I have pretty good skin, but the 2 things I've always had trouble with were clogged pores on my nose, and bags under my eyes. I tried everything to get the bags under my eyes to go away. I tried getting 10+ hours of sleep, drinking more water, cool compresses, and I even used tea bags on my eyes after they were chilled in the fridge! Nothing worked. I came to Total Glow after doing research on hydrafacials online. I came in for a facial. My aesthetician Jennifer was great! She was also very thorough while doing my Visia scan. Every new patient gets a skin scan so they can recommend the best treatment. Since it was my first time I had a lot of questions, but Jennifer patiently answered them all. When I explained my eye issue, she offered to change the standard facial a bit by adding some extra hydrating oils to help smooth out the fine lines. During my facial, it was honestly an hour of bliss. The rooms are posh and spotless; a real five star experience. The work the team does is so thorough and organized, they truly set the bar for medical skin care providers everywhere. So many impurities were taken out of my face that when I looked in the mirror my skin looked like a porcelain doll's! My face was hydrated, and the bags under my eyes improved drastically! They also recommended one of their eye creams to put on every evening to help smooth the bags out even more, and after 2 weeks of using it I see a huge difference. I'm a regular here now. Yes, you can have a religious skin care routine, but after coming here I realized that there are just some things you can't do on your own. I have had facials in Korea, Japan, LA all of Europe, and there is nothing that comes close to the facial that I get at Total Glow. I've been coming to Total Glow now for 6 months, every month, for the Elevated Glow HydraFacial and the LED light therapy. My skin has never looked better, I get complemented all the time on my skin, and I've never felt better about the products that I'm putting on my face. My review refers only to Chiho, otherwise I would for sure not give a five stars review. I am a member in Menlo Park location. My first facial was great! I felt well taken care of, relaxed and I decided to get a membership. My second visit was terrible... I felt rushed, it was nothing like the first facial that I got. Not to mention I was freezing cold, and the provider didn't even care to ask (my bad I didn't say anything, that's true) if I feel comfortable and if I am not cold- the room was truly FREEZING. Such a disappointing experience! I honestly almost gave you like a two star review but decided to wait until my next visit. I booked next session but in the meantime I got an email that the provider I was supposed to have an appointment with isn't available and I will have it with someone else. Honestly I got super lucky to get an appointment with Chiho. She's AMAZING! She always care about my comfort, I feel relaxed and can not wait until the next visit. Total Glow does an amazing job of taking care of you. I wouldn't normally go to a MedSpa but my girlfriend insisted I go for a facial and I could immediately see results. I booked an hour long intro elevate hydrafacial with Kim. The experience from booking to check out was very pleasant. The staff was very welcoming and accomadating. The package included photos that shows your wrinkles, bacteria, dark spots, etc. It was very interesting to see! Kim was awesome to work with and would book with her again! She's very warm, professional, and her light touch is magic! She explained every step, and explained the benefits of every product that she used. She made sure you were comfortable with your time with her. In the end she gave product recommendations based on your skin concerns and type. I love love love the glow facial I received from Kimberly. I've been needing to get a facial and wanted to try dermaplanning since seeing it trending all over social media. What made me really attracted to the facial is seeing that brown and black people were getting amazing results with absolutely glowing skin. Was originally searching on Yelp for a Botox center in my area and I ran across this gem. I was scrolling through their pics and their hydra facials before and after pictures were amazing. I gave them a call and they scheduled me for the next day. Tina was so great, I am now a member and look forward to see what my skin will be like in no time. When you have problematic skin most places make you feel a little uneasy and uncomfortable by pointing out the flaws, instead here they focus on the "how they're going to fix it". I had my latest treatment (hydrafacial) earlier this week, towards the end of the treatment, I had a mild panic attack (I had a super stressful week at work so I think that's what could have brought it on -- please note that the treatments themselves are super relaxing!) I got my lips done here and it was amazing. I've had it done at two other places before that cost the same and weren't nearly as good. The nurse practitioner clearly specializes in lips and makes sure every client has perfect ones for their face. The pain management is much better than what they use at other places. They are also very professional. They over charged me once and immediately sent me an apology email. They refunded me and offered me a complimentary service for the mistake. This is a two-part review (both of which I give five stars) Making an appointment was super easy, went through the forum on their site which then they responded by email fairly quickly. Rest was through texting which is my preference of communication and super easy. I made an appointment for a consultation on Kybella and to get a facial. There's plenty of parking with privacy. When you arrive you just text them and they'll let you know when they're ready for you to walk up to the door. Took my temperature and gave me some hand sanitizer, so they follow covid safety protocols. Kybella Consultation went great. I forgot the N.P.'s name who helped me but she's amazing!! We went through what I'm trying to accomplish and went through with the pros/cons, answered all my questions. Checked to see if I'm a candidate, which I was, so went started talking about pricing! She was able to do the injections the same day but I clarified with her that I also booked an appointment for a facial so she worked around that and was able to administer the Kybella after my facial! Fast forward to after my facial she put numbing cream under my chin area and let it sit. Using three syringes administered the Kybella which was quick. Wasn't as painful as I thought, just felt like a tiny stab. She then gave me an iced pack to hold under my chin and take home. A couple of days later my chin is still swollen but there's no pain, just annoyance of that "bullfrog" look and some weird jiggling. Not sure how else to explain. So far so good. Ok, now going back to when I got the Hydrofacial: Kim did an amazing job! We started with a machine where it tracked all sorts of data, big pore areas, pollution, spots, etc (Sorry, I cannot remember them all). During the facial, she explained which product she was using, the benefits, and how I should be using them. Was very relaxing and informative. My skin was so clean, smooth and even looked brighter! Most definitely coming back to maintain this! From these two experiences, I would trust to try out other services they offer! read more

I've been to this spa twice now and have signed up for the monthly VIP membership, because I was beyond impressed by every aspect of my experiences here. From the moment I walked in I could tell how much time and energy was spent curating the healing vibe. This isn't just your average skincare spa. They genuinely care about all-around health and wellness, may it be through skin therapy, ayurveda therapies, massage, and I recently found out they are even moving into the medical spa space and will be offering IV vitamin treatments and botox. SO EXCITING! During your first visit they do a skin analysis, during your consult, that safely shows skin health using light imaging. Then you go in the beautiful treatment rooms where every aspect of the facial is explained to you. My consultant was Tina, and I would HIGHLY recommend her. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her work. They use hydra-facial technology, they do lymphatic drainage, dermaplaning, lots of serums, extractions. It's fantastic! I've only been twice and I see a huge difference in my skin. It's really dewey, and my dark spots are disappearing. They use Environ products, which are absolutely incredible! Beyond satisfied and pleased with my entire experience at Total Glow and especially with my extremely talented aesthetician Jen! Firstly, I loved the ease of booking online through the MindBody app. When I arrived at the beautiful building (which also has a private parking lot), the receptionist was kind and offered me something to drink. The office was brand new and state of the art. Jen brought me to the room and took the first 10 minutes to discuss my skin history and short/Long term goals for my skin. I appreciated that she didn't rush me in to my appointment (which has happened to me in other experiences). I received the hydra facial and it was my first time experiencing it and I LOVED it! What I was equally impressed with was how Jen didn't use a "tool" to violently extract my blackheads which is the traditional way to do it, but she used a hydrating vacuum which is much gentler on your skin and not painful but achieves the same results as the tool. Color me extremely happy... AND 'totally glowing!' I had my first experience with a Hydrafacial this week at Total Glow Wellness and could not be happier! The minute you walk through their doors, you know you are about to experience something special. From the beautiful decor, to the warm greeting from Danielle at the reception desk, it's obvious that Total Glow has made it their mission to elevate your total skin care experience. A relaxing, cascading 'water-wall' combined with soothing music relaxes and preps your psyche as you await the wonderfulness to come! After she reviewed the three-page questionnaire I filled out upon arrival, Kim (my amazing esthetician) brought me to her treatment room (of course, 'relaxation nirvana' was awaiting me there too!). After I got comfy on her warm, ergonomically comfortable table, Kim came back into the room... and the magic commenced! I was so relaxed and enjoyed it so much, I'm hard-pressed to be able to describe the experience in any great detail... But I can say that Kim kept me informed every step of the way as to each procedure that was performed, and every product used. Then... at the very end.. there was 'the great reveal' to show the amount of impurities that were removed in the process. Not a pretty sight, but a satisfying sight to see the ugly toxins firsthand. Not only did I leave relaxed, I also left with the knowledge that I did something pretty remarkable and healing for my face. Some may feel that with so much technology involved, it has to be next to impossible for this to be a relaxing facial, but it truly was. And it is the technology that delivers results. I went for spa day with all my coworkers which we do every year. I usually get a massage but switched it up this year and got a facial- and oh boy I'm glad I did! One of the best facials I've had and I've actually had my fair share of facials! I received the hydra facial. They first do a computer analysis of your skin- scary I know- but I look forward to seeing how my skin has changed. The staff is very knowledgeable about skin care and what you should and should not be doing. I wish I could have a facial every day at Total Glow. It was very relaxing and my skin felt great! She ended up advising my masseuse which massage oil would be best for me. Is that cool or what? My hour of bliss was with Amelia. Once in my life, I made a massage appointment for 90 minutes. It was too long. This was the first time when I felt like my massage wasn't long enough. Let me tell you, I saw her a week later for 90 minutes and it STILL wasn't long enough. And it was deep tissue/sports massage. I floated out of Total Glow like a jellyfish. I felt younger. Crazy. Best massage of my life. Amelia is a healer. See her if you can... but don't (sniff) steal her from me (cough). Next, my facial was with sweet Eren. She offered to talk or not talk as much as I wanted. I was curious of the process so she told me what she was doing to my face every step of the way. Still, I almost fell asleep on the table. And I felt dewey and beautiful on the way out. What a treat. Ok firstly, I have never had a facial before and I am an anxious person so I was super nervous, but as soon as I walked into Total Glow I felt calm. Also I do have allergies so a lot of scents irritate me, but the smells are amazing, the atmosphere is soothing, and most importantly everyone I came across was so nice and welcoming. I got a hydrafacial from Sayaka who was absolutely incredible!! I had lots of questions because I thought I had sensitive skin all my life and again I was really nervous, but she made me completely at ease and made me feel so comfortable by listening to all of my concerns.
