We've had a new gardener working at our mom's house for a few months now. They use the leaf blower and weed whacker often. Unfortunately, they don't pay attention to what's going on. I noticed that the window was sporting a large crack that extended from one side to the other. Clearly, a rock struck the window and they didn't inform us about this. I didn't feel safe with the window being in a fragile state, so I messaged Toro's 24/7 Window Repair. Juan responded promptly to my message via the Yelp app. I was hoping that he would come that day but he said that he'd have to come the next day. However within an hour, he messaged to tell me that he could come later that afternoon. I was very grateful that he was able to come out the same day after all. Juan showed up promptly! I showed him the broken glass but I explained that I have a major insect phobia. He said that rather than removing the glass and going back to his truck to work with the glass, he'd measure the space and install the glass right away. The window wouldn't be glass-less for an extensive amount of time. I was inside the house while he worked on the installation. He measured the space and cut the glass on site. It was secured in the window and like he said, there was only a short amount of time between the removal of the broken glass and the installation of the new glass (maybe less than 30 seconds). The window looks great! I don't know how much this service typically costs but I was very happy with the quality of their work. I was also grateful because he was able to fit us into his already busy schedule. We used a different glass company for when our previous gardener shattered the glass on the sliding glass door. We were quoted one price over the phone and then when they came, they bumped it up by $200. Juan quoted me a price via the Yelp app and stuck with that price. I am pleased with the quality of his work and how honest he was with the price. I went through Juan about 2 years ago for a window replacement and came back for a second repair for the opposite side of the original window. The first glass they replaced is still just fine no cracks or anything. Fixing the opposite glass today was done in less than 30 minutes like Juan said it would be and there was no glass mess when taking the broken window out! My grandson broke our old plate glass sliding patio door. It was an oversize, 4 foot wide door. I just sent a few pictures of the 'mess' they texted me back a very reasonable price for a tempered glass replacement. I called them and gave them the measurements.
