I'm on 18th Ave since I was a little girl!! I always loved their jack cheese and chicken!!! I moved out of Brooklyn about few years ago, I was back on the Ave today.... it was raining while my family and I was walking so we ran in to tortillas king. My children were holding a cup of ice cream and they made a mess as soon as we walked in, since we weren't planning to buy any food, my husband felt horrible... so we decided to stand outside under the awning instead. The previous reviews are right about the Chinese lady being rude but I think that is how she normally acts because she always seems tired. The service has gone from bad to worse the last few times I've ordered my order has arrived completely wrong and I've actually been forced to send the delivery guy away as he had brought an order belonging to another customer, they have not gotten the order right once the last 4 times I ordered from them. I considered myself a good customer ordering once or twice a week and tipping 25-30% so it was getting very frustrating. When I call Tortilla King to place our order the female that answer the phone had no manners. After we finish on phone she didn't even say a simple word "Thank you" All business knows they only can survive because of customers!! The delivery guy calls me from his car in his broken english says" Delivery is outside." I was like ok come out of your car like all normal delivery guys do, walk up steps ring bell. The delivery man took an hour and 40 min to drive 8 blocks. Our food arrived cold and was missing our soda. I looked and realized the soda was missing as soon as he handed me the bag, but because the delivery man was obviously running late he sprinted to the staircase and left, ignoring me when I called him. He swiftly got in his car, I saw this as I walked outside to try to call him to stop so I could ask for my soda. We called the restaurant and the lady who picked up refused to give us our soda. Refused to understand she basically stole from us, by not offering a refund or returning with an actual soda, and was rude and unapologetic about the poor service. Eventually she said "next time, we are too busy now." When I said "What do you mean by next time? and I have no interest in ordering again." She said "We are too busy." And hung up. We ordered nachos, and aside from being cold, the food most certainly wasn't nachos. it was a lot of chips and a few pieces of steak sloppily sprinkled on top. I will never order from here again.
