I was immediately impressed and decided to make contact in the real world for an appointment. His first tattoo he did was bats across my upper stomach. I started on my half sleeve exactly a year ago with Kyle. Despite my constant hesitation and OCD, he was patient and understanding the whole way. Not only does his work speak for itself, he is just a rad dude after my own heart. We talk about comics, music and movies and the hours just fly by! To be honest: I made this account solely to leave this review. Griffen is amazing at his work. What is more amazing than his tattooing is his playlist. Please. If you know anything good in life, go get tattooed here and ask for Griffen's playlist. Your soul will be reawakened within minutes. My tattoo took over five hours, so my soul had a mid life crisis, figured it out, and then took advantage of the hefty 401k it had in place prior to the mid life crisis and is now living in retired bliss. There are no better words to describe being tattooed while the Backstreet Boys are on than simply divine. I got my first tattoo here today and it was great! My friend and I walked in without appointments and Gus was happy to squeeze us in. He was so sweet and accommodating. My friend got a small tattoo on her ankle which didn't seem painful at all and my slightly larger tattoo across my ribs wasn't bad! The store was very clean and had fun art on the walls to focus on. Gus gave me candy before he started on me to give me something to focus on since the ribs are a more sensitive area and it was my first time. Eric Jones moved from Gold Rush in Newport/Costa Mesa to this shop in Anaheim. He travels a decent bit and does most of his work by referral. He can do this, most likely because he has a loyal base of customers- and rightly so. He has done 4 tattoos on my right arm and his work in black and white is incredible. He'll take a piece you like and play with it to make it look good. He's not pushy- but will give good advice. Very cool guy that is laid back. I haven't had anyone else work on me- but seeing other work, his is superb. Make an appointment- send him some artwork or meet him at the shop. Don't go cheap on tattoos- Eric is 'affordable' by comparison to other good artists- but his work is well worth it. read more

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary at Disneyland but wanted to end the night getting tattoos together. Kind of random, I know! I did a Google search for local tattoo shops and came across Torch Tattoo, which was only a mile from our hotel. After reading the consistent excellent reviews, especially for Justin Warn, I had a really good feeling about this place. I browsed through each artists photos and Justin's work really stood out to me. We called the shop to see if he had any availability that day, since we were heading home the next morning. We were told that he was completely booked but that they would ask him if he could fit us in later that night, since they knew we were from out of town. We figured we wouldn't hear from them again, but to our surprise, we got a call back about an hour later. Justin was very accomodating and squeezed us both in after his last appointment late that night! How's that for customer service? When we arrived, we noticed how clean and well kept the shop is. Justin greeted us and let us know he was finishing up his last appointment, which we appreciated. I went first and immediately felt comfortable and confident that my tattoo would turn out well...and it sure did!! I got a small fleur de lis on my wrist and it looks amazing; perfect lines and shading and beautiful detail. My husband redid his tattoo of 12 years and we couldn't believe the difference! It looked amazing as well! Justin is an exceptional artist, a good person with a relaxed and cool personality and is very dedicated to his work. It was a pleasure hanging out with him during the 4 hours we were there. He worked on us until after 2:00 a.m. to accommodate us since we were leaving the next day. That really says something!
