed, which was great customer service, exceeded expectations, and was very thoughtful and nice of him to do. Later that day, we picked up my car when it was finished being repaired, and my car was running perfectly, with no tire or break issues, and we couldn't have been happier. We had such a great experience with Top Tech Automotive and Sons that we will continue to bring all our vehicles here in the future, and we can do so, with trust and confidence, after such an amazing first experience with them. My family took our RV to Top Tech to be repaired. This review is a warning. From the start, we were given the run-around from the owner about the issue, prognosis, and repair cost. Not only did Top Tech fail to fix the issue, they took our hard earned money while doing so. In the end, they put the wrong part in .......Lastly, they told us that another part was broken on our motorhome.... funny enough that part was brand new. Once again they were trying to take our money. After many conversations, poor communication, lies, unprofessionalism, embarrassing work ethic and excuses coming from Top Tech....we went with a AMAZING Moblie mechanic for a second opinion. He found that Top tech put in a used part and it was installed incorrectly. Instead of just being honest with the customer they decided to ruin their reputation. Amazing and excellent service! We were visiting from out of town, when the battery in our Mini Cooper died. We were scheduled to return home the next day. So, with 2 hours notice (during a rainstorm) Joseph "fit us in" and replaced our battery at a very reasonable price. NEVER go to these guys! had them install an engine. They lied and told me it was a rebuilt engine.. it was not. they lied about time frames for the job. After several weeks, I picked it up and it broke down. Had to call in BAR California Department of Auto Repair. The field agent came over and said "don't drive this car". Our 2013 Dodge Caravan broke down on our way to visit my brother & family. We live in Seaside, Ca about 7 hours away. After getting it towed from an hour away we were able to get it to Joseph and his crew on Saturday morning and by 2pm in afternoon they were done and confidently called that our van was ready. October 12th I requested my car be checked to see if it would pass a smog test. I signed an invoice which read $65 for diagnostic test but was told I didn't need a diagnostic test. Later that day I was charged $125 due to Joe stating his son, Mike drove my car to San Bernardino and back with my gas and told me my car STILL wouldn't pass a smog test due to an explanation of needing my car computer reset due to a new battery I replaced months ago and I've driven way more then 55 miles. I think I was taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge on vehicle mechanics, as a woman. read more
