My experience at this practice was highly uncomfortable, with very little attempt on the doctor's part to rectify. In short, I was treated in a manner I believed warranted a negative online review. In retaliation for this complaint, I was denied the information I needed to submit my insurance claim (I had paid up front and then was seeking reimbursement). When I tried to speak with Dr. Parli about this issue, he demanded I leave the office and never come back, and seems intent on keeping the money I prepaid (I have two cleanings owed to me). His dental work is great, I won't deny that, but it does not matter how good his work is if this is how he treats patients.

We have both become increasingly uncomfortable with the front office's communication style and overall handling of concerns. At one point, I explicitly communicated that the cadence and manner in which I was being spoken to was increasing my dental anxiety and making it progressively harder for me to attend appointments. Rather than understanding or professionalism, I was met with dismissal and rudeness from the office manager. More recently, my father had his own horrible experience involving billing and insurance coding issues. During that situation, he was also spoken to disrespectfully by the office manager, who withheld insurance-related information after a negative Facebook review was posted. There is considerably more to this situation, including audio recordings and additional context, but because the matter is still active, I am choosing to exercise restraint in what I publicly disclose at this time. I do want to be fair and acknowledge that the dentists and hygienists at the practice have consistently been excellent. The practice itself also clearly makes an effort to create a calming, comfortable environment for patients through warm pillows, eye masks, and relaxing music, which I appreciated as someone with dental anxiety. Under most circumstances, this would outweigh a problematic office manager, but in this case, the level of disrespect and, quite frankly, unwillingness to do her job makes the practice impossible to continue with comfort.

I was devastated to say the least because my teeth and smile are my money maker. Ok, I kid So in speaking to a cousin a similar thing happened to him where he chipped a front tooth and recommended Dr. Giannuzzi for a veneer. We actually chipped the same exact front tooth and his veneer was FLAWLESS. I couldn't even tell the difference between either of his front teeth and the color match was perfect I made the appointment for the consult and was absolutely blown away by how efficient and friendly the front office staff was, how clean the office was and how wonderful the Doctor was. The office is very new and clean -- impressive for any doctor's office. The staff was meh. My cleaning was ok; I've had better. Former chairside dental assistant here by the way. The hygienist was meh. The doctor was rushed. In fact everyone was They have so many procedure rooms all filled with patients and not many assistants, hygienists and as far as I know just the one dentist. Look, I'm not looking to tell anyone my life story, but where was my exam? I didn't get one any of the times I went -- charting, checking gums, etc. No dental assistant to take notations. But my insurance sure as heck got billed for the exams The dentist would always say ok, see you in 6 months, get up off his stool, throw his gloves away and leave the room. The first two times it happened I assumed things were done differently now since I was a dental assistant -- we manually charted and didn't have digital xrays. So then I wisened up and starting asking about my exam. He'd poke around my mouth with his gloved fingers but that's about it. Didn't even bother to look at xrays -- they insisted I needed a full series every 6 months (keep in mind I'm in my mid 40s and only have 2 cavities that were so small I didn't even need numbing). The first time I went, it was the first time I went to a dentist in 15 years. I was fully prepared for the worst. In fact, I knew there was work to be done. They did some x-rays and when the dentist came in, he proclaimed that my teeth were in excellent shape! Nothing to be done! I knew he was wrong, but I kind of convinced myself to believe him. I went back for a cleaning six months later. That's where they found eight cavities. The lady that checked me out tried to tell me about how sometimes people have perfect teeth and then suddenly get a bunch of cavities. No, don't treat me like an idiot. I made appointments for the fillings. The first one seemed fine. I refuse to see that original dentist that couldn't find my cavities, but the other seemed great. The first appointment was for two fillings. For weeks, I've been in constant pain. I've gone through so much ibuprofen you wouldn't believe it. I called to make another appointment to get it checked out and had to wait over a week, but whatever. I went back in to get it fixed and get a couple more fillings. They did the fillings and nothing to fix the tooth that's had me in constant pain for four weeks. The dentist told me that it's normal to feel hot and cold sensitivity for a whole, even though I said repeatedly that hot and cold sensitivity wasn't the problem I was having. She said I should have gotten a root canal then, literally as I was about to leave. I went there to get that one tooth fixed, and they just sort of didn't listen to my issue. Don't go there. They're just bad dentists. I know if you don't go to the dentist, you might think, how bad could they be? I don't need anything fancy. They can be this bad.
