When I questioned Rebecca about my child's draw to run to Rebecca's repeatedly, perhaps because of drugs or alcohol available at her apartment, she served me with a restraining order that a judge quickly dismissed. We found out from her daughters that beccadoeshair_101 works with hair by day and at bars at night, maybe to stave off her cravings for drugs and alcohol. this place will waste your time. i called hoping to come in at noon for a quick hair trim. i was told that they were pretty booked up already but that i can come in later at 6:15pm with Lilia who i had seen before. i planned my whole day around this evening appointment. i arrived to the salon around 6:12 and it was closed. doors were locked and lights were off. i stuck around a few minutes just in case and knocked on the door. if they would've called to let me know i need to reschedule, that would've been no problem with me. but instead i wasted time driving there and looking for parking. i've had a trim with Lilia before and it only takes about 15 minutes because I don't get a wash or style. so even with my late appointment it still would've been done before their 7pm closing time. not sure if she just wanted to leave when she felt like it and they didn't bother to call me or if the receptionist never even booked my appointment even though she told me it was booked. read more

This salon has met all my expectations and more! Where do I begin? Okay let's start with parking as that's the first thing you'll need to do lol. Take an Uber maybe if you're in a rush and don't have time to circle a few times looking for a spot. Most of the places right in front are 15 or 30 minute only. They have metered spots and a little pay station area which fills up quickly. This area is a hot little happening spot but totally worth the couple extra minutes driving in circles, the metered fo take cards :-) The salon had a very warm ambiance and everyone always welcomes you with a big friendly smile. They have a nice selection of tea and of course always hard to pass up a nice glass of wine, red and white both. Maybe you'll be in luck and show up on a special day when the owners sons pig is there! Yes I said pig! She's adorable and loves for you to feed her. Okay now to the good part, the work. I've b be seeing Daniel after being referred by a friend. My hair had never been so blonde! As many of you ladies know going blonde is not an easy task. I came in with some orange and brassy tones I picked up from an inexperienced someone who I won't name names but yeah. Daniel is an excellent stylist. I brought him an utter mess, and he cleaned up my thick, wavy/frizzy hair like the pro he is. The layers are perfect, and the products he recommended (and did not at all push) have made a noticeable difference in my hair's texture. I appreciate that he took an extended amount of time and care to talk through my "hair goals" before getting to work. I left the salon with a style I love, and have been able to replicate it at home without any problem. I went in today, my first visit to Tops, and it was excellent and I will be returning!! I had a basic manicure and pedicure with Maurice...he was fun and talkative and has a great personality! His work is quality work and my nails and toes look great!! The whole staff seemed very friendly and like they were having fun at work. I'll add more when I come back to try out a hair stylist!! Amazing salon!!!! My first time here because I followed my stylist Daniel from a previous salon. This salon is top notch, everyone is friendly and welcoming, with massaging chairs at the hair wash station too . I moved here from the east coast in search of a hair dresser, I was referred to Daniel and love the way he does hair. I wanted a specific cut (bob with some edginess and a white blonde but not too crazy). He was able to achieve this and made it look better than I imagined without ruining/damaging my hair. Doug is a master at what he does. Called, let them know I was a new client and was told the owner (Doug) has consults first with all new clients. Thought that was nice and even better they had an opening the very next day. Doug is one of the few stylists to take the time to assess my hair and what type of style I was looking for. As I have curly/wavy hair, getting a good cut is very hit or miss. This time was a absolute hit!!! This is the best my hair has looked in a long time. Even better, it looked just as good today after I washed and styled it myself. So many times, it looks great and so cute when you walk out of the salon but the next time you wash it and try to style it, you can't get it the same way. Is the salon a little pricey at $65 for a haircut? Yeah but it was worth every penny. Definitely have found my new stylist. read more

15 years ago I got my legs waxed, it was so excruciating that I never wanted to get waxed again. Fast forward to today, I Just got my full arms and lip wax. I was so nervous about the pain. The waxing room is in its own private section in the back, it's quiet, peaceful and helped to calm me. The first two rips were tough, But Angie reminded me to breathe and relax and the rest were actually easy because of her advice. This will definitely become part of my usual routine. We had dropped by Tops for a "trial run-through" of hair and make-up for my sister's wedding. We had Valerie (hair) and Cathy (make-up). They are very easy-going and patient as they tried out different styles until my sister got the look she wanted. We booked them for my sister's wedding (May 2013). Both Valerie and Cathy arrived ahead of schedule. There were 5 people who got their hair and make-up done (bride, bridesmaids, and mothers of bride and groom). Everyone loved their looks! As a side-note: I don't know what hair products were used, but somehow our hair stayed curly (or however style it was supposed to be) for the entire day! For the longest time I've always wanted to go for a honey blonde. I have the most stubborn dark hair and to top it off, thick as well! And in my past salon experiences of "trying" to achieve the color I was disappointed each time. Until...I came across the lovely Megan! She is so talented and made what the others said wouldn't be possible, POSSIBLE! She exceeded my expectations of what my hair results would be. I came in at 2:30pm and was her last appointment for the day. For a cut & color it's scheduled in a 2hr time block. We did not finish until about 7pm and the salon closes at about 6. She did not rush through the work and didn't kick me out having to make another appointment to finish my hair. We weren't sure if we would get the color in one session with how my hair is but I was so surprised!! She was able to achieve the color in one appointment and freshen up my cut after the process. I found this salon and most of all Christine while searching on Groupon for a stylist that did Brazilian Blowouts. Christine was very accommodating and willing to work with me to get me in a few days before Thanksgiving! It was a bit tricky but she made it happen, I contacted her in the morning and that next night she got me in. I let her know I wanted cut, color and BB, she was like no problem! From the moment I walked in the customer service was awesome and the salon is really cute! She took me to the back sat me down and asked me what I wanted and suggested ideas. Her assistant, Natalie was supper sweet and offered me a beverage which was nice. We started the BB process and it was great! She has a whole set up outside to do safe BB, which I thought was cool a little cold if you go at night but they offered blankets! Overall my experience with Christine was great, she was sweet and knew what she was doing. Loved my a line cut and color. The BB is great, I have noticed a bit of dryness and dandruff after receiving the blowout but have used oil and dandruff shampoo with my BB shampoo to stop it. I will def be going back, she is pretty reasonable too! Great place. read more

I just got a facial from Angie at Tops salon. It was amazing! The products are phenomenal and worth every penny alone. I bought the night serum to take home. Her service is also top notch!she has great hands. I added the micro current treatment to my facial for an additional 35 dollars. I am glad I did and I think I will add that every time. They even have an adorable little jewelry selection up front and every pair of earrings I've bought from here receives so many compliments. I recently went in for a pedicure and it was amazing! I recently visited Tops Salon and loved the spot. It was really cute and comfortable from the get go. I was warmly greeted by the receptionist immediately and taken back to my stylist within minutes. Once seated, I was offered a beverage (they even have wine!!). While the salon impressed me, the real star of the day was Christina. My boyfriend bought me a living social deal a few months ago to see her. This was my 3rd time having my hair done by Christina and she is absolutely amazing!! The color she did is outstanding (I dye me hair violet red). She really knocked it out of the park! It was hard for me to see a new stylist... Please do not let the reviews here fool you. It is NOT a five star location! Let me begin with the fact I came to Savannah to turn my blonde hair into black and gray. Not only did she ruin my hair, she charged me $140 after the 20% discount I supposedly got. Less than a week later, my hair is the same color it was before (blonde) except more damaged from the dye. She also left hair dye all over my forehead so she could take pictures she then EDITED for her instagram. ** The owner replied to my other review, however, Savanah DID NOT ever tell me prior to that it was going to be that expensive. She gave me a range from $80-$175. A $100 range? Ridiculous. The work also was worth maybe $40 if that. Don't get me wrong, maybe the rest of the stylists are good. But the salon itself is hard to access, it's small and rinky-dinky, and the staff are ridiculously rude. **Owner also tries to swear the front desk was helpful however they were NOT. Not once did they try to help me let alone even listen to what I was dissatisfied about. When I tried to respectfully ask about what could be done for my hair, the manager, receptionist and EVEN THE OWNER (Doug), were all extremely disrespectful to me. I got hung up on, called names and laughed at after already getting ripped off. Way to add insult to injury. The manager said, "Yeah sorry if someone told you they don't like it but you seemed happy with it." Only because it looked grey in the edited photos Savanah showed me, when I got home I saw how brown it was and how terrible the job really is so I called and got nothing but attitude and frustration. **Again, the owner only knows what he's been told by the gang of girls working there who are obviously all defending each other and the owner is bias because he needs the good reviews for the money. Find someone whos actually passionate about giving people a good experience with even better hair, because that is NOT Doug or his excuse of a salon. If you're a young like me (I'm 19 and used to being treated differently than adults although I pay the same price, if not more here) do NOT come here please. You will get your hair destroyed by Savanah, who I'm not sure is even licensed, like I said this place is SKETCHY! **My friend recommended me and she is my age. She also feels like Savanah overcharges her and doesn't do her hair properly and now sees someone else. The owner Doug insists there is no age bias but I would LOVE to see them treat a 30 something lady how they treated me. It was outrageous and so are his claims that everything is fine. HA! All these reviews are older ladies who get treated properly because Doug is manipulative and wants these good reviews for his business. But Yelp was created for everyone and as a very common girl who had good hair prior to coming in this horror show they try to pass off as a salon, I'm telling you don't bother! **Also, if you want to see what I'm talking about with them not wanting to help AT ALL, the literal OWNER of this store made up a story about my sister saying she didn't like my hair and that's why I do not like Savanah's work. No Doug, I do not like Savanah's work because it was bad. She saw I was younger and eager to have my hair done, and never once mentioned the solid price nor it taking more than one session. She also inferred I was only getting my hair done because now "he can pay for it" (my boyfriend) so she was very obviously planning to rip me off from the start. You and your staff are bullies that gang up with each other but I know what happened because I was there. Maybe spend more time hiring trained staff thats friendly or even try being a better person instead of spending the time making up lies to cover yourself from the much deserved shell shock of this horror show you put me through. Tldr: THIS SALON IS COMPLETELY AWFUL FROM THE STAFF TO THEIR HAIR STYLING ABILITIES! Especially avoid Savanah, she edits the pictures of the hair she does and does NOT do good work! The owner will lie about the experience to cover his a** but at the end of the day, you can't hide my reviews Doug. Viki de Van was born to do hair and comes to it as naturally as birds come to flight. I've heard redheads in the Tops Salon say nobody can get the red color like she can, I've heard curly heads say nobody can cut for curls like she does, and in my own case I drive an hour from our home because what she does is pure magic. I've seen Viki for 20 years as well and the few times I've gone to someone else I've been incredibly disappointed. She keeps up to date on products and manages to take an almost 70 year old head and turn it into something I get compliments on weekly. I can't tell you how many people ask me on a regular basis who does my hair. Viki is peaceful and caring and attentive, on top of talented and fun to be with. I cannot recommend her more highly and only wish the rest of the world did their job half as well as she does! read more
