I am going to split this review into two. The work done was excellent and no complaints there. The 2 stars are for their billing practice. I was charged almost 2.5 hours more than the work done on my home. I was told the clock starts when they leave their office and ends when they stop it at the end of the day. Being a new home owner i thought it was standard practice. Multiple other companies and handymen have told me this is not the case. So I was basically defrauded. I would not recommend them solely for that reason. Its a pity because from a work point of view they were really good. read more

TL/DR: These guys are complete flakes and will disappear, leaving you with unfinished work They came to my house to repair a leaky tub as well as repaint all the bathrooms. They only had 4 hours scheduled for me, so started the job...and apparently forgot about finishing it. I had also asked them to work on a house we are prepping for sale - discussed both timing and what needed to be done with the team in person and followed up with emails to the office...and nothing. Never showed, never followed up, nothing. So at the end of the day I paid $400 for a couple bucks worth of caulk and a some spackle on the walls, tasks that should have taken an hour max. I should add they insist on cash payments and provide no paperwork - not shady at all! This review is based solely on my interaction during the bidding/price quote process and not on work actually done. To set things up, I needed work done on my deck, which was basically a single post replacement and two rails on my deck due to rot. Would do it myself, but just don't have the time so I decided on looking into Yelp for help. First tried decking companies, but most said the job was too small. So moved on to Handymen and one of the responses came from Task Logic. I looked up the reviews and with 5 stars and all the reviews so positive they were definitely being considered. Nadia, gave a price of $100/hr. I figure not too bad as opposed to other bids I got. So I follow up with with some questions, first being how long the job her two tech's would take and additional cost for materials based on the photos I included with my bid/quote request. Now keeping in mind I've already spoken with deck companies and other handymen and can do this job myself, Nadia from Task Logic responds with an estimate of "up to $1000 for labor and $250 for materials. So she's telling me her TWO techs might take up to 10 hours to replace one deck post and two rails? More than one handyman gave me an estimated time of 3-4 hours. As for materials, I already priced the materials out. A single deck post is anywhere from $20-40 and the rail replacements for two 1" x 3.5" x 8' is $8-$12 each. You do the math, but it's not close to $250.00. Now I'm just confused because all the reviews talk of how fast and efficient the work of the techs are, how they finish multiple tasks at one job in 3.5 hours to half a day! Yet one deck post and two tails might take two techs 10 hours? So bottom line, whether she was trying to play on my ignorance or what, my suggestion would be to do your own research. You may not know how to do something, the reason you might hire a handyman, but that doesn't mean you should be ignorant of the details and not be afraid to ask questions. If I didn't know any better my deck would be worked on....in July....and I'd be out $1250 which doesn't include tax. Instead I'm gonna keep looking for a honest handyman, or find time to do it myself, 3 to 4 hours of my time and maybe $60.00. Or I guess that's just the price you pay for having someone else do the work, but I think of much better things to spend the $1190 on. read more

Sasha and crew just completed a repair job in my Bothell home. I couldn't be more pleased. Working with Sasha and Task Logic has been completely hassle free. We approved the quote and he commenced on schedule. The work was completed on time and the quality perfect. In my case I had ant infestation with significant wood damage to framing. He had to determine the extent of the damage, replace structural 2x4s, and create junction boxes for the electrical lines that ran through the infested area. The exterior cladding had to be removed and repairs done to the substrate. Exterior and interior paint had to be matched and this was done to perfection. I'm glad I selected Task Logic and I will gladly call them again. So much so that I would question any negative comments. In my estimation this company is easy to work with and it doesn't get much better. read more

They did some much-needed repairs to cracks in our 30-year-old stucco exteriors, did some touch-up painting, repainted our Gaco roofs and decks, and made sure our downspouts and drains were clear. We also wanted them to replace a wooden deck in front of one of our units, but they suggested that replacing it with a concrete slab would be a better and less costly option. We appreciated that. Nandia is easy to communicate with to go over scheduling dates and what is needed to repair. Sasha and his partner come out to do the work and they do an excellent job! They're hard workers, but they're also friendly, polite and efficient. They've fixed doors that couldn't shut all the way, holes in ceilings and walls, shifting floor boards, you name it. Their lead technician, Sasha, came out at the appointed time to measure the house and get the details of what parts need to be painted which color and then followed up with a professional, detailed quote that was very reasonable and competitive with the 2 other painters I checked with. Their crew are absolute craftspeople, too! That's what really gets them the 5 star review in my opinion. During power washing, they really kept a keen eye on ensuring everything was prepped for painting. Similarly, the crew came back for another day of prep work (caulking windows and nail holes, etc.) before the actual painting the following day.
