Just a few hours after posting my original story below, we received a call from them, and they did everything possible to make things right. Fausto came to our home, inspected the entire job, and created templates based on our existing countertops. We then visited their brand-new, spacious showroom--filled with beautiful items--and discussed our options with Andrea. They were wonderful and genuinely wanted us to be happy. We selected the perfect marble slab, and the replacement installation was completed within the week. We are so delighted with our new countertops that I couldn't wait to share the news. All of our issues were fully resolved, and we received many heartfelt apologies from the team. Our perfect kitchen is finally complete. I will recommend this company to everyone. Five out of five stars! Even after all that time had passed, they stood by their work and made sure we were happy. ================== =============== These guys were great until they installed the product. The countertops were not the same ones from the shop where we picked them out. They were somehow weather beaten or something as there were marks everywhere that made them look like they were ten years old and totally abused. Yet they were brand new and not cheap. All requests to have them come to try to clean them in place were stalling tactics. People who were going to help (who said it would be no problem to clean) never showed up and eventually we were told they no longer work there. No one seemed to care anymore. In the end our dream kitchen looks pretty shabby and at a huge cost.

I ended up buying caulk to seal the sink. Paid $7000 for a pain job that let tape seams showing. Painted a hurricane door that took me days to scrape off. Bruises on bathroom vanity from install. Called asked for color markers to fix. They said they weren't available. Broke one of my hanging lights in my kitchen. Reply was could not fix. I took it down and had my lighting place fix it. There are other issues that I can go on about but it would take too long. Over hundred thousand dollars and I feel they could have done a better job.

Summary - I contracted with Lake Worth Custom Cabinetry (LWCC) to do kitchen and bathroom cabinetry…read morefor a renovation of a small cottage in Lake Worth Beach. Everything started out wonderfully, but then the relationship went steeply downhill. LWCC signed a detailed contract, but later demanded additional payment for items included in that contract. They demanded early payment, and then walked off the job without completion. Additionally, there were issues with the quality of their work. The contract I signed with LWCC in February 2021 specified four payments: 50% before work began, 25% when cabinet boxes were completed, and the remaining 25% when all work was completed. In July 2021, they walked off the job without completing the work and demanded the bulk of the final payment before finishing. As I needed the work done in order to receive a certificate of occupancy, I complied. In February of 2022, I reached out requesting they complete the work. They declined and said they had lost a significant amount of money on the job. As they determined the contract price, required I pay more for items already included in the contract, and did not complete the work, I do not see how this could be true. Work never completed, though specified in eight pages of drawings which were included in the contract: 1. A pull out under the kitchen sink for the trash cans - This work was never done. LWCC said trash cans would not fit due to plumbing. But I may have the plumbing changed. So that is irrelevant to the fact that the work was not completed, despite repeated requests. 2. Installation of a "Magic Corner" cabinet accessory - The Magic Corner was included in the contract, but LWCC said I would have to pay for it. I did. However, they did not install it correctly and did not put a door on that cabinet. I am therefore left with a nonfunctional accessory and a gaping hole in my cabinetry. 3. A 33-inch kitchen sink - even though the drawings specified a 33-inch sink, I had to pay a change fee to have it installed. Quality issues include, I have pictures for anyone who is interested: 1. One cabinet had eight highly visible screws within 2 square inches. 2. One cabinet had four highly visible screws holes within 1 square inches. 3. Scuff marks and scratches on one cabinet door. 4. Shelving in pantry was not professionally installed. LWCC built an insert that sits in the cabinet. While it works, it is an obvious after the fact addition.

Ozzy and Maya's design center was very appealing with a wide selection of high end tile, countertop, cabinet, hardware samples, etc. They proudly shared videos of recently completed projects and spoke about the importance of workmanship, quality and detail that is instilled in their workers. Ozzy and Maya listened carefully to us, made suggestions and then provided us with illustrations incorporating his creative vision. Needless to say, we went no further in our search. Renovision K&B held to every commitment, provided the best materials and the tradesmen were truly crafted and dedicated. We could not be happier with our renovation. We were promised, on several occasions, C-Tek (Made in Italy) sinks for both bathrooms and kitchen but received (Made in China) inferior product. When we questioned the changed the manager insisted that it was the same quality and started referring to the discounts we received on the granite tops. During all our meetings the manager kept talking about how C-Tek was the best quality made products. Now that we found out they installed something else, it's now the same quality as the Made in China product. The kitchen sink surface is awful and we requested that their distributor contact us. Were still waiting! Also, when they measured for the kitchen counter tops the estimator included 2 seams indicating that is was a requirement. After complaining they agree to eliminate the seams. The piece was so small it did not require any seams but they try to save more granite for themselves. In summary they do not deliver what was promised and then try to cut corners by adding more seams in the granite counter tops.
