The staff was very friendly throughout the meal, and they even gave us a shot of limoncello afterward, which was a really nice touch. Overall, this was a great little stop on the drive to Sorrento. This is where you go if you want to experience southern Italy like a local. We arrived around 7:30 and the place was empty. Italians eat late and after a while the locals started to arrive and bring the place to life. The host, manager, owner maybe (??) was very friendly and genuine. There was no menu but that didn't matter. He just kept bringing more and more food out. The food was absolutely amazing, exactly what you imagine true Italian food to taste like. The biggest surprise was the bill. After countless courses, homemade wine and dessert, the bill said 24 Euros ($27 US)!! I thought it was a mistake but that was it. I cannot wait to eat here again!
