We have enjoyed tacos from this location twice and both times have been delicious. It is super fast, great service, and it is a fun spot. Never been to Torchy's before, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. We enjoyed the food overall. We weren't aware of just how filling the tacos were (we should have taken a hint from the average $5/taco price point), and we all ordered two along with three orders of chips (two with the awesome queso, one with the okay salsa) and one rice (quite good), one beans (quite good), and one street corn (very good) for the group. We all walked out stuffed to the gills and with a few leftovers to take home. Total bill was just under $80. Amongst the group, we had a couple of Fajita Tacos, a Democrat, a Republican and a couple of others. All were quite delicious, but the fajita meat was quite chewy. Next time we go (and we will go again), we'll order probably one taco each along with the sides of rice and beans and such. read more

Went here opening day food came out fast, the free half order of queso given in line was delicious with a lil kick! Five bucks for one taco sounds a bit high but they are stuffed! I had two with the half order of queso and I was absolutely stuffed next time I'll just not get the queso or one of the tacos. They were staffed plenty and service was great. I come to this location often on my lunch break. My favorite is the bushfire and the side of corn. Always great. Just one minor complaint. It's a meat locker in there. Can you maybe make it more comfortable for guest? So on rainy days you tend to leave the door to the patio locked. Last week I watched so many people try to enter through that door to avoid the rain and they were all frustrated. If you are parking facing Broad street it's much faster and you will stay dry entering that way. Just a suggestion. read more

I had never been to a Torchy's before but had wanted to go for a while and happened to pass this one. We go in and get 5 tacos and hillbilly queso to go. They brought it to us very quick and they were very polite. We get it to the house and they were just amazing. We got the fajita chicken taco, Baja shrimp taco, the fried chicken taco, the fried avocado and the crossroads taco. All 5 were just great and my daughter loved the queso. This is the worst Tex Mex food I've ever eaten. And I was born and raised RT here close. If you drink enough maybe you can choke it down. Fajitas meat was like boot leather, the beans ugh. So this is our first time visiting this location since it opened and we are happy that we don't have to drive to Arlington anymore. But the service was not great. I don't know if it is a Mansfield area thing but every place the people at the register is very rude.... We ordered online and then went to pick it up. We checked the bags and we were missing like 3 items. Told them that we are missing and showed them and they just really didn't care to do their job and instead gave us an attitude. You are seriously in the customer service industry and if you can't provide that then you shouldn't be able to work serving people. I have been order here for almost a year and was so excited to have a new place to get food in Mansfield. Tonight was so disappointing. I ordered their queso because I love it... only to be completely disappointed by it being lumpy from the cheese being burned. I can't believe they would have let this quality of product our their door. Absolutely disappointing. Manager, please correct your sub-par quality control. I was very disappointed in Torchy's tacos!! I was out shopping with a friend. We thought we'd pick up tacos to eat in the car. I got a taco in the bowl, but no fork, napkin etc. The drinks we ordered were and empty cup and a closed bottle of topo chico...except they were out of them. The substitution was not a great choice.
