Chips and salsa for the win!!!! Fresh and definitely pleasing!!!

My friend and I went out to eat here, but my family and I have been also a few times... I think they really shine with breakfast, but this visit we enjoyed Mexican food! The very large table next to us enjoyed burgers! Food is ALWAYS RELIABLY good! The restaurant stays REALLY BUSY, so my first tip is to call ahead for a pickup order if you're pressed for time. Lots of pickup orders going constantly. If you do have time to sit down and enjoy they have nice little seating area outside where you can take in the dynamic view!! Kid friendly little round bench seating outside. They have beautiful art inside for sale that really brightens up the atmosphere! Food tip - ask for an extra "hot" tamale - temperature wise, because who doesn't LOVE a HOT TAMALE ?? Enchilada was EXTRA Savory!! The folded taco was quite addicting so next time I'll go for the taco plate! Staff is very friendly with nice smiles and you can feel the LOVE Vibes in a small town setting. The Ambiance is very social and pleasing to your spirit - visit when you'll take a nice little scenic drive, eat delicious food and enjoy your day, highly recommend! The offer drinks y'all... jusss saying - PERFECT chips, YUMMY salsa AND Drinks??? Um, yessssssss - Enjoy this experience!

Stopped for breakfast on a Sunday drive. We got there before 9:00 which was good because the place soon filled up. The breakfast was outstanding and traditional SW Mexican. Had the Sonoran Enchiladas breakfast. The best red sauce I've had so far in AZ....close to NM red sauce...close. Service was good and everything was made fresh. Worth the drive to this cool little Mexican joint. Will be back!

Nice place to stop and recharge. The restaurant is clean and well-appointed. The service was painfully slow, and we could see a lot of frustrated customers. Once we got a food order in, it came pretty quick. The steak fajitas were good. The refried beans lacked flavor and texture. My wife's taco salad was pretty small but tasty. I was pretty disappointed overall, but it could be worse in the middle of nowhere.

Breakfast enchiladas with ground beef, onions, red chili, topped with two eggs and a side of re-fried beans.

Was passing thru as I'm sure is the case with most in this tiny town. Saw that it was open and thought I'd give it a try. I can only speak for my taste and palate, this was one of the most delicious breakfast I've had in a long time. What impressed me the most second to the food was the wait staff. I began by ordering the enchilada breakfast. I clarified if it was corn tortillas. I was told they were Gordita style which I really don't care for, (glad I asked). I told her how I preferred them, which is New Mexico style with the eggs on top. Often times when you ask or mention a different way, I find your often told, something like, that's not how we do it. Not here. I explained that New Mexico style is layered corn tortillas, usually two with ground beef red chili and two eggs on top. She said "we can do that". How refreshing. I've had this style of breakfast enchiladas since I was a child. This breakfast brought back memories of my mom and her breakfast. I will definitely make this a stop in the future.

Ready to hit the road after filling up at Mi Pueblito.

We came back today for more of the great food and service! Thanks for the wonderful meal! See you soon!

    Chicken enchiladas: superb!

I've wanted to stop here for years, and today it finally happened. Lunch started with a bowl of chips. The extra-brown chips on top are made from their tortillas and are really special! I decided to order enchiladas (chicken) because I figured it would allow me to enjoy the homemade tortillas. So glad I did! The dish is REALLY colorful (see photo below), the tortillas were perfect, and the enchilada sauce was rich and spicy. What a lunch. I am going to have to make a special effort to stop here every time I drive by, even if the parking lot is filled with motorcycles which it often is.

She got the daily special which was a potsticker inspired noodle dish. WOW!!!! Absolutely amazing. It was sweet and savory with lots of flavor and yummy vegetables. I ordered the biscuits and gravy because it is my favorite dish EVER. Urban Fresh did not disappoint. The homemade biscuits were fantastic, with chive mixed in throughout. I could have eaten an entire bowl of the gravy and not been disappointed! It was so so so delicious. I was nervous bc it was coconut based but it all came together very balanced and I could not detect any coconut. I also ended up getting the sweet heart juice which has beets, carrots, ginger. It was so good!!!! Chauncey blended it as soon as I ordered. He pulled out the ingredients in front of me so it doesn't get fresher than that!! Please support local! The owners are really doing something special here and I would definitely come back to enjoy more things on the menu.

When I was new to town, the owner actually came out, chatted with me, and gave me a whole list of places to check out, people to meet, and things to do. It was such a welcoming moment that I've made a point to pay that forward to every new-to-town person I meet. Looking back, Urban Fresh was one of my very first experiences here -- and it set the bar. Fresh juices, house rolls, rotating specials, and all those scratch-made sauces keep things exciting every visit. Cozy vegan oasis energy tucked into a cute downtown cove, and still one of my consistent go-tos. The African hot sauce is my fav!

However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!
