This place is crazy! So much to choose from! My partner and I are all set with things to try. Great customer service. Lacking a bit in the soju section, but they had all the whisky my partner was looking for.

Hands down the best craft beer store in town! Is it fancy? No, and thank goodness! It's no frills, keep the price reasonable, and have a killer selection kind of store!!! Keep up the good work, thanks for always having bourbon barrel age imperial stouts in stock!

Really nice sales associates, they have just about every kind of liquor you want. A little cramped inside but how they treat you is ok for the size. Came to get the baileys for shamrock day. Drink responsibly everyone!

We were staying in Tempe for the night after doing some local stuff in Phoenix/Mesa area. We got in around 4 and I just wanted to get some beers and sit by the pool and enjoy the almost-too-cool weather. I did some Googling and Yelping and found that Tops was my choice for local craft beer. At that point in the day, nothing was more important. I drove the 3 miles from the hotel to the store and was very happy I did so. All of the beer selections were to the right, and they were many and varied. I was looking for some local selections and found a cooler in the back that had everything I needed and wanted. I settled on some San Tan, Huss Brewing, and Lumberyard selections for the locals with Four Peaks as another solid selection. I was also looking for a local sour beer and the store associated were able to help me with that. They walked me right to the beers in the cooler. Prices were fair and service was great.

Getting the necessities for the beach!

Great place, very large selection, knowledgeable employees. Probably the best variety in all of Arizona, especially for hard to find items.

A weary traveler arrives and sits down at his favorite bar--Bottleshop48, located at 3318 S McClintock Dr, Tempe, AZ 85282, in the Aldi shopping center. He orders a crisp glass of Bottleshop Water, known to the regulars simply as "water," and rests for a moment as a film begins to play on the main TV. Brad and Angelina appear. It is Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the acclaimed 2005 action/comedy. A small tear rolls down his face; finally, he will be able to enjoy Mr. and Mrs. Smith from start to finish. Finally, his life will have meaning beyond the crude dionysian pursuit of wine, women, and song. Today, he thinks: "my suffering will end: I am free from the banality of the world outside, with a full 2 hours of action/comedy to enjoy, cold drink in hand, hale companions to my left and to my right." But this man was mistaken. Instead a challenger appears--a man from the wrong side of the tracks, a man bent on ruining our hero's uninterrupted viewing of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Shockingly this newcomer requests the TV remote. He brazenly downloads the Sling Freestream app on the TV. He scrolls through the Sling Freestream app's numerous free ad-supported options and chooses--impossibly--Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the 1975 comedic send-up of the grim circumstances of the Middle Ages as told through the story of King Arthur and framed by a modern-day murder investigation. Our hero protests meekly, in earnest: "but I was watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith." "Oh sorry," the upstart pretender responds, surprised that someone would be so interested in seeing the end of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Does our hero challenge this cruel usurper to fisticuffs for the TV remote? No. Does he chuck a beer at this sadistic lover of classic British humor? No. Does he strip naked and dance atop the bar in a lewd manner to assert his dominance over the TV? He does not. A man of peace--a true lover not a fighter and a known Ryan Gosling look-alike--our hero grits his teeth and accepts the excruciating truth that he will see no more of Brad and Angelina on this night. He simply pays his tab and exits into the freezing late April air, never to know true happiness. Never to experience complete extasy. Never to see the end of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Anyway as I was exploring, I saw the Total wine store and having had good experience with the one in San diego, I decided to stop by and see if they had Greek Retsina which is hard to find. They didn't have it and it was a dollar more than I had paid in San Diego but I think I got us sale price there. I remember years ago I used to be able to buy a gallon of it at a local Greek market for $5 but those days are gone. It was $12 for the one here so I bought it as a treat. The store was extremely neat and well laid out and a couple of employees I encountered were very helpful. I asked about lavender syrup and they had that. I asked about Ginger beer, the alcoholic kind, and they had that I happened on to a reasonably priced bottle of sangria so I got that and I've been out of beer forever so when I saw they had PBR for $10 or 12 pack I decided to go ahead and get it.
