You can take the girl from the ocean but not the ocean from the girl. The serene scene here is sweetly casual and just nautical enough to make even a non sailor feel knotty. What we missing?? Salt air maybe, but that's it. The BBQ on the upper deck might make the best lamb burger this salty soul has ever enjoyed. A handful of beers on tap, and full bar. When you have had enough of the island, the tender departs a short crawl away- just enough time to polish off that last beer. Office monitors ch.68 for those sailors looking to dock for lunch. I'd like to come back and experience the special events and potluck dinners hosted here. Worth an afternoon, just don't forget sunscreen and a jacket. It really is a magical hang.

Once there, you're provided with ponchos in all sizes, including mini ones for toddlers, ensuring everyone stays dry. During the cruise, the mist and the powerful sound of the water create a truly immersive and relaxing experience. It's a fantastic way to get close to the falls and enjoy their breathtaking beauty.

Tasted like it had been boiled for hours then sprayed with grill marks. Simply awful. The one and only bite I took was already half way down my throat when I realized I wanted to get as far away from it as possible. That out of the way... Everything else was a charm! I boarded Niagara City Cruises with the confidence of someone who had never seen Niagara Falls and assumed the complimentary red poncho would keep me dry. Wrong. We got absolutely blasted by the falls! It was spectacular fun! The experience began innocently enough. The falls looked beautiful from a distance. People were smiling. Birds were flying. Families were taking photos. Then the boat moved closer and nature abruptly decided that everyone on board needed a shower. Literally thousands of gallons of water a second are crashing from the sky. The poncho performed admirably if its job was protecting approximately 60 percent of my body. My hair and face were soaked. My pant legs and shoes were drenched. My poncho kept bellowing in the wind. I looked around at one point and I saw that this was everyone's story. The closer we got to the falls, the less we could see. The magnificent view slowly transformed into a white wall of mist, wind and life choices. Conversations became impossible. Communication was reduced to pointing, yelling and laughing. The power is overwhelming. The noise is deafening. The mist is relentless. The memory is unforgettable. Yes, it was incredible and I wish to have this experience -- without the hot dog -- all over again!

Wow! What an amazing tour! My family and I booked a 1-hour boat tour with Toronto Harbour Tours…read morebefore our flight back home and we were very pleased with the service. The narrator had great energy and you can tell she either really loved her job or she enjoyed telling customers the history of the Toronto waterfront. I can't quite remember her name (apologies!) but our tour was on 05/27/19 at noon and our crew (especially the girl who gave the narration) had amazing humor, charm, and sass. We had also missed our 11am tour because we ran late in storing our luggage at a nearby storage locker and the staff person at the window had no issues rescheduling us for the 12pm tour. Amazing!

The two person crew did a great job both driving the boat and talking about the sights we were seeing. I enjoyed learning a bit more about the city. One heads up...the stairs down into the main seating area are extremely steep. It's only a few, and the railings are sturdy, but for someone with balance or mobility challenges this could be hard. It might be worth calling ahead to see if space on the small back upper level is prioritized for those who can't navigate the stairs.

The weather was warm, the lake was nice and calm and we set out for what ended up being an absolutely incredible day and evening. Our journey began with a warm and friendly greeting by Captain Rhonda. Once we got on the boat, we were given safety instructions and got ready to set sail. Our first stop was on Hanlan's Point where we enjoyed a nice picnic. The beach was packed with women, men and children of all ages. The vibe was great as everyone was soaking up the sun and spending quality time with family and friends. After a few hours of lounging on the beach, we got back on to the boat and toured the west side and south side of the Toronto Islands. Our next stop was Ward's Island. We docked the boat, went for a nice walk on the boardwalk and then stopped in to sit down and have a cold beverage and a wonderful snack at the Rectory Cafe. We then continued our walk, stopped for ice cream and walked around the neighbourhood of Ward's Island. We got back on the boat and continued to explore the east and north side of the Toronto Islands. While on the north side, we explored the lagoons and stopped in to the Toronto Island Marina where a live band was playing just before the sun set. We wanted to be on the water while the sun was setting so we could take in Toronto's breathtaking waterfront. What a sight that was! Pictures don't do a justice! Captain Rhonda is a very friendly and knowledgeable person and knows quite a bit of the history of this fantastic city we call home. She really cares about her customers and will do anything to be accommodating. I would definitely recommend Humber Bay Boating Adventures to anyone who would like an intimate tour of the Toronto Islands and Lake Ontario whether you're in a group or would just like to go out with that special someone. I can't wait to book my next tour with family and friends!
