We ordered the chefs choice and it was phenomenal. Don't let the price hold you back - the four courses were more like six and one course was better than the next. We were in heaven! Fresh homemade bread, savory cannoli, the courses pictured, plus a fresh melon sorbet, delicate cookies and ice cold limoncello liquor. It was a dining experience we won't soon forget.

My favorite restaurant in Capri! I'm still day dreaming about their delicious caprese salad! Da Gemma is located right off the port of Capri and doubles as a beach club! Grab some lunch after checking into your hotel and then head downstairs to grab a lounger next to the water. The views are amazing!! The staff was very welcoming and offered suggestion as to what we should do in Capri. The menu was also delicious- full of fresh food and tasty wines! You do not need a reservation but if you want a seat next to the water I would recommend calling a head!

This restaurant was phenomenal! The food was so light and rich with taste. The portions were just right and the service was very efficient. The restaurant has beach access and you can rent chairs to enjoy the rest of the day. Also the restaurant is right on the water so you can enjoy your meal with a view.

We had an appetizer, two entrees, a bottle of water, and three cocktails each for around 65 euro.

In Capri, one simply has the Caprise salad. It was the perfect light lunch to celebrate my visit to this island. My waiter was friendly and I left revived from a 95°F day.

We even saw him take a bite of the communal Parmesan cheese with the spoon from the dish (and the mother returned it to the bowl) which prompted us to not use the Parmesan. The pizzas were hot and fresh, we ordered the Davola and salsiccia e friarielii. Both were delicious but in the end, we love a tomato based pizza the best and should not have wavered. A glass of house wine was surprisingly reasonable at just 5 euro and was a standardly nice, juicy, easy to drink red. The bread was incredibly delicious. The smokiness from the wood oven made it possibly the most delicious bread I can remember eating. No butter. No olive oil. Just delicious. We would have loved to have tried a few of the pasta dishes that looked delicious, so our recommendation for a couple is to get a pizza and a pasta and share them. The salads also looked fresh and large. As many places in Italy, there a fee to sit at the restaurant and be served. 8 euro for both of us. The next day when waiting for our ferry ride, we popped into a pizzeria and grabbed another pizza diavola to go...what a let down. The pizza at buca di bacco was within a euro or two in price and 100% better. If you haven't had a good pizza in Italy and find yourself in Capri, at least grab one or two of their pizzas to go and eat them near the ocean overlook. Don't forget the chili flakes You will be quite content.
