MALPRACTICE/ NIGHTMARE/ ruined my teeth/ Left Invisalign button for years…read more.. I really didn't want to have to write this review, but the truth needs to come out. This place does not care about you and they only want your money. I had went here in college for Invisalign and every single time I visited. I had a different so-called specialist assisting with my new trays. Some of them were even the ones who put on the buttons on and towards what was suppose to be the end of my treatment one of the assistance at the time said that she refused to order my Invisalign until I got a bunch of other work done which at the time I absolutely could not afford. I told her as the patient needed new trays and she said she refused to put in order for new trays on my unhealthy teeth. After being traumatized and humiliated I finally worked up the nerve to try out a new dentistry, and I was shocked to find out that I had cement left in my teeth and a bunch of buttons that needed to be removed that I was told could not be removed (two were on my front teeth that left me feeling insecure about my smile for such a long time...) I never finished my treatment plan so a few years later, I decided to try and revisit in hopes that things have changed. I got an awesome cleaning and then Dr. Hapney sat down with me and talked about the Invisalign process, and I wanted to know how much it would be to reinstate the treatment because honestly if I had to pay from the very beginning everything all over again I would 100% go elsewhere, but if there was anyway that she could save my case which she said that she probably could and that she would try... That cleaning cost me almost $250 and because of my insurance it had to go in for reimbursement. I told them that day to specifically send the check to my house and gave them my address. They said they would take care of it and months went by and of course I didn't receive a check so when I called to ask them what was the holdup they said that they had the check in their office and that they went ahead and applied the balance tour to my account, which is the complete opposite of what I wanted. They did offered to send me the check but it has been over a month and a half and guess what I have not seen the check in the mail wish I could say I'm disappointed but honestly, this is the expectation coming from this place... At this point I'm tempted to file a lawsuit. DO NOT GO!

He could have simply said you need a root canal. Caring about a patient over need to bring in cash into the office won me over as a patient of Chapman Emergency dental services. The last two times I received dental treatment at Apple Seed Family Dentistry, I experienced significant problems afterward that required me to seek care elsewhere. The first time, I had a cavity filled, but the filling affected my bite. My bite did not feel right afterward, and I ultimately had to go to another dental office to have the problem corrected. The second experience was much more concerning. I received a dental injection, and afterward I developed severe difficulty opening my mouth--essentially a locked jaw--that lasted for about a month. Unfortunately, my jaw and mouth have not felt the same since. I have had to seek care elsewhere to have this continued issue get resolved. I understand that complications can happen with dental procedures, but having two separate experiences where I ultimately needed treatment elsewhere has seriously affected my confidence in this practice. I'm posting this review because I think patients deserve to know about my experience and to make informed decisions about where they receive their dental care. Ultimately, I have canceled appointments for my entire family and will not go back to this practice.
