The tacos al pastor were the best we've had since Mexico. The tacos cabeza were really good too. The cashier was friendly and helped us understand how their system of ordering worked. It's a very casual restaurant with the paper flags flying across the ceiling. You stand in line to order and pick up your order when your food item is called. We'll be back. read more

Stopped in after a Utah State football game for some late night tacos and I was definitely not disappointed! They serve up the small street taco sized tacos but they are packed with meat. The open salsa and toppings bar has plenty of options to meet anyone's taste, but be warned ... the salsas have a serious kick. I tried the al pastor and carnitas tacos and, if it weren't so late, I probably would have had to make another visit to the register. The food was great. The dining area is pretty basic, and on the night we visited it could have used a little cleaning, but otherwise it was a good experience and I would certainly go back. read more

I admit I haven't actually been to the restaurant itself, but my father and I went to the taco festival to try one of each restaurant's tacos to vote on the best. We started at the Tacos El Robert stand where they grilled up a little bit of al pastor for us to try before we even ordered! We decided to get al pastor tacos from Tacos El Robert and from every stand after to make our vote fair. The al pastor from Tacos El Robert was *fantastic*. They loaded up our tacos with so much meat. I like spicy and my dad doesn't, so our toppings were a little different, but we both just went on about how good the taco was. We ate 3 al pastor tacos from different stands after, and we ranked each one as we went along, but after every taco we still decided Tacos El Robert was the best and that is where we cast our vote for best taco. We are from Los Angeles and were blown away by how good and authentic their taco was. The tacos here are fantastico! We ordered the al pastor and suadero (beef brisket) tacos and they were both tender and extremely flavorful. What makes this place unique is the salsa bar that has not only homemade muy picante salsas but also chopped pineapple and caramelized onions, among other toppings. Just tried this fairly new place in town and got to say ~ AMAZING. I come from Northern California and have been seeking an authentic Mexican restaurant for 4 years! Great salsa, they even have caramelized onions and roasted jalapeños at the salsa bar. Wonderful desserts ~ Tres Leche cake and Tiramisu - both very tasty. Finally got to try the tacos from here. I have to say they are really good. Almost as good as Tacos El Gordo in Vegas. I love that they make the tortillas fresh in house. I had the carne asada and chorizo tacos. The meat was moist and not dry and easy to chew (w/braces). The sister has cabeza and lengua she said they had lots of flavor. I like the 3 variety of salsas and they have fresh grilled jalapeños and onions. Everyone that works there is very friendly. The only thing is I hope they get more variety of beverages. read more

Tacos are an obsession with me. I spent 30 years in Southern California where on every other corner was a taco stand. Competition was fierce and the food was great. For so long Logan had mediocre Mexican food. Not anymore. Tacos El Robert is good, real good. It is authentic with a variety of meats, including tongue, brisket, and pork cheeks. All are great. Try the pastor which were exceptional on the day I went. It gets busy, and they will get to you, but this is not fast food. Relax, it's worth it. Ambiance is simple but clean. A four and a half star review is very well earned. read more
