In a market where I quite literally drive past multiple other dental care options on my way to an appointment, what I appreciate with O'Malley Dental and see as its differentiating factor is their focus on details. The practice exceeds expectations of detailed dental care from their technology, office space, massaging chairs, quality of staff, and more. The first appointment is entirely focused on assessing your overall health and smile via a detailed set of x-rays, imaging and medical background. From here, Dr. O'Malley provides a comprehensive assessment focused on health issues related to your teeth/mouth/gums/bone structure that goes beyond the typical cavities and gingivitis assessment. His explanation behind recommendations and visuals is complete, educational and logical. It is impossible, in my opinion, to leave the office wondering if you agree with the recommendation(s) received and whether you'll move forward to the next step(s). As I have completed a follow up appointment for decay, I saw this attention to detail carried through to my dental work and a no-rush attitude to quality. Dr. O'Malley has made great hiring decisions with dental hygienists, all of whom bring a high level of skill to the table and also a caring personality. Bre has a particularly calming effect. Best dental experience i've ever had! I had anxiety going into the appointment, but this team created a warming environment. My concerns were heard, and adjustments were made. I went in hoping to get a problematic wisdom tooth removed. When Dr. Ryan and I agreed on removing it same day, I was able to warn him of a previous extraction; in which the dentists had to double the numbing dose, due to my high tolerance for it. He remembered when it came time to numb me up. The dental assistance's were phenomenal as well. One held my hand during the numbing process, while the other assisted Dr. Ryan also gave me information about my jaw, and how it's adjusted. The main problem going in was the wisdom tooth. He did exercises with my jaw which showed that the alignment of my teeth aren't centered when i bite down. He said this could be due to the wisdom tooth, or another underlying problem with my disk. But he never made me feel pressured by information. He was right to the point, adding details as I asked, without making it seem like i needed more than the necessary work done. To make things better, they wrote "Welcome Caitlyn" on the chalk board at the reception desk! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! This is the third dental practice I've been to here in Greenville (due to changing insurance) but I will definitely be sticking with it. The people here are great, especially Dr. O'Malley. My wife and I have been coming here for about three years now and we've had nothing but a good experience. In particular, I had needed dental implants for years now due to the fact I was missing three permanent teeth (just never had them). I've put it off for all these years because I did not look forward to the cost and lengthy experience I anticipated the implants would be. I finally resolved to get them and ended up having Dr. O'Malley and his staff place the implants and could not be happier. The process was not too bad, they were helpful every step of the way, and most importantly my teeth turned out looking great. I could not be happier with the result. As a new patient of Dr O'Malley in 2017, I have experienced the personalized service you'd perhaps expect but, the staff went over and above to accommodate my schedule. One example, I was late for an appointment at the end of their day and they waited and performed my dental work without issue- it was after their closing time!! I felt badly but the staff were so friendly and made me feel that the completion of my dental work was most important! They give plenty of reminders in many pleasant ways of your upcoming appointments so you won't forget. Dr O'Malley and his staff are an amazing team, a dental office that you should check into. Always greeted with politeness and smiles, you don't always get that at other offices. The wait room is cleaner than some homes I've been in but you never really get much time to spend there since your wait time is never long. Each room is decked out in the latest technology and the hygienist always takes the time to answer all questions and show you how everything works. You even get a goodie bag at the end of your appointment which I have never seen any where else. O'Malley has taken care of all my dental needs and I could not be happier. read more

I have been going to O'Malley Dental for a sleep apnea mouthpiece. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time to see the doctor which is also important to me. Dr. O'Malley is also one of the few dentist in the area that handles the sleep apnea mouthpieces and summits everything to your insurance company. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for a good dental practice to go to especially if you live in the Simpsonville area. read more
