So I went to yelp to ask for tree trimming services. Six businesses responded but Torres Landscaping was the very first one to respond right after I sent the message. Leo the owner personally went to check the trees and the next day Sarah emailed me the estimate. The price is reasonable and affordable. I asked for four trees to be pruned but had a last minute addition of a pine tree, and they accommodate it right there and then. Jose and Jorge came at 9am as what I've been told and worked on the trees, Leo went in to check with them after an hour which I like because it shows that he values his customer and making sure that the work is being done. The guys are very respectful of the property, they're polite and they went above and beyond what's needed to be done. They left my property clean. Sarah is the one who communicates with me through phone about things like payment, and added last minute services. She's kind and awesome, answering all my questions and making sure everything is done according to my liking. All in all, I am very much satisfied with their work, work ethics and their service, I'm glad I went with them. Definitely gonna be my go to for all my yard and tree trimming needs. But he could do lots of different things for me, like fixing my existing irrigation system, installing a new water pipeline at the side, and install turf and concrete for my backyard in an artistic way. We get charged full price when the worker doesn't even do half of the work. Take today, 8/5/22 for example. Used the leaf blower to blow out some branch scraps that had fallen out of the yard waste bin. Then spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to attach the sprinkler to the hose in front-all the while talking to someone that I could not see. Didn't mow the back, didn't pick up leaves. He's like this whenever he works alone. We live in Creekbridge, our yard isn't that big. read more

Contacted Torres landscape to put in a retaining wall. I already pre excavated and added paver base to it. The job itself was really small because I only wanted them to add the first two rows only. I bring that up because most landscapers would disregard such a small job. Leo did not. He listened to what I wanted and what I needed. We have a house in East Garrison and we had this company come out and give us a quote to just prep soil for sod. $300 later, only to find out they did a horrible job since all of our sod is dead. Use any other company but this one because they basically just moved the top soil around and it was all patchy (some spots had more soil than others). I've sincerely been trying to get a quote for over a month. I called in and someone was scheduled to come over, but didn't show. I called back and was informed there was a scheduling error. Not a big deal. Leo came out the next day to look at the property and said he would send a quote. Nothing came through, so a week went by and I called in. The office staff said they would check and send the quote out. Another week went by, and I called back. She said he sent it and that was it. Most of these situations are usually misunderstandings like a typo in the email address or something, but I've made a sincere effort to make this happen. I've called multiple times trying to figure this out without response or effort. Finally they told me they were too busy to do landscaping for us. Leo Torres gardening service is the worst I have ever seen. He damaged the front of freshly painted house with weedwacker landlord will have to repaint. He only uses a weedwacker to trim bushes and leaves the clippings on top of the buses. They don't pick weeds they are at the residence top 10 min.
