I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive, but I decided to give them a chance. I am very glad that I did. My visit was wonderful, and I do not like going to the dentist. The technician, Asiah, who did my xrays and cleaning was very patient and caring. Dr. Shelly was also very understanding and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

No pain until my mouth was raw from the shots. Fast forward...now there's infection and she wants to do a root canal without antibiotics. She orders Amoxicillin which i do not respond well too. Called the office and she's too busy to respond and will not change my script. I take meds for the 7 days(I usually get 10 days on Augmentin) It's not cleared up and she refuses to do anything by a root canal, no further script and still not speaking directly to me. My cheek is swollen and red, my neck is swollen and red.....off to the emergency room for treatment for the antibiotics i painfully needed. Needles to say...I won't be returning

I had my original dentures made at a competitor of Aspen Dental's in Greenville, approximately 3 years ago, they have NEVER FIT. From day-one I've had to use both paste and powdered adhesive to keep them in, I have never been able to eat with them in and my meals and snacks have been reduced to food I can gum to death! Every time I tried to have them fixed I was paying several hundred dollars, out of pocket, and they kept getting more loose ~ even though they were supposed to be guaranteed for 7 years. Aspen Dental in Simpsonville has completely changed my bad feelings about dentures in general. Dr Tyler Clausen is magical, I went there to have a tooth extracted and wound up getting my top denture redone. He is phenomenal, everything he promised me has come true and I can never thank him (or his entire staff) enough. I no longer feel sorry for myself having false teeth ~ I have a whole new smile! I went in hoping to get a problematic wisdom tooth removed. When Dr. Ryan and I agreed on removing it same day, I was able to warn him of a previous extraction; in which the dentists had to double the numbing dose, due to my high tolerance for it. He remembered when it came time to numb me up. The dental assistance's were phenomenal as well. One held my hand during the numbing process, while the other assisted Dr. Ryan also gave me information about my jaw, and how it's adjusted. The main problem going in was the wisdom tooth. He did exercises with my jaw which showed that the alignment of my teeth aren't centered when i bite down. He said this could be due to the wisdom tooth, or another underlying problem with my disk. But he never made me feel pressured by information. He was right to the point, adding details as I asked, without making it seem like i needed more than the necessary work done. To make things better, they wrote "Welcome Caitlyn" on the chalk board at the reception desk! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! A special thank you to Dr. Ryan and his entire team!

I went to Trinity Park because of pain in my tooth. I came in and they had me electronically sign…read morein. I asked what I was signing, they said to be treated. They gave no papers to fill out, no Hippa (illegal not to haave), no medical history, etc. I waited for a 3D xray, the dentist was to read the xray so I would know the next step. I waited over and hour and a half when I was told they would call the results before 5. No one called and then I found out that they closed at 12 on Friday. When calling them on Monday, I found out that there dentist left. I asked to get a copy of the xray and I have not received a response. They use contract endodontists and oral surgeons which come by once a month. When I asked to check the insurance they quoted me $49 for xrays, $100 to make an appointment to the endodontist, and $500 for the procedure, (even though they did not have a diagnosis.) I called my insurance and everything was already covered. My insurance company called then to see what was going on. Needless to say, I went to a real dentist office and got the real answer to my problem at no coast. This place is a mess. I would never go there again.

Having been to dentists for over 50 years the process is rather the same. However, what they do not tell you is what they are doing x-ray wise and you assume it is a covered service until you find out their lack of transparency and communications is some of those fancy x-ray costs you several hundred dollars/not covered by insurance - I was not afforded an opportunity to decline any of it. I believe their lack of transparency is to deceive you and you are forced to pay these significant fees even with insurance. By the time they did their evaluation they "recommended" a particular type of cleaning for $700 beyond insurance. I said no, I just want a basic cleaning which they DENIED me to have. All they could offer was since "we did this evaluation" we are only allowed to perform their recommended service - not a basic cleaning. Why? they don't make much money on a basic cleaning as covered by insurance - not too hard to figure out. Goal is to deceive patients and make money. I'm ok with you making money - but you must be transparent with patients and give them options, not paint them in a financial corner.
