Easy parking at a very nice facility. More importantly, being there really has helped me recover from a neck and shoulder injury.

Especially with competitors having $30-35 intro sessions for contrast therapy that is for an hour. I don't think this stands out. My complaint is that there is no showers at this location. I don't know about you guys but I want to shower if I been sitting/stretching/laying down sweating before I put some clothes back on. I was not aware of this until I made it to the facility. The sauna has a timer within it-- I was expecting it o ring or make a noise when it ended. It did not. I could've been there longer had I not been eyeing it myself. The facility is clean, small, the rooms are very small. I could hear the room behind me playing a movie while I had therapeutic music playing. It was very disruptive to my own session of relaxation. You're provided a eucalyptus cold towel and 2 towels within the sauna. One full body size and one smaller like a hand towel size. The TV has YouTube and Netflix & other apps as well but you would need to log into your personal details. The sauna has different colors you can change it to and they provide a sheet for color therapy if you are interested. You're responsible for taking all the towels out the sauna and dropping it off before leaving. The gentleman that helped me was extremely nice and helpful. He spent his time explaining Infrared sauna treatment and benefits. There is 1 ADA compliant sauna room for extra room. I believe the facility should've invested in space for showers to make it more inviting. I do plan on checking out their LB location as that one does have showers. Parking is in the plaza shared within the lot. They have a restroom. They have a water bottle station to fill up at the front as well as other drinks or electrolytes for your water.

When you first enter, they provide you with a uniform a wristband key for your locker. I felt renewed and clean afterwards. This level is nude, no cameras and no shoes. Once you go tot he second floor, you put on a uniform so you can explore all of the multiple rooms from cold rooms, salt rooms and sauna rooms. They also have an outdoor patio for you to eat, enjoy lunch and relax. They have a restaurant where you can purchase food while you wait to be called for your scheduled massage. I opted into the private room and enjoyed a 60 min massage with my preferred essential oil. This is an all day spa so there is no time limit on how long you can stay. I loved the experience, staff were friendly and nice and I plan to incorporate this into my everyday maintenance. Only downside is they don't offer memberships.

This is a great bouldering gym located in the heart of Long Beach!…read more Price: it's $10 for a day pass, which is pretty cheap compare to the other climbing gyms in LA. I usually get in for free since my friend has a gym membership here. Location: It's located near Anaheim St and Long Beach Blvd. It it centrally located near many awesome breweries and eateries Parking: street and meter parking. Atmosphere: spacious, nicely decorated entrance and check in area. Staff: Always friendly with great smiles Gym: The gym has about 4 walls. They're all for bouldering. They have all kinds of obstacle courses ranging from easy, to hard, to competitive. It does seem like their grading system is graded slighter harder. It's usually is nicely ventilated if they open the doors since there is no AC in the gym area. Bathroom: Clean and spacious. They have about, toilets, lockers, and 5 showers for you to clean up after the intense workout. They also have a sauna in there if you have time to relax. They used to have coffee scrub for use in the bathroom, I guess they took it away after Covid. Just ask the staff for towels if you wish to use the shower. If you're an avid climber, I highly suggest checking this gym out. There are so many obstacles here that provide lots of training to improve your climbing techniques!

Staff are generally nice, and all the areas are kept clean and tidy. A layout of the gym: In the front area they have plenty of counter seats, a ping pong table, and a small climbing section on the left. On the right they have 3 kilter boards and entrance to the restrooms which each have their own showers and saunas. There's a yoga area above which is a few short stairs away. As you enter the main climbing area, there's a fitness area on the left which has plenty of the traditional gym equipment. There are cubbies and a few lockers to place your things, with walls all around for you to try. They grade from v0 up, with each route clearly marked. Honestly, Long Beach Rising is one of my favorite gyms to visit! They emphasize inclusivity, and most interactions with staff have been so pleasant and helpful. I'm rating it 4 stars for a couple reasons: - Parking can be tough on this street depending on time & day - Most airflow within the gym is directed thru their ceiling fans. If those aren't on or are broken, the gym can quickly get hot and humid and stay that way - If you are unfortunate enough to deal with a not-so-friendly staff member, it can really take away from the greatness of this gym. My partner and I have visited a handful of times now and unfortunately on our most recent visit had such a snappy staff member that was servicing us as we checked in and purchased a few items. What I've liked so much about Long Beach Rising are that the routes are fun and challenging, but also that the space is so inclusive of diversity and kindness (added bonus that they allow dogs in!!). All the folks we've met on the walls have been nothing short of friendly and welcoming, and we would have thought the same of all the staff at LBR as well. Hoping our future visits are just as fun as our first time, since I know we'll be back soon!

This is how early humans secured their belongings: you brought a lock from home. Those who arrived without one -- as I did -- left the door open and trusted in God. Other Equinox locations have at least advanced to the rotating dial. Fifteen years ago my hometown gym opened lockers with a fingertip. Three years ago, with a face. Now, seriously -- none of this is hard to fix, and all of it is below the standard the brand charges for: 1. Cardio. A refresh is one request to headquarters away. Ask. 2. Paint. Reset to a clean pure white. Swap the blue accent for acoustic wood slat panels -- vertical battens on a black backing. Low cost, immediate lift, and it's the current Equinox language. 3. Lockers. Change the locks. Bring-your-own-padlock isn't acceptable at this price point. Keypad or RFID at minimum. Credit where it's due: the staff were friendly and respectful throughout, and I was here only as a visitor. But as it stands, this isn't a club I'd want as my home gym.
