He changed the plans with out our approval. After he was removed, he threatened to sue me on the theory that we could not fonish the job with the original contracvtors. after researvhing the issue and talking with a construction litigator I confiemd that was a lie. When we reveiwed the work he performed we found he used other individuals to do the workt and that a big part of the electrical was not to code. that neede to be redone. After that he still went to the city and slander us. The first review is true. He waits until he gets close to completing the project and then he tries to extort money from you. He does not even fallow his own contract.

The ceiling and the wall by the stairs looks flawless-like new! He carefully matched the paint to the rest of the ceiling and walls and painted everything with such care. My husband and I were very satisfied with his quality of work that we hired him again for another house project. He is such a hard worker and wants to leave the customer satisfied.

The company that extracted the water from the hall and partial in 2 bedrooms and the water heater room made holes in the wall to dry and one room a portion of the wall had to be removed along with the baseboard. There were holes in the hallway by the third bedroom and by the bathroom. This contractor came to my home to see and what I needed. He wrote me a proposal with labor, materials and paint. What areas that needed repair and painted. I even told him to pain the hallway. The first day he came patched up the holes and primed them. He said he would come back the next day. He left the one bedroom floor full of primer. I put a tarp that I purchased at Home Depot. It was all over the floor. He came back the next day. He finished painting fast. He wouldn't put the baseboard on. How can you leave one side of the wall without baseboard the rest with baseboard. He saw all of this when came. He told me if I wanted baseboard I would have to pay extra $35 to go get it because there was no Home Depot close. There is one close. Then he said he didn't carry anything to measure or to cut. I told him I have a measuring tape and Home Depot will cut the wood for you. He then got angry at me and told me if I didn't like it to go get it myself and he was finished and wanted his money. I told him no because his job wasn't finished. Will he went to get the board. I paid him everything that is on the invoice and he said didn't have receipts either. He was making this unpleasant. For what reason I don't know why. The tarps I purchased to help him, he kicked them in my bathroom and left them there. He didn't ask if where he could throw them away or if he didn't like them. Nothing. I have a large trash can outside. He just left them and I paid him and he left. The carpet guy came to clean the carpet and opened the water heater room, my god what was this guy thinking? He painted the walls that were so streaky and the baseboards were left with the old color and paint all over floor and paint that dripped on the baseboard. I cried. There was a hole made in the wall by the baseboard the guy that extracted the water made to dry. That was not patched or filled in. I sent pictures to Home Advisor. I do not recommend him. He disrespected me by the way he talked to me in my home. He scared me. I did call the police because I called home advisor and the lady told me to call the authorities if he scared me. but my mom said let him get the board and finish so he can leave. The police did offer to send someone. The police said if he starts up when he comes back call right away. He put the baseboard and I paid him. He left mad. I didn't dream he would of left this water heater area the way he did. The unfilled hole is visible. As I said what did he think. He told me at one point he ran out of paint. I offered to get it but he said he would get it for me. I was glad. Things look worse now than before he came. It's horrible. He never cleaned up before he left. It was so dirty. He even left the water heater with paint. I offered to cover it but he said would take care of everything. I felt assured. Big mistake. I'm very disappointed and upset. He wasn't taking home advisors calls until today. So I was asked to send pictures thru email which I did. Now I have to pay someone else to repair his mess.

Last year I had a fence blow down on one side of my house (along with most of San Antonio) and I was having a hard time getting a contractor to call me back, much less give me an estimate. Allen not only called me back, he came out and gave me a reasonable estimate and said he would work the job in as soon as he could. I was getting nasty notes from my HOA so this was a big help to me. The work was done on time, on budget, and MUCH better quality than the original builder. I had him give me an estimate on a deck at that time and was impressed out how reasonable it was. Fast forward to now and I am ready to build a deck, and my circumstances and finances allow for a much nicer deck than what he originally estimated. First I went through Home Advisor (which I recommend if you're lonely... you will get all kinds of calls lol) and they sent 3 different contractors out. I sent the first home without an estimate because he wouldn't even give me a quote unless I signed paperwork on the spot. The other two were also VERY high pressure and their quotes were... well they were high (like you have to be kidding high). That's when I remembered I had Allen's card and gave him a call. He came out himself and took measurements, asked questions about what I wanted (one of the other companies insisted on telling me what I wanted) and gave me a ball park quote on the spot. Just based on this experience and the previous work I would highly recommend them, but of course I will update this review once the work is done. (it's 3/16/18 now and I hope to start on it within the next month).

They hand-rolled and brushed two coats of paint with high precision and no drips. They showed up every day until the job was done. They took care of their own trash, used their own porta-potty onsite, and had a brilliant system for safely climbing on my metal roof. This was a challenging job and they completed it in the time-frame promised while even doing some extra things I did not expect such as cleaning the foundation and driveway. I could not be happier. Before I hired Sean I solicited quotes from several other companies but only Sean explained his approach in detail and pointed out important aspects about the house that other contractors missed.
