Center Street Grill seems to be a beloved stop for locals, and I won't begrudge them that. My friend and I stopped by for lunch on a work trip on a rainy Saturday. About half the tables were full. The cashier greeted us cheerfully and offered help from the menu. From start to finish, he has friendly and attentive. The menu is large, and includes everything from reasonably priced (sub $10) sandwiches and wraps, to salads, burgers, fried sides, desserts, and even keto offerings! We ordered a Cobb salad and a Patty Melt and pickle fries. The pickle fries were the most lackluster. Nothing obviously bad that I can point out, they just weren't very good. My salad was very standard. Again, nothing wrong, just nothing I couldn't make at home out of a bag. My friend did really enjoy her patty melt and curly fries. Also, points for having both Pepsi and Coke options in the fountain! Another note, you won't buss your own table. Leave your food there. read more

This is a very cool looking place. When you walk in the door it's like going back in time just a little bit. It was my first time to be there and after the delicious cheeseburger I had today I have to go back for another one. After ordering at the counter, the attendant brought us our food. Charming little burger and sandwich diner that has gone thru a modest refresh to the decor since some persons in our party were last here years ago. Center Street Grill could've lost me for the sautéed mushrooms that tasted like canned mushrooms (yuck!) on my $10 A.1. (steak sauce) Muenster Burger. Yet the many creative, craft-level burgers -- like the Piña Colada with house caramel, grilled pineapple, spicy mayo, and toasted coconut -- or unexpectedly-pleasant touches like fresh sprouts (that so many restaurants don't serve anymore) on the Turkey and Avocado sandwich overall charmed us. Then the guilty-pleasure Tater Tots or Curly Fries as an included side option to fries -- tasting like they were fried in Groundskeeper Willie's precious retirement grease -- sealed the tasty deal. Kudos for having numerous Keto menu options as well as Impossible-style veg patty option for any burger (though at a $4 upgrade). Overall quite a nice find for lil' Logan! 4.5 stars read more

Friendly staff and a cool atmosphere with an old diner feel. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I found the menu a little overwhelming and it wasn't formatted well so it was hard to read some of the stuff but if that's my biggest complaint I'll call it a win. I went with a burger with buffalo sauce on it. I read later that any burger can be done as a chicken sandwich so I'll definitely do that next time! My husband had a chicken cordon blue sandwich which he loved. I had curly fries and my husband had cheese curds and they were both good but the cheese curds are definitely the way to go!!! This is an order and seat yourself restaurant. (They deliver your food to your table though.) The staff was friendly. The place was clean and pretty roomy. There's self serve soda fountains. The service is terrible. My husband and I came in for breakfast. They told us to have a seat, we waited 30 minutes after being seated before they even bothered to come take our order. Our orders didn't come out at the same time. I got mine about 5 minutes before my husband's so my meal was almost gone by the time his came out. I had half an avocado with my meal, it still had the outer skin on it. I had to ask for a spoon to get it out. My husband's meal had some unidentified objects in it (only explanation was they are using the same spatulas as other meals, cross contamination). The meals were edible, but not great. I went with some friends from work to eat. We ordered four burgers to stay, and two burgers to go. For some reason that was really complicated. The wrong items were brought out as to stay, then to go, then we got the completely wrong burger. It seemed like they had some new employees and were still figuring things out, but a pretty crazy time for what I thought was a simple order. I got the bacon ranch burger and was satisfied. Food is good. I wish there was more beef in the burger than toppings but it's still good. This past visit my order was taken wrong but I was really too hungry to care when we received it. I would appreciate sweetener being available for my iced tea and also some plastic silverware to cut my burger. The nice lady at the register went around three times picking up around the floor and checking on people - except our table. Weird but we didn't need anything at that point. Maybe she could tell. Frustrating and unfortunate experience. After waiting for 45 minutes for our two burgers, my wife asked the cashier what the hold up was. We were informed that the order never made it to the kitchen and that it would be started shortly. After a few more minutes of waiting and realizing we were coming up on an hour wasted, I returned to the counter and asked for a refund as we were short on time. The cashier granted the refund and offered a last second "sorry" as we walked out the door. I have never walked out of a restaurant, especially this hungry, upset, and frustrated. I say the experience is unfortunate because the overall ambiance of the restaurant is phenomenal and the food looked incredible, but I can't say I'll be back to enjoy it.
