Weeks later and lots of searching and questions later and decided to work with Brian @ Soundline Construction. Called up and asked if I come up with 1/2 the money would he start the job. Brian then when into a long drawn out speech about how "he has been screwed in the past and now he wants 90% up front". I told him that was not what he originally ask for. He agreed but changed him mind! In short, the rest of the conversation was basically saying how he has "worked with people like me before and he thinks that I will not pay him and not pay the rest money" Instead of getting pissing back on the phone I simply stated how he is the one that is going back on his word.
