The food was 5/5. There are very few options in Logan, UT for authentic Mexican food and this home style restaurant hits the spot. The tortillas were so so delicious. The flavors were developed and well rounded. I would have to stay the pollo tacos were a bit dry but the flavor was there. The fish and stake tacos bursted with flavor. The fish was soft and fluffy. The enchiladas tasted incredible. The texture and flavor all went together nicely. I do wish it was a bit spicier however, I think it's just as great without spice. I found the service to be 5/5 and the owner of the shop was very friendly and excited to have us in! I appreciate the ambience of the room as it felt very inviting. 100% you need to eat here! This is a hidden jem in Logan for sure. We were traveling here for a bike race and needed to find a place to eat. This is off the beaten path but not by far. Just far enough where you wouldn't see it from a main road and you may not ever find it if you aren't looking. My husband got the chicken stuffed burrito and boy was it stuffed. Piping hot fresh and filled the entire plate. They didn't skimp on the chicken at all and the flavor was delicious. There was a slight spice to it but if my sweet husband can handle it so can you. I had the asada tacos. I tasted the sauce they served with it and it was surprisingly really yummy (I'm normally not a hot sauce girl). I didn't add the sauce to my tacos though because I'm a purist when it comes to street tacos. Lime, meat and onions on a double corn tortilla. Don't mess with perfection. These tacos were amazing. The asada was tender and perfectly flavored. No gristle or fat and not too greasy or dry. Literally perfect! Oh and their corn tortillas?! Mmmmmmmmm!! They are homemade for sure. Fresh and moist not dry or flaky like some corn tortillas get. I could literally eat these all day! I didn't love that they had no soda machine but at the same time I loved the glass bottle of squirt I drank off while I downed my street tacos. The staff (I'm assuming the owners) were so friendly and kind. They gave good recommendations and helped us navigate a menu we weren't familiar with. You will love this place! read more

My wife and I were up from SLC and we were looking for a good spot to have lunch after the Lavender Festival. My husband and I went to catch a movie and realized we hadn't had dinner, so we walked over here and were just hoping to grab something quick. This place was open so we went in. We both have been to Mexico and lived in San Diego so we've had some pretty tasty Mexican food. This place was delicious. The chicken was tender and hand rolled taquitos, the chipotle sauce on top was smoky and made the entire dish amazing. My husband got a torta and his was also very good. This was an awesome place to go while I was here in Logan UT. The owners were very nice and talked to me while I ate all my tacos. They tortillas are always made fresh in the morning and you can tell they are very fresh ! The meat was very good and so were the hot and verde salsa that came with it. I have lived my whole life in Arizona with the best Mexican food around. A few weeks back I moved to Providence and quickly discovered most Hispanic food is just not the same up here! Tortilleria La Fuente changed all that! It is like a meal from my Arizona home! The prices are so low! The Taco Tuesday 99 cent tacos are an incredible buy. Even with a dozen tortillas to take home our bill for three people was just a little over $12.00! The fresh made tortillas and salsa are worth the trip there by themselves. Yes, there are no combination plates on the menu but the variety of tacos make up for it! Best Mexican food in Logan. The menu is small but don't let that stop you. Gorditos and fish tacos are a must. The sauce is so good and sometimes you get lucky with extra fresh ingredients or you get to be a guinea pig for Ana to try out new items.
