I enjoy the environment when you walk in and walk around window shopping for shoes. Some of the staff are very helpful and attentive. One gentleman hosted a 10 minute sale in the store and he was the most helpful out of all the employees I spoke to the day we went shopping here. The price of shoes is more than reasonable and so far the quality is good. The only two issues I had were: 1. The bathroom (women's) doesn't have a changing table for little ones. We ended up going next door to Target. 2. Some of the staff were not as attentive as they could have been. During our visit, there were at least 10-20 people in the store and two of the employees at the checkout stands were just chitchatting as a woman was standing in front of them waiting for them to finish their conversation before trying to ask for help. If you've worked in retail then you know how to pause a convo, help customers first, then continue that conversation when able. This isn't a major issue but during a rush, it's more noticeable. This store does carry some shoes in wide sizes. Most may need to be ordered though. Other than those things, this store is helpful. Alas no pink shoes - i was in the wrong season, but i did get some amazing shiny red strappy wedges for a mere $5. So my color pallette for the event changed, but i had some great shoes that wouldn't fall into the grass at the event! Lots of shoes and options. Definitely pop in and get yourself some shoes.

You really had to look into the photos and the more you looked the deeper the meaning of the photo. The photos were extremely reasonable and priced where anyone could afford them. We purchased photo of the Lincoln's and there was a chucky doll that was placed with them. The kids loved it. We also purchased a couple shirts that appear to be well made and prices very affordable. There was a vendor that made art with old silverware that was so neat. The lady working was so nice and there was a vendor that had explained her placement of chucky in her photos and some other hidden things she placed in her art. We had a very nice conversation with the lady working. We loved the store and really look forward to visiting again.

Studio on 6th is a mix between several different things. A large portion of their shop (maybe the whole shop?) is an artists collective where they sell all sorts of wares from jewelry to clothing to bags and kitchen items. There is also an area in the back where they sell a small collection of vintage clothing. I got a great 1970's dress for about $20 and they also had a few adorable hand tea-dyed vintage slips and hand-dyed tie-dye items. I also purchased some amazing hand-made hammered copper earrings (for under $10!) as a gift and could have continued all day if I hadnt dragged myself out of the store. This place is really everything you could want out of a gift shop. Its filled with amazing, personal creations by local artists, its run by friendly, helpful people, there are nice little surprises like vintage clothing and hand-carved wooden kitchen items and you get the feeling that every time you go back there will be new, interesting things.

I've been needing a new purse for quite a while. My biggest problem is I had very specific…read moredimensions and features that I wanted in my new purse. My goal was to get something before the winter because my summer purse is fabric and leads to drenched contents during the rainy season. The features that were a must for my new purse were that it needed to be leather/water proof. The main compartment needed to have a zipper closure. I hoped to find a purse that has a full size flat pocket on the backside of the purse for my handicap placard and for my small file of half fold papers. The space of the main compartment needed to be roomy enough for the contents I always carry; double pack epipen, purse calendar, wallet, checkbook, mini first aid kit, pens, notepad, cell phone, keys.i hoped that I could find a satchel style that had a double handle that I could carry in my hands or hike up on my shoulder. My husband realized several weekends ago that I was shopping online for a purse. He steered me to JCPenney.com because they were having a sale that went through that Sunday. What could be better than buy one,get the second one free. After spending the day looking at pictures and reading descriptions I found two purses to order. I kept my fingers crossed until they arrived that they were going to be right but knew JCPenney is good about accepting returns if they were totally wrong. Three days after placing the order they arrived. I'm happy with both of them and plan to use one or the other depending on what I'm doing. Thanks JCPenney.com for running such a good sale.. Your prompt shipping and delivery was appreciated.

So I had to be the one standing in line waiting to get a price on this scarf. As i was standing there waiting, it occurred to me that SHE should have been the one waiting for a price...not me. I don't work there!!! so with that, i put the scarf back and they can shove it where the sun don't shine. VERY poor customer service!! Never again. why should i have to get the price??? are they not trying to sell their crap? (Of course, I looked all through the department and didn't see another scarf like it)
