Absolutely awful, I got into an argument with an employee "Javier" and when bring my keg out to my truck the argument continued he then backed me up against my truck and said " he would mop the floor with my A$$." Police called seeking attorney to address situation with Bevmo. Mat the manager attempted to excuse his threats of violence because I was " balligerent" in the store. I am a disabled /handicapped 60 year old man . Be careful to not upset anyone in this store you might get assaulted by one of their employees. In contact with corporate office also. Outside you see BevMo, package and beverage store right? WRONG! So GoPuff bought out BevMo. I had no idea and I don't care really but it's good that I know now. It's still all the alcoholic beverages, wines, tequila, etc. The gopuff section is towards the back but they have a mini convenient store in there. Chips, snacks, bread, ice cream, coffee, you name it! I think I was just pleasantly surprised. They're open to 11p but GoPuff does orders until midnight. read more

Really disappointing customer service. I called to ask about keg pricing, and while the woman I spoke to was friendly at first, I couldn't get a clear answer on the cost for different keg sizes. When I politely asked her to repeat the information, she hung up on me. That felt very disrespectful. I'd recommend saving your money and going to Total Wine instead. read more

I was coming in to pick up an online order and the instructions where not completely clear from the guy up front so I go to the back and notice another guy working (mind you I've never picked up an online order from here before) and I politely asked the worker in the back which I noticed he was busy trying to get the store ready to close to u didn't want to ask to much but I was like where do u pick up online orders? i was impressed how Bevmo is operating while we are facing this pandemic. They have a pop up carry out only window and you order your alcohol online and then pickup. I love that they have a warning posted about social distancing. although not a big drinker i can enjoy a glass a wine on occasion. Today August 28 around 12 12:30 I went to Bevmo to purchase two cases of beer, which I have done on numerous occasions. According to BevMo they price match. When approached the counter the cashier asked me to wait while he handles a phone call, my response was okay. Now he's done with with the call I asked for a price match (Total Wine) he calles the manger to request a price match. There was another customer behind me, he asked do you mine if i take the next customer my reponse was sur,e it was only two of us in there. He finished with the other customer the manager is there with an attitude his response to the cashier what do you need. He responded a price match, manger response you need to ring it first then he asked the cashier do we only price match for the first case, the cashier says we usually do for the total purchase, the manger calls someone in the back and asked we only price match for first case right the person on the phone response 1st cases everything else full price. I I have never had this issue before. I left both case there and drove to the next block and purchased two case and some snakes from Total Wine customer service was much better. read more

Really a horrible Bevmo. Go to the Total Wine around the corner! Save yourself! When I first walked in no one was at the front counters check out, didn't see anyone in the isles, just another customer. Finally when I'm ready to check out there's a guy having trouble with payment and/or coupons, I don't know but who cares? I wanted to purchase 1 non alcoholic drink and there's 2 staff members there and yet you can't open the next register to check me out? Literally only us as 2 customers in the store. And next to the guy is even more product like someone left it or they're holding a place in line? Why is it there blocking my ability to set things down? This location is a bit smaller than the one in Tempe Marketplace but nonetheless they have a decent selection of alcohol. The wine deals here cannot be beat - many of their wines are part of the 5 cent deal which essentially means 2 for 1. I got two nice malbecs for $22! The staff at this location were friendly and the overall appearance was neat and organized. It was very easy to find what I was looking for. I normally do not take the time to file a complaint however the cashier there was rude and condescending. As I was walking in the store I witness her having an argument with previous customers. This woman refused to sale me alcohol because my daughter accompanied me during my shopping. I can understand and respect company policy but her actions are unreasonable. According to her she couldn't sale me the alcohol because my daughter leaned on the shopping cart. She saw me there with my daughter and waited until I was ready to pay to ask for her identification. My daughter is clearly a minor but she waited until I was ready to pay, after answering several questions, and actually retrieved a bottle from a locked display to waste my time and tell me she won't be selling me anything because my daughter was touching the shopping cart. I didn't see any signs stating a minor couldn't touch the cart. She did not touch any alcoholic beverages. I don't understand if she was not going to sale me anything why wait until actually ringing me up to ask for her identification. We spoke before when she rudely answered other question and could've taken the opportunity right there to tell me she wasn't going to sale me anything anyway. I do not recommend this store at all. Needed to pick up a specific item. Came here because it is closer than Total Wine. Staff is welcoming, friendly and eager to help. Reason for four stars is the prices- I purchased my item and only after coming home((face palm )) I was curious if I had gotten a good deal or not. I priced matched to total wine- which apparently is the only place BevMo price matches. The difference was ~$25 before taxes ! So I went back to BevMo to return and re purchase my champagne for the price match price. Went from paying $94.xx to $67.xx John was real cool about the situation and even told me he's glad I caught the price difference. Because I was used to shopping at the BevMo in La Mesa, when I found myself suddenly in Arizona, I located this store in the Yellow Pages and made the trek out there on a run to the Michael's and Joann's in the same area (about a 15-20 minute drive from the house). I found the clerks here to be almost as cheerful and friendly and helpful as my guys in La Mesa. I do have to keep my loyalties to home base though. This store had the items I was used to buying in San Diego which was very convenient, I just had to stock up a little more because it wasn't 5 minutes away like my home store. The guys here always commented on my little key chain BevMo card because they don't have those here. They usually knew I was from Cali before I even pulled out my ID because of that. After a few trips they even started remembering me and saying hi when I walked in--one of the things I like about my home store, too. Whatever they do to train these guys they do it right. That's not to say some of the clerks just aren't naturally friendly people, but BevMo does seem to attract more than their share of great employees. I hope that never changes. read more

Clearly, I should frequent here more often. I was looking to purchase some alcohol to spike my Sonic slush I got during happy hour, and I felt like I walked into an adult Toys R us. The selection here is huge! Wine, liquor, beer and galore. Great full selection, along with amazing prices. If you sign up for a membership (which I understand is free) you get discounts off your purchases. Prices are awesome, store is clean and well kept, and prices are clear and easy to see. This is a convenient location right off of Ray road by the 10 and it has a great staff, but I'm not sold quite yet. I came in looking for a Elderflower Liquor and a sweeter white wine their selection was quite limited on both accounts. Also, the prices were slightly higher than I was expecting. I know it is probably unfair to compare this to Total Wine, but I think Total Wine offers more deals (Mix 6 Specials) and has more of a selection for beer, wine, and liquors. I think the biggest thing this location has going for it is its location. If you need something that you wouldn't find at a grocery store, come here. If you have 10 extra minutes, I would suggest going up to Total Wine. read more

I've been a frequent flyer at this chain, i.e., a card-carrying member of the BevMo army. So I was thrilled when I relocated from California to Arizona only to find BevMo a hop, skip, and a jello shot away from my new residence. I fondly recall stocking my home bar in California mostly through BevMo shopping sprees. Upon this visit, I was looking for very specific ingredients to make an Alamo Fizz. I read about it in an issue of Texas Monthly magazine, when I tragically ALMOST lived in Houston. I don't have anything against Texas, but the trauma persists of moving there and then having to suddenly move away a week later. Thankfully, I can wash away those memories by kicking it in Arizona with a Texas-inspired cocktail. But first, I must mix up that puppy. As it turns out, they have different kinds of limoncello here. And I am stoked they carry Bitter Lemon Soda, as it has been an elusive mixer to track down at times. I'm no stooge... I can still underprice BevMo on the mega-gluggers of brand name vodka and gin by going to Costco. (Mega-glugger is a technical term, equivalent to the metric measurement of 1.75 liters.) But when it comes to specialty mixologist ingredients and an amazing beer selection, I stalk the aisles of BevMo. read more

Walked in at 4:45 pm. Yelp shows location is open until 9pm. Female employee immediately hits me up with a snotty tone stating store closes in 15 minutes at 5pm because of curfew, she was acting like she was in a rush to get home. I said curfew is at 8pm and what are you so paranoid about! First off in the customer service industry you never ever address someone with such an attitude, secondly you better think twice before speaking to me that way. So every once in a while I stock up, and each time I've been pleased with the service at this store. Tonight the guy at the register was chatty and pleasant. It's been this way every time I visit. If you are looking for something different in terms of drinks (alcoholic or not) this is your place! Name it and they likely have it! Just want to try something new and unique, come on in! They have a wall full of crazy sodas - like bacon flavored, corn flavored, chocolate, classic Faygo, ginger beer, and much more! A friendly greeting awaited us when we first entered the store and then we were left alone to browse, which I always appreciate. The cashier was friendly and efficient. The store was clean, spacious, well stocked (except for being out of Faygo Red Pop...sniff sniff) and logically laid out. Friendly staff but the prices seem to be a little high when compared with the normal other store that I go to. I went for a case of angry orchard for a dinner with some friends and much to my surprise it is $18 when it's only $13 at the other store I get it from. I got a couple dollars off for having some little account pass club card thing or whatever they have there. They do that at bashes and Fry's at other places and it always annoys me because you have to have the dumb card in order to get the proper price when it would seem better for a business to just have the good price right away. Nothing is more frustrating then going into a store that has a product advertised for a good price and having them be out of it. BevMo had Firestone 805 for a 12 pack at a good price. The 12 pack shelf was bare but they had a 5 ft section of 6 packs close to the same price. The manager told me they were out of 12 packs. I asked if a could get 2 six packs at the same price, he said NO. It was an accounting issue. I told him the cart full of other beverages that i was planning on purchasing were now an accounting detriment to him. I won't shop there again. read more

One of the smaller BevMo's I have been to, but I love bevmo because they have everything that I have been looking for and it is super cheap. I have been looking for a good long island mix everywhere. It just sucks to have to buy 5 different types of alcohol for one drink. I finally found Potter's long island mix here and it is great! Great for long islands and even for AMFs. I also have some barware from here and they last, I still have them from long ago. The employees are always very helpful and will help you find what you need. I am 22 and I got a $50 gift card from my 21st birthday. There was still some money on it. At first it was not working, but the employees were persistent of getting it to work. They found out it was expired and still tried to help me out. They told me if I come when the manager is there, she will be able to do something, very helpful! read more

Aside from the liquors, the super store also offers a variety of liquor accoutrements (i.e. corkscrews, wine glasses, decanters, designer bottle openers, wine bags...you name it, they have it) that can help enhance your beverage experience. Their wine selections are categorized by color and regions, and you will definitely be impressed. Of course, the champagnes are in a different league, and yes, they do have a section of their own. But what about the non-alcoholics, you may ask... Why, yes, they do have those! They have the standards--Coke, Pepsi, Pepper, etc.--and they also have the kinds that come from smaller soda factories. Now what about the price, you ask... Let's just say, I've bought a gorgeous bottle of Belvedere Vodka (citrus flavor) for $18 (!!!). Unheard of, as far as I'm concerend. Grey Goose? I've seen it as low as $20 a bottle (!!!). And here's one that blew me away... Last holiday season, I stumbled upon an impressive Belvedere gift pack that included a 750 ml. size bottle plus two exquisite-looking martini glasses for...drumroll, please....$30!!! Needless to say, that gift pack sold out fairly quickly. Here are two more features that will add more fun to your trip: there is a wine tasting bar that stays open for customers to give their featured wines a try. AND...they do sell cigars...COHIBA! Forget discount party center...this is where you should go for your party needs! BevMo has that frequent shopper card that all major grocery stores have. If you have accumulated $200 in purchases, they give you a discount coupon towards your next purchase. Also, according to the friendly check out person I encountered the other day, you can shop online and just pick it up at your nearest BevMo. We were in need of a lot of liqour to celebrate my cousin and her husband coming to visit. He kept telling us what an awesome margarita he makes and needed a few different liqours to make it so my wife suggested we go here. I'm so glad we did, we found everything we needed here, and the guy helping us out was really helpful and friendly, I think his name was Shawn? The guy at the counter was nice too, told me about the points card which I did sign up for. They have an amazing celection of tequilas, I know we'll be back to try them and hopefully even find a new favorite... the Don Julio Anejo was really nice! Knocked me on my ass for sure... but really smooth at the same time. I don't think it'll take much time to rack up points :o) OH, they also have a ton of snacks and stuff there, and whole little rack of mini bottles which is fun if you just want to try a taste of something. I went in to the store to pick up an order that was placed online. I first had to wait for a while until someone came up to the front to ask if needed assistance ... which I thought was fairly clear that I did since I was standing up at the cash register. After that, one gentleman looked for my order and couldn't find it so he called someone else up to find it. After the other gentleman finally came to help me, he said they had misplaced a piece of paper for the order that they need signed by me. I had to wait probably for another 7 or 10 minutes for him to print out the form so I could sign it. The only good thing however, was that BevMo was very accommodating. The order was placed by someone I know who lives out of town & I was able to go pick it up after they gave special instructions when placing the order online ... I just had to show my id. read more
