Whatever, I decided on a "margarita" which ended up being strawberry wine and a lime. Umm... that's NOT a margarita. Yes, I know this isn't a bar but my thoughts are: If you are going to offer a drink, make it with the correct ingredients and/or have what you offer in the fridge. Good thing I brought my own drink, not an alcoholic beverage but 100% better than what they offered. You get what you pay for I suppose, lol. Moving on to the pedicure... They have an outstanding color selection for solid colors, jelly, design and glitter colors in both standard nail polish and gel polish. (Best color selection I've ever seen!) An older guy walked in from the back, sat at the foot of the chair I was in, said hello and did his best to ask what color I chose. He didn't speak English at all but he tried so, 'A' for effort. I chose a Classic Pedicure, and he did a decent job. He didn't make any conversation since well... he couldn't because of the language barrier. I didn't mind, I chatted with my friend, zoned out and scrolled my phone. I don't have any complaints, he gave me a basic pedicure which was all I wanted. I trimmed my nails directly before going in because I don't like when the techs cut them since often times they cut them into a shape that I don't like. I asked for "no cut, only file and cuticle removal" so that's what he did along with the massage and painting my nails. I will definitely be visiting this place again, but I'll choose the guy that did my friends nails. I thought hers paint job looked better and her nail tech spoke English so that was a plus. Overall a good experience, just make sure to bring your own drink unless all you want is water or white wine since that's what they seem to have an abundance of.

Apparently the $68 "fill" didn't include a cuticle trim even though I specifically asked for it when I checked in. The chair I was sat in was tiny! I'm a medium sized woman but I had to squeeze my butt into that seat. I even expressed my discomfort and was shrugged off (literally). No one, from front of house to the nail tech were remotely friendly. There are many other nail salons in Chico that give much better service, so that's where I'll be going in the future.

Yesterday, I was looking over my bank statement and realized I was charged a final payment of $96.70. I called the shop today and spoke with the daughter whom said that they "thought" I wanted to leave a $10 tip and so they added the additional charge to my bill. I said, "No, I left a flat $95 on purpose"! She then asked if I wanted them to Venmo me the money or we could pick up the difference in cash (which is what we opted for). We will not be going back! If I can't trust them to run the payment as specified, I just won't be supporting their business. Please be aware when paying by card and double check the final billed amount.
