When clearly told by the staffer that Dr. Jamali does, in fact , perform that particular filler in the immediate mouth region, I actually questioned her (since I know that doctors differ in this regard, and requested her to directly ask Dr. Jamali to confirm that she does that type on injection. The staffer exited to ask Dr. Jamali, and I was assured that she definitely does. On that basis I went for the appointment, was quickly ushered into a treatment room and told to pay a $100 consultation fee (which I did pay, since I had been assured of the treatment). Dr. Jamali then entered the room and forcefully stated "Oh no -- I NEVER do injections with this filler in the mouth region" - so, precisely the opposite! of my assurance. Dr. Jamali then proceeded to 'explain to me' that I needed a different procedure, which happened to be far more expensive. Clearly, this FALSE 'reassurance' was intended to simply LURE me into the office. A truly UNFAIR business practice, if not directly DISHONEST.

I had a deep scar and developed keloid on my chest and needed some treatment to fade it away. It was so easy to schedule and when I arrived, the staff put me at ease very quickly. "Thena" treated me with care and comfort. Quick and easy without pain. It's been 4 weeks and I'm experiencing significant improvements. I plan to go again to get another treatment soon. I did notice a variety of other treatments including hair restoration. I would recommend this MedSpa to friends and family.

Now medical doctors having to get involved due to eye issues this has caused. Serious concerns with safe technique here and accountability. They've essentially deformed my face and I feel like I cannot be in public and meeting with clients. It looks absolutely awful. I paid $1200 for this. An update that they've almost made an apology, but it is a "sorry but we're just going to keep gaslighting you".

2 stars - Disappointing and concerning experience…read more I really wanted to like this place. I try to support local businesses, and I hadn't heard of this one before, yet it popped up in a search and looked promising at a time when I thought I would try somewhere new, given the staff turnover at Laser Center of Marin. When I arrived, I was surprised to be the only client there. The owner mentioned she was a registered nurse, but there was no doctor on site, and she had to get approval via a video conference before proceeding. That already felt a bit unorthodox and uncomfortable. The actual procedure was, unfortunately, where things really went sideways. I'm someone who's been getting Botox or Dysport regularly for about 30 years--usually 1-3 times a year. In all that time, I've had one tiny bruise, at most the size smaller than a thumbtack, on my forehead after a treatment. After this treatment, I left with two noticeable bruises on my forehead--one of which ballooned into something nearly 20x larger than anything I'd ever experienced and was about half to one inch long. I contacted the clinic as soon as I got home. They recommended taking ingestible arnica, which I did diligently, several times a day, along with icing the area. The next morning, the bruising and swelling was worse. I've also asked twice for copies of the digital documents I signed as a new client, and despite giving them alternate email addresses, I've yet to receive anything. That lack of follow-through, combined with the strange approval process and unexpected physical trauma, left me deeply uncomfortable and has me concerned the person who administered the treatment was not certified or qualified to do so. I truly wish this had been a better experience. But based on what I encountered, I wouldn't return, and I can't in good faith recommend this business. I also believe regulatory oversight may be warranted--something about this setup didn't feel right, and I should never have ended up with this kind of damage to my face with an experienced practitioner.

I have worked in the aesthetic industry and have a medical background. My passion for this industry would prompt me to occasionally visit other practices/providers (though Torrey has always been my primary) in order to experience their touted unique injection techniques and new anti-aging modalities, etc. Generally, what I'd experience was simply creative marketing and nothing new in the way of technique or gadgets. Regardless of her expertise, Torrey is ridiculously humble. The compassion she exudes is almost palpable - you'll see. Whenever I'd come back to her with an over-filled face, or something funky that someone else had done, she would never judge and would always be delicate with her words. The truth is, this woman wants you to walk out of her office feeling better about yourself - regardless of how easy it would be to slam another provider, or capitalize on a desperate situation. She won't do that. What Torrey offers goes beyond her impressive skillset and experience in the industry, and taps into beauty that can't be achieved via any procedure. And while Torrey likely doesn't need the advertisement, as she has a very loyal following, I'd be remiss to not share my experience with others. Lastly, I truly appreciate that Torrey strives for a natural look, and will not perform outlandish procedures (or over-fill) just because it's trendy or might line her pockets. If you are looking for a safe, competent, experienced and compassionate provider, you will find that in Torrey. After stepping away from aesthetics for the last few years, to work on my self-love game, I slowly watched my fillers (from a different provider) migrate down my face and settle into the lower and lateral cheek. I went from Kardashian to Cat-lady in a few years time (taking photos along the way). When I approached the provider who injected this larger quantity of filler (with no finger-pointing, as filler migration is no one's fault), he responded with a (and this is paraphrasing) "I don't want to deal with this". Sight unseen (in response to my "I made a mess of my face" message), do you want to know what Torrey's response to me was? "We will come up with a game-plan for you" - and we did. Love you, Torrey!
