The first time I went this month was a week day and in the early am so not crowded. I was greeted promptly by the sales associate and she was helpful. I went back last weekend and it was a Sunday and of course much busier. There were 6 people on duty and not one of them greeted me even when they saw me they just walked by. 3 of the associates were at the check out desk chatting. I was taken aback by the lack of customer service especially in such a high end store. I was made to feel unimportant and that is a bad feeling if you are a customer. I had money to spend but chose to leave and go elsewhere. If I ever shop with them again it will be online.

I went in for a simple return but I requested a (paper) copy of my return receipt showing my refund amount because I like to keep it til I see it has posted back to my account. I get that business are steering away from paper receipts but man the system didn't print my receipt and what an ordeal it was to get my paper copy. I waited for over 15 mins after completing the return just to get a receipt. They seriously need to update whatever systems they use because why can't the employees just hit reprint is beyond me?! The manager had to go to the back and pull it up in order to give me the copy and I like I said I waited and waited spent my entire lunch break to do a return that shouldn't have taken longer than 5 mins max. Also 10 cents for a bag is ridiculous when I'm buying clothes - do better H&M!!!

I would said be a smart shopper. Check out different H&M for different clothing on sale in Bay Area. This may be one of them. I can find $3 to $15 sale in this store easily. The clearance with mark down. That is the reason that you need to check it in different seasons and different stores to look for items you like. I have take some photo on sales items this time. If you want to catch it, now is the time. H&M originated from Europe. We saw a lot of their store at the Europe street. They have more selection than US. Our area is catching up. I've had nothing but positive experiences while visiting this location within the Citrus Park mall. The staff represents the brand and provides excellent customer service. Compared to the other stores nearby they seem more patient, friendlier and helpful. Express fashion tends to promote what's in style while keeping classic looks current. Their signature denim, dress pants, essential shirts, skirts and sweaters are favorites of mine. I still haven't warmed up to the One Eleven collection. I love the softness of the fabrics but not so much the fit. They need to bring back the City Short! My surviving pair gets complimented all of the time. I always leave with someone when I visit this store. There's GREAT options for gifts, and quite a few Florida/Tampa styled gift options, which we love for our friends and family that live out of state. The employees have always been friendly when I've been here, many times there's an employee walking around the floor offering help or a dressing room if needed. The pricing for items is all over the place since it's a bunch of different small businesses - but I would say most of it is reasonable. I've shopped some of these small businesses at markets and stuff around Tampa, so the pricing is pretty on par for what you'd find.

With that said, though I love the service and quality of their products, I had to remove 1 star because ALL SALES ARE FINAL. They do not accept any returns or exchanges. Also, whatever they have available is on the floor. Once it's sold out and not on display (for example, a clothing size), they do not have any items in storage. They had a great variety the day I was in, plus had a sale for an additional 40% off clearance items (probably because it was close to Labor Day weekend). A lot of their clothes were trendy but inexpensive, so it was a great, affordable way to get items that will likely go out of style again in the next year or so. I tried on a few crop tops but they were just a bit short for me - I personally have a long torso, so with high waisted bottoms crop tops tend to look quite nice but these ones just had too much skin revealing for my tastes. They also had a ton of cute rompers & dresses, but none of the patterns at the time were to my taste. I only actually bought a light, white linen blazer that happened to be part of the sale I mentioned earlier, but it was nice to see they had a mix of professional, casual, clubbing, & more styles to shop from. My overall experience though wasn't the best - I was greeted but never once engaged with again by staff. I built up quite a stack of items on my arm & there was no offer to start a fitting room, hold things at the register, etc. When I decided to start trying stuff on it was thankfully an unlocked fitting room so I didn't have to ask for one to be opened, but when I needed a different size in a romper the three times I peeked out for an associate I was meet with no help even though my specific room was in view of the register. When I finally thinned my selection down to just the blazer & went to cash out, the lady at the register was nice & asked if anyone had helped & when I told her not really she just got quiet & there wasn't much of a conversation after that which made the checkout experience a little awkward. I work retail & this was just not how I was trained to engage with customers, so it definitely wasn't the best experience. If I'm inclined to shop from them again, I'll probably scope out the website before heading to the store.

Sure enough I found fleece lined leggings for a pretty reasonable price too so I ordered 2 pairs and had them shipped along with a few cute sweatshirts. I was so surprised at the quality and feel of the clothes once they arrived. The leggings are so soft and seem to be warm. I can't wait to wear them. Love that they offer the ability to shop online and pickup in store however wish they offered a ship to store as a means to save shipping. They are a bit pricey on some of the items but they tend to have good sales. Now they are doing an Old Navy Cash too where you earn dollars to spend towards a future purchase. Love that they now have a store in the plaza across from Citrus mall.
