This place is a great, hole-in-the-wall gem! My mom & I were trying to find the Brave DVD for Mothers Day & could not find it anywhere, not on Tevo, Kmart, & all other rental stores are closed down! The owner has been in San Gabriel over 30 years, wonderful guy, rentals only $2. read more

Awesome local video store. Mike is great. The $2 fee per day is very reasonable. Go up to him to find the video you want and he's more than happy to help you out. He's got a great selection and has a very friendly demeanor all the time. Great customer service and expansive movie selection. I usually find what I need whenever I go in. He's got older movies but is also up to date with newer releases. Definitely one of my favorite places to go to rent a DVD for movie night. Sign out front says they're selling DVDs now too. read more

I love that Top Video allows me the pleasure to go in and rent a movie like the good old days. We as a race need to try and preserve human contact instead of being fat and lazy and ordering movies from a cable station, it the act of being able to go with your kids, boyfriend or husband and look around a video store for a movie and talk to the person renting you the movie and asking his opinion, i love it , its a great experience and one we should preserve.. read more

We have been coming to Mike for years! I absolutely love coming here and renting movies like the good old days! Call me old fashion, but we absolutely love the experience of renting movies and having a movie night with our kids. Movies are always something to look forward to after a long day at work. He has every movie you can think of and his reviews on movies are always extremely helpful. read more

Yes, video stores are old school and they are going extinct, but this place rocks! Great selection of foreign and new releases, stuff RedBox or Netflix don't have. Rentals are around $2 and Mike is fantastic, providing great customer service you just don't get from a machine. You owe it to yourself to check this place out. read more

***MOVED*** their new address is 1052 E. Las Tunas Dr. Its not far from their old place in the shopping center. Between Walnut Grove and Willard Ave. Lots to choose from. Good price! Definitely recommend. :) read more

As one of the oldest independent bookstores in California, it has a really special charm. Inside, there's a wine bar, a coffee shop, and even a cute gift shop upstairs, which makes it easy to spend a lot of time browsing and relaxing. While I was there, I got to listen to an author present her book and answer questions, which added such a unique and memorable touch to the visit. The store was busy, and you could really feel how much people enjoyed being there. The layout is well organized, making it easy to find books by genre. Upstairs, there's a spacious children's section, which is great for families. I also loved the section featuring Orson Welles books and posters. It was a really cool and unexpected addition. Overall, Vroman's is more than just a bookstore as it's an experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
