Saw this place on Dave Portnoys channel and wanted to stop in and I was NOT disappointed. To start you walk in and there is this super cool liquor store that's amazing with all sorts of liquor and cool stuff all around and then a bar and pizza joint over to the right. I got sat, nice waiter recommended a beer and then I went and ordered my pizza. Now I did have to wait about an hour for my pizza on a busy Saturday night but when it came out it was an explosion of flavor. I loved the pizza. Tip: GET THE BETTER THAN RANCH SAUCE. It's fire! Now the only thing I'll say is this place is a tad pricy. It was 35$ for a pizza. Would I pay it again though? Yes? Would I pay more than 35? Probably not. Overall this place is fire! Try it if you're thinking about it.

So some previous confusion here.. the Pizza God Portnoy had been here.. it was a bit ago though.. then apparently the Pizza disappeared from this location.. then all manner of food trucks.. there was even a sign finally saying ..no Pizza here.. well .. it's back! And I got a chance to try it ! It is amazing!! And if I understood right.. yes it a food truck.. but it is actually Trevor's .. sorry.. I was so hungry and excited!! But yes.. the Pizza is back.. but I would maybe confirm w/ Trevor's if a lot of time has passed since the review or coming from far away..

We LOVE Trevor's. If you have not gone...please go! Our daughter and son in law moved to town and my wife and I take them for what will now be a rotation restaurant for them! The greatest pizza ever! Started with the charcuterie and bruschetta. Then 3 delicious pizzas and at then end of the night we were all stuffed and had a full large pizza to take home! GO TO TREVOR'S FOR LUNCH OR DINNER TODAY!

I love Trevor's! I've been to the one in North Scottsdale, but this was the first visit to the one in Old Town. We visited after a long day of birthday parties and we just wanted to unwind. The Pizza was amazing as always. A little pricey for a pizza otherwise I'd visit more often. But it never disappoints! We ordered a Pepperoni & Sausage pizza from the Food Truck parked outside and took a seat in the dining area. There was a tasting session going on next to us and it looked really cool and I'll have to try that sometime soon. The pizza was amazing as always and I will be back

Lots of bourbon selections. Middle table is all store picks.

Great liquor store and restaurant. The pizza was amazing. I'd highly recommend it if you are in town. We went to two different locations during our 3 night stay in the area and both were great.

The arugula and dressing i think to add to my pizza and the garlic ranch

I loved that Trevor's had some of the best food trucks in the valley. Then over the years you could not count on them being there. So now Trevor's has their own Pizza Trailer Im disappointed it will be the same 7 days a week but figured id give them a try. They have 2 salads, maybe 6 pizzas and 1 kind of cookie. I ordered a small pizza with a better than ranch and it was $23. I asked for extra fig jam because I enjoy the sweetness with the prosciutto. I was told no i did not need extra it had enough. My belief is if im paying for it give it to me. So I wish they would have made it how I asked. I asked for extra crispy and was told it comes crispy. This time I asked to please do it and they did. Pizza was thin and crispy the way I like. It was not sweet enough. They put the arugula and dressing for it on the side. Im guessing that's what that extra cup of sauce was to dress the arugula. No one asked if I wanted it dressed on top or on side for me to do it. I would have liked to be asked. It was good. I dont think its worth $23 for a small. Yes id come back in a few weeks and give a 2nd chance.

Got the meatballs appetizer. Great dish, we got the pepperoni pizza extra cheese. Very good pizza .

I wanted this to be a good experience so badly. We visited on a Thursday night. No one greeted us and let us wander around trying to figure out how to spend money at this establishment. The suggestion was to order it online and pick it up... while we were there sitting on the cigar patio. We ended up being able to order on the patio and someone brought us the pizzas. The pizza itself was great but the overall experience was just really unfortunate.

It was a shortish walk but we ended up accidentally going the long way, my suggestion is to walk behind the Hot n Juicy Crawfish restaurant through the pretty walkway and you land right at Filthy Animal, which has DDG as part of it. We were led back to a secret-ish area and sat next to the entrance, it really is a beautiful space with a kinda groovy vibe. My friend and I wore sparkly ensembles to fit the vibe. It wasn't very busy on a Wednesday evening and we arrived during happy hour so we had the edamame hummus & chicken tendies plus two drinks each. I had a margarita & lemon drop, my friend had a Ramos gin fizz & bees knees. The hummus was excellent, I liked the pairing of the creamy texture with crispy plantain chips and sweet pomegranate pieces. You would think chicken tendies would be kind of boring but they were actually so delicious paired with a gochujang sauce and a spicy aioli sauce. We literally left no crumbs! The staff was very attentive and sweet, we were finished with food and drinks about 90 minutes later and most of that was us yapping.

The chicken tenders were fire!!! What is lacking on this occasion was service. The server that we had was so unattentative. I have never been in a cocktail lounge in my life and had to beg for drinks. Our server would wait until every drinks was made for all of her tables before bringing out drinks. It was ridiculous. She was nice but seemed high. I ended up only having 2 drinks. We would have ordered more but they have 90min max seating and we didn't event get drinks for the first 30min. No exaggeration. Also one of my drinks I had to send back. My apple martini tasted like soap. It was like they did clean the glass after giving a soap bath. No bueno. So they need to get their service to match the vibe of a true cocktails lounge. Yes it is a 70s vibe but doesn't mean the lackadaisical style service. I would come back and try again. The music, the atmosphere and the food was good. They gotta get these cocktails together and service. We ended up walking to nearby competitors and that was money lost for DDG.

Located inside the Canopy Hotel in Scottsdale, I didn't have trouble finding free parking right outside of the hotel (I wonder if the same holds true on a Friday or Saturday night). After parking, take the elevator all the way up to get to the rooftop. Ambiance (4/5): Pretty awesome. I love a good rooftop. Outrider has a good deal of comfortable seating which is always a plus in my book. It's an open air bar, so there's also some seating by the bar which is semi-covered. There's even a firepit of sorts, but only one. Would be cool if they had more. The best part though? The view from the rooftop. You can see the mountains in the background and old town Scottsdale. I imagine that the absolute best time to stop by is during a sunset. Service (4/5): Our waitress was friendly and pretty attentive throughout. She did a great job making us feel like we were right at home. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so I can't comment on their food. Drinks (4/5): Outrider has a nice selection of craft cocktails. While I was intrigued, I stuck to beer. Not a huge selection by any means, but there are a decent number of craft brews, including a handful I had never tried. The beers are fairly priced. If you're looking for a nice rooftop, Outrider is a great choice.

I booked a solo seat at the bar just two hours before dinner, which, in hindsight, should have been my first clue. The night before, my plans at Chilte had evaporated after I arrived to discover the owner was hosting a baby shower and the ceilings were being painted instead of dinner being served. I wasn't eager to go 0-for-2 on my Scottsdale food pilgrimage. Pulling into what looked more like an aging roadside motor lodge than the home of a James Beard-recognized restaurant, I wondered if Google Maps had developed a sense of humor. I parked around back, followed the sign to the dining room, and found... a locked door. Naturally. For a brief moment I thought the Arizona restaurant gods were playing another practical joke. Then I spotted another entrance simply marked "Bar." Inside, Hai Noon revealed itself as a tiny oasis. Phoenix met Tokyo somewhere in a dimly lit room with clean lines, warm wood, and mellow music humming through the speakers. Three other guests occupied the restaurant--a couple finishing dinner and what appeared to be a delightfully intimate two-person baby shower. I took my place at the bar. The server welcomed me warmly. When I admitted I was in town for work and wanted to experience the restaurant rather than order safely, he smiled and took control. A few menu staples were unavailable but he confidently selected four dishes. The grapefruit avocado hamachi spoons arrived first and immediately justified the trip. Rich, buttery fish balanced against bright citrus acidity with avocado quietly stitching everything together. It's the kind of bite that reminds you why chefs obsess over simplicity done well. The white fish carpaccio followed with a little theater. Hot sesame oil was poured tableside, barely kissing the fish into submission. Fun presentation. Beautiful execution. Though once the spectacle faded, the dish itself never quite reached the same emotional high as the hamachi. The garlic butter mushrooms arrived... in a plastic bag. It shouldn't have worked. It absolutely did. Deeply savory, unapologetically rich, and refreshingly unconcerned with appearances. The house chicken, unfortunately, couldn't keep pace. Twice fried and topped with egg salad alongside a chili vinegar, it sounded far more exciting than it tasted. Sometimes clever combinations simply refuse to become memorable food. Cocktails, however, were another story. My first choice--the Kosho--was unavailable, so I settled on the Japanese Moss, a gin cocktail topped with yuzu cold foam. The foam leaned aggressively tart but never overwhelmed the drink. Later, after finally coaxing the bartender away from his phone, he suggested an off-menu serrano-infused rum cocktail with miso. Complex, vegetal, spicy, balanced. Exactly the sort of drink you hope to discover when you stop ordering from menus. By 7 p.m., I was the only customer left. Summer in Phoenix is merciless. One hundred thirteen degrees has a way of convincing even adventurous diners to stay home. I watched two reservations cancel while chatting with the bartender and server, who explained that between May and August, three tables can qualify as a good night. Location doesn't help either. Hidden behind an unassuming hotel, Hai Noon isn't exactly benefiting from walk-in traffic. The chef emerged from the kitchen several times during service. Each time he glanced at the empty reservation book, quietly acknowledged another cancellation with a shake of his head, and disappeared back into the kitchen without speaking to anyone. There was something heartbreaking about it. Here was someone capable of creating award-winning food, still chasing perfection while circumstances far beyond the plate slowly worked against him. Hai Noon isn't flawless. Service occasionally drifted. One dish missed the mark. The room felt almost too empty. But I'd rather spend an evening in an imperfect restaurant full of ambition than a polished dining room serving food without a soul. I just hope Scottsdale's relentless summer doesn't prove too Hai for many more Noons.

Wow. I could eat this every day and never get sick of it. Melts in your mouth. A must order. Wouldn't recommend: the salmon sashimi. The salmon was room temperature/a little warm which threw me off and made it tough to enjoy. Maybe a cold plate for serving would help combat this! The flavor was there, but the temperature made me nervous. Maybe order: the yams. For me, it had way too much topping in a small bowl, which made it overwhelming. Some of the yams were undercooked, but there is a lot of potential for this dish!
