First time here. It is delicious and authentic. First the signature torta ahogada. Nice dense birote bread. Tender pork. Tomato salsa was a great thickness to pour over the torta. Hubby, daughter and I loved it. Next the barbacoa tacos. Wow. It was like the stand in my mom's hometown in Tlaquepaque. My son had an asada burrito. A kid's default choice. He loved it. I thought it was okay, but not bad. At least there was zero fatty meat. The carnitas tacos were okay. They lacked a bit of flavor and I wonder if it's the same meat they use for the tortas- which those- the salsa is what makes the dish. Overall I really liked this restaurant. It delivers on its specialties. And as aforementioned, nothing fatty which is my usual dealbreaker. As for staff, there was one very welcoming lady who took and cooked our orders. I imagine she was the proprietor. Excellent service and fairly fast considering it was cooked fresh. The only downside was finding it the first time. It sits on the side of the business center so it took a second to figure out where to park. Definitely going back for the barbacoa and tortas ahogadas. read more

Probably the worst thing I've ever paid for. Came here for lunch to go, decided to try the torta ahogada. The bread was so hard that my teeth hurt. Even after I poured the sauce on it didn't soften up enough. I hoped at least the flavor would be on point but it was just ok and the size was pretty small. Over all waaaay over priced for the size, taste wasn't there and quality was a huge fail. Only ate half of mine. read more

Yesterday, I ordered placed an order for pick up. I ordered a tostada de pata. The pata was cold not sure if that is how it's served. And they didn't add my tostadas. The only edible item was the torta Ahogada but the meat was a bit dry. Ordered a taco de Birria but the meat smelled and tasted like it had already gone bad. I couldn't even get past the rotten taste. It's really hot inside even with the fan on. The people were nice up until we left the tacos almost untouched and they pretended like they did not notice. I normally don't leave reviews unless I've had a bad experience and want to warn other possible customers. I became aware of this place when I came across an article titled "The five best tacos in Lancaster". First thing first, be prepared when you come in to be welcomed with a smile and greeting by friendly staff. My wife and I ordered a few different tacos so we can get the feel of the quality of food. We ordered the chicken, asada, carnitas and taco dorado ( this was new to us and I never even heard of this Taco before). The first taco we tried was the asada. We frequent quite a few Mexican restaurants in and out of town. The asada usually tells us a lot about the quality of the food. Many restaurants use asada that not as lean, which causes the taco to have fat chewy pieces. Our asada taco was LEAN flavored meat!!! The chicken and carnitas( I know.... it's hard to mess up a carnitas taco) tacos are also great. But the real surprise was the taco dorado. This was first time eating it and that was surprisingly good. Tortas Ahogada La Ramadita also has a hidden secret that you might not even notice if you if it's not mentioned to you. They have a special secret recipe spicy sauce ( it is hot/spicy but I don't want to deteriorate the flavor of it by calling it hot sauce). This is a must and it can go on pretty much anything which includes Mexican food and beyond. Not sure if they sell it as a standalone yet but it's worth paying a lil extra and taking some home!!! read more
