On my first appointment with her, she asked if my tox person had placed it in this certain spot to bring my brow tail up and out a bit and i was like 'WHAT?!? I don't think so?!? Please do that immediately!' lol And every time we do a little extra for my lips she listens to what I want and is conservative while GETTING that I do not look like a duck or have noticeable filler. When I showed her what I wanted more of from my bottom lip she did her thing and it came out exactly right. Do I have the lips of my late 80's, early 90's teen mag dreams? No because those giant puffy lips are not my genetics. HOWEVER... my lips are beautiful, natural looking and SO MUCH fuller and more visible than they were on their own. They are actually ideal and it took me decades to get here, but I'm here thanks to Laura. She also did an INCREDIBLE job with Sculptra (seriously, people that do heavy cheek filler are missing out) and I look at myself now like 'oh! yeah, THAT is what I look like'. I lost some weight over the last 3 years (naturally, slowly, but still) and with age on top of it, I realized i just didn't look like me anymore. I've had this treatment done elsewhere dozens of times in the past and never had this problem. - When I expressed this concern to them, they dismissed it. When I expressed that I felt dismissed, they said "We're sorry you are feeling that your concerns were being dismissed". That is not a proper apology, and there was no compensation offered for the session that had zero effect. - In fact, that session price was DOUBLED because of the reasons I'll describe below. - Their pricing scheme is sketchy & scammy. The 6-session package rate is presented as 50% off, but it's actually the standard rate (in fact I was quoted almost 30% less than that amount at a different vendor), with the single-session price set at twice that amount. As a result, I was charged that inflated rate for a treatment that produced no results. When I signed up, I thought it was a harmless marketing gimmick, but it was used against me in the end. (I think they assume their customers are dumb and will be overjoyed to get 50% off of double the rate) Update: I went to that other vendor and actually got the result I had expected from this one. Save yourself the trouble and money and humiliation, just go somewhere else. --- 8/14 update: After I notified the company that I intended to dispute the charge and file consumer complaints, they responded by calling my communications "threatening, abusive, or aggressive," referred to my consumer complaints as "ongoing threats," and wrote, "If you wish to escalate this harassment further," they would report me to local authorities. I found this response bizarre, deeply unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Threatening a customer with law enforcement for saying they intend to dispute a charge and file complaints with consumer-protection agencies is an extraordinary way for a medical practice to handle a billing dispute.

Now medical doctors having to get involved due to eye issues this has caused. Serious concerns with safe technique here and accountability. An update that they've almost made an apology, but it is a "sorry but we're just going to keep gaslighting you".
