Its refreshing as a single woman to not be taken advantage of when it comes to repairs on your vehicle. Today i got my car smogged and everything ran smoothly. I made an appointment which really helps. They have a warm sitting area with wifi and complimentary coffee and water. Conveniently located off of Rough and Ready Highway in Grass Valley ( across from the cemetery). KAILA waited on me and she was friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience as usual! Professional, Knowledgeable, Friendly & Honest .. My 2009 Sienna's windshield fluid spray system stopped working. And I wanted to get it fixed asap. They were able to squeeze me in, said it would probably be an hour job and would likely require a $200 part. Well .. they were able to fix it with $90 in parts, and only charged for a half-hour labor. Plus .. they're REALLY NICE PEOPLE. Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend this place. I'll be coming back to them for general maintenance and future repairs my Toyota needs. read more

Took my truck in to have a "check engine" light diagnosed but the truck was running fine. INTENTIONALLY misdiagnosed my check engine light as a timing chain issue and tried to saddle me with a 7,000 dollar engine replacement. My vehicle was returned to me with the horrendous estimate and I left the shop. 1 mile down the road my brakes went out completely as I slid to a stop about 15 feet from a steep embankment that would have surely injured me or worse had IU gone over the edge. I popped the hood and found that TOP TECH had returned my vehicle to me with THE BRAKE BOOSTER DISCONNECTED (could have killed me)...AN EGR MODULE DISCONNECTED and the MAF SENSOR ENCASEMENT WIDE OPEN. i reconnected everything and barely made it home as the truck was now struggling to make even 5 MPH. When I got home I ran a diagnostic with my code reader and found that the codes that were there when I brought the truck in to TOP TECH were cleared and there was a new code I had NEVER SEEN OR HAD BEFORE I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE TO TOP TECH. This was a P0206 open cylinder code referring to a short in the fuel injector wiring (or bad injector) on cylinder 6. I knew the injector wasn't bad because they were brand new so I bought a new set of pigtails connectors for 10 DOLLARS and wired them in myself and BOOYAH! Check engine light went off and the truck now runs fine and passed smog. NO 7000 DOLLAR ENGINE REPLACEMENT and I didn't die. I don't know what's going on in Dennis's life that would have him intentionally pull this kind of crap but he had better get a handle on the CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE before it gets a HANDLE ON HIM. read more

I had a pre-purchase vehicle inspection here for $140. The mechanics did a thorough one hour inspection even down to finding a nail in one of the tires! (No compression test) This inspection gave me the knowledge I needed to make a clear decision about the vehicle of interest. I would definitely utilize their services again. They are honest, gave me their opinion on whether it would be a sound purchase and provided estimates for the work that the vehicle would need. My wife and I came up to Nevada City from San Francisco to house sit for friends and started to experience brake problems. The rain was coming, and my windshield wiper was broken. I could not for the life of me figure out what was wrong, and it was dangerous even in a drizzle.
