No Ka 'Oi Jewelers is truly the best place on Maui for jewelry repair…read more I brought in a deeply sentimental necklace that had belonged to my late father and needed a new clasp. The owners, a wonderful husband-and-wife team, were incredibly kind, attentive, and reassuring. They promised to handle the piece with great care, and they absolutely delivered. I also brought in a few other items for repair, and they went above and beyond to bring my vision to life with precision and artistry. One of the repairs required extra attention, and I appreciated how the shop kept me updated throughout the process and called as soon as everything was ready. Their craftsmanship, communication, and genuine care make them a rare find. I have complete trust in this locally owned business and will be returning for all future jewelry repairs, knife cleaning, and of course, new pieces as well. Everything they do is done with such love and intention. Highly recommend--thank you both for your kindness, skill, and exceptional service.

Not everyone does not have a robust personality I get it but damn this guy barely said anything. I guess he didn't think I could afford after sizing me up. WRONG he was, cause in my hotel safe was a Diamond Crusted Day Date & yellow gold Daytona Paul Newman dial on OysterFlex band. I was just so exhausted from my day at Cabana to open safe to wear one for dinner. It's the common theme of this shop not to sell anything. I'm not a look kinda guy, I'm I'll take it now Rolex gentleman so at least ask questions to make me feel like you're interested. Oh he said we could purchase used CPO watches but I chuckled cause I know those are so highly marketed up it's not worth it. Maybe if you're interested in moving items you'd drop things down to reflect current market value... But hey what do I know I'm only the customer. Having been in this store at least 25 times over the years I've never once been asked what I'm looking for nor have I been offered a Rollie to end my trip... Anyways I'll keep hope alive when shopping in Maui @ Baron & Leeds!

I was informed that in last few years, there has been a serious shortage of Rolex stainless steel sport watches. Of the five Rolex authorized dealers in Hawaii, Cheryl at the Baron & Leeds location in Maui stayed in contact with me over the last three and a half months about my request. She contacted me about a month ago and informed me that a stainless Submariner without date would be available but I was holding out for one with the date function. Much to my surprise, while I was on vacation in Belize, I received a text message from her notifying me that one had become available. I responded immediately that I wanted it and would be returning in a few days and could pick it up. She charged my credit card and a few days later I flew to Maui to pick up my brand new Rolex watch. At the store, she greeted me warmly and we celebrated my purchase over a glass of champagne. She fit the watch and explained it's functions and informed me about other watches and promotions that Baron & Leeds has. I hope she is able to acquire my other requests soon. Thank you so much you Cheryl! I'm looking forward to seeing you again soon! Strongly recommend!

Filled with all types of 'beach life' kind of trinkets, little antiquey kind of home decor artifacts, plaques, jewelry, even had some kids and baby clothing, shawls, etc etc etc. It would be impossible to capture all that was going on in this tiny shop. Most of it was pretty expensive, they had some amazing reclaimed wood picture frames that I just loved, in shades of blue and green but I was seriously not going to be shelling out $90-100 for a frame that I'd have to lug home dammit. But they also had some small fun stuff that was easily packable and didn't break the bank. I left with a cool handmade Hawaiian 'baby neck positioner' so that our kid's contorted sleeping positions while in the stroller wouldn't give him neckal tunnel, and a few pairs of handmade earrings for my Mom and sister. We always visit and support the local shops here during our hour wait for Monkeypod, Quality/Quantity - Okay, we like to support the local businesses, but after finding out we paid 3 times the price versus the other tourist locations at Front Street, Lahaina, or Kihei, it knocked the wind out of us. Atmosphere - Small local business. North, their dog is the best. He came by and hung out with us. North just walks around the mall, everyone knows and likes North, see picture. Service - 2 stars, very aggressive sales techniques; not necessary resulting in a positive result. Owner seems friendly, until he starts "selling". Selling, not in an unfriendly way, but way too aggressive after we said we were not interested in another piece. See Lahaina Gems Yelp, where an aggressive salesperson can still make a customer leave feeling positive. Price - $15, we have no problem supporting and paying extra at local businesses; but not when all other locations sell the exact same item for only $4-$5... If I knew that, I would have suggested my wife NOT to buy it. She still may have though, LOL. Owner Comment - I suggest working on a better sales technique... Owner says this is a new location for him, so I almost feel bad writing this review. I believe suggestive selling works, but do not push or overly pressure customers because it can have the opposite intended effect. I think we also bought something from him last year...? Because I remember North as the best temperamental dog!
