The Rack in Maple Grove is decent sized and well laid out. They tend to have a bit of a smaller selection of the higher end designers that you can find at the Mall of America Nordstrom rack but still a decent variety. They carry women's, men's, children's, shoes, accessories and home goods. Parking is plentiful but the traffic flow is a little tricky directing you right into the first row. That row gets 100% of incoming traffic so I'd recommend parking one or two over. Customer service here is always good. While you are kind of on your own to hunt the racks (if you want a personalized shopping experience head to the actual Nordstrom's) the employees always seem to be in a good mood and helpful when checking out. Dressing rooms are always clean and they have plenty of spaces to try on items. It helps when people return unwanted items to the return racks so do your part and don't leave them in the room. They claimed to have check cameras, and they claimed that the shoes were in the bag, but the shoes never made it home with me. I'm a professional medical provider I have two twin boys, a husband there is no other female in the house and I know what I saw and how this person was acting at the register. Just make sure you check your items before leaving this store! Especially when you have someone that's bagging your stuff on the ground versus on the countertop!

I went in on a mission with limited time so didn't do much browsing. This isn't a huge store despite it being in MOA but there was plenty to look through! The cashier helped me search for any of that item left, and brought me to the shelf so I could pick it out. Another worker got me a fitting room quickly. She was pretty sales on the Athleta credit card, but I realize that's part of their job. I was able to swap my gift out for the one in the correct size very easily and quickly. Prices are quote steep for me beyond getting gifts here, but I've loved everything I've ever been gifted from here and the styles + quality is amazing!

There were hooks to determine whether I had to have the item, if it goes back on the rack, or if I'm still thinking about it. Frankly, the sweaters that I was trying on weren't that flattering on me, so I had to put them back. This store has an amazing selection of PopSockets. I've never seen anything quite like it. They were all on sale. I saw regular ones that I am familiar with. You can get just the tops and swap them out. There was a cute donut enamel one. There were also fancy jewelled ones. I bought the purple jewelled one because it was pretty in my favourite colour. I liked the travel section. There were nice luggage pieces and accessories. There was an aisle of discounted watches and bracelets. I spent some time looking at everything. There was a bracelet with an infinity symbol as a charm that I knew a friend of mine would love. I walked in cold outdoor weather to pick up my order. I had never shopped American Eagle before and wandered into Aerie. I asked what Aerie was and it was basically lounge wear. They had a back clearance area and there were signs up to 70% off. I asked and worker said it was all 70% off. For some weird reason their clothes are extremely big. I normally wear a large and I fit into a medium sweater and extra small shirt. Another inconvenience for staff is to reopen locked fitting rooms constantly. Sorry it had to happen 3 times. I did get a sweater and 2 shirts for $48. I also used my son's military id to save 10%. The store wasn't busy and the young staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend!
